The anger Lovelia harbored inside returned with a vengeance. It was even more intense than she had felt for Mitos. She felt like her stomach was churning and her chest was heaving. "Get away from me, you liar!" He pulled her for an embrace. “I am sorry, Love. I am so sorry. Please! Listen to me first,” he pleaded. Why does he need to apologize to her? He was not Mitos. It was Mitos who left her. Mitos should be the one to apologize to her and not this handsome man who was hugging her. "I don’t want to listen to you! Let me go!" But she couldn't get herself to get out from his embrace nor fight back. What was happening to her? She should be angry. She should be asking the security guards to drag this man out. He had been trying to fool her, and now he was harassing her as well. She felt tired. She couldn't fight anymore. Her anger was not for him but for Mitos. And she was willing to forgive this man if he would just admit that he was not Mitos. He hugged her even tighter and kissed her on her forehead. “I am really sorry. I know I have made so many mistakes, huge ones as well. It is not easy for you to forgive me because I left you and never came back. ” Mitos was really a big coward. He couldn’t tell her what this handsome man was telling her that he needed to ask someone else to talk to her? Was he really that afraid she would pour out all her wrath because of all the things he did to her? And Mitos actually thought she would fall in love again if he sent out a man who could give out a good hug like this man with her? Huh! She changed her mind. She would not fall in love with him. She would also not fall in love with the man pretending to be Mitos. She had no interest whatsoever with Mitos anymore, and she was only after this man’s body now. She would just let herself drown in his wonderful scent and enjoy squeezing his muscles. He wanted to pretend? Fine. He could pretend however he wanted, as long as he wanted it. So he could show Mitos what the heck she thought of him returning to her life. She pushed the man away. “You have thick skin, Mitos. Do you think what you did, leaving me that way, was that simple? You broke your promises. I made a lot of sacrifices just to make your dreams come true. Then you just disappeared. I looked like a fool waiting for you all those years. I tried to understand you even when my mother died and you didn't even sent a single message. I still cared more about you, what have you been doing, were you still okay… But you, you didn't even try to know what’s going on with me. What happened to me? I lost my sight but you never cared. You have no idea what I’m going through right now. All of that…can you still make those right again?” She couldn't keep herself from crying. She didn’t want to remember all those years that have gone by. She didn't want to cry anymore. And she would not show this man how much pain Mitos had given her. That no matter how much she wanted to forget, she still ended up hurting. She would not have suffered such hardship if only the people he loved had been responsible enough. If only her father had thought of what could have happened to her before he got himself addicted to gambling. If only Mitos had kept his promises, then she would not have suffered like this. “We can’t undo the past, Love. I made a big mistake. I ignored you for a long time. You still waited for me. I was not by your side when you needed me the most. That’s I'm asking you to just give me another chance to make it up to you. Please? ” Damn it. She wanted to crush his face, but this man was just too handsome. If he was the man who would offer to help her, she would not hesitate to accept. She would even kiss and hug him for it. But not as Mitos. She was no longer interested in Mitos. Even if he somersaulted in front of her asking for her forgiveness, she would not give a care. She no longer wanted to rely on its promises. She knew she would only get disappointed. And how could he trust him again? He couldn’t even face her now and even let someone else do things for him. Why would she even trust a man who was clearly trying to fool her? “I don't believe you anymore. I hate you! Don’t bother me again. You have wasted the opportunities I have given you.” She clung on her cousin’s arm. "Let's leave now, Kulas." She felt so drained for days now. It doesn’t have enough energy facing this man pretending to be Mitos. She didn't want to cry anymore. Didn’t want to feel bad about herself. The man who had given her a flower earlier blocked her. “Miss Love, don’t leave just yet. Please listen first… ” "If you don't stop bugging me, I’ll hit you with this," she said, showing him the walking stick. “I have to go to Mitos. Can you just leave me alone now? Don't you dare follow me or I’ll call the police.”
