LOVE WENT TO Cameron’s penthouse. His secretary told her that he had canceled all his meetings and left his office even when it was just still early in the afternoon. It seemed like he wasn’t feeling good that day.
“Your timing to visit him was perfect, Miss Love. If you have anything important to say to Sir Eron, just say it. He’s too weak to argue anyway.”
"Are you sure he won't throw us off this building if he finds out we're conspiring?" she asked and took the elevator.
“Don’t worry, Miss Love. Maybe the one he needed right now was you. The truth is, he had been moping around in sadness since the day you left his side. I hope you can fix your problems now so he can finally give me my performance bonus.”
"I just wanted to know something from him."
The scholarship certificate in her bag felt like it was burning her. According to Mitos, it was Cameron himself who would finance her studies. She had a certain idea why Cameron was doing it. But she didn’t want to entertain that idea because it might hurt her in the end.
It would be better if she could hear it directly from Cameron himself. If he’s not gonna tell her the truth, she would not accept this scholarship.
Marvin knocked on Cameron's door. "Sir, the masseuse is here."
“I don't want to get a massage! I told you I just wanted to have a rest! Just pay him and let him leave!”
She opened the door. "If you don't want a massage, maybe you can answer some of my questions."
They were both surprised when they finally faced each other. He had just finished taking a bath and only wore a towel around his waist. She suddenly felt thirsty. She remembered the first time she had seen his naked body.
"I'll leave first, Sir," Marvin said and left the room.
"No! Take the masseuse with you. Marvin!”
But was already out of the room, closing the door behind him. Cameron's eyes widened and he quickly opened the door but it wouldn’t open.
"Marvin, unlock this damn door.”
Love received a text message from her cellphone. It was from Marvin. “He will come back after the one-hour massage session. So, do you want a massage, or we’ll have that talk?”
“I don’t want any of it because I want to sleep. I don’t know what you and Marvin have conspired, but you will get nothing from me,” he said and threw himself on the bed. “If you have nothing to do for an hour, feel free to feast your eyes on my body so you won’t get bored.”
Such arrogance. Then he already knew she had some hots for his body. Well, he was right. But…
“I’ll lust over you later. For now, I want an explanation for this.” She pulled out the folder from her bag and shoved it to his face. "Why did you give me a scholarship?" 
He turned on his bed, his face on the plump mattress. “Oh, that! I give scholarships to a lot of people I
don’t know personally. You are not that special.”
She laid the folder on the bed. “I don’t need this. I can send myself to school. I already have a job.”
He got up. “Take it. You will be a great teacher. You will finish school faster if you use that. Anyway, why did Mitos tell you I was the one who gave you that? I told him not to say anything about me. What the heck was your boyfriend thinking?”
“Mitos is not my boyfriend. Mitos and your cousin will go to the Bahamas next week. Together.”
“With Shei? What about you? Isn’t he your boyfriend…”
She shrugged off her shoulders. “He can’t be my boyfriend if I’m already in love with someone else. You."
"Me? W-why me? I thought it was Mitos who you’re in love with.”
“You are the one I love now because your body is hotter and you are richer than him. Satisfied with my answer now?”
He shook his head. “I don't believe you were after my money. You have too much pride to be a gold digger.”
He smiled and reached for her waist to pull her closer to him. She fell on top of his body. “But I’d believe that you have designs for my delectable body. And you're here to take advantage of me, right?”
Her eyes widened. "How did you know? I mean… I won't take advantage of you. Besides, I wasn’t just after your body…”
Her mind went into haywire when he kissed her. She couldn’t even remember what they were discussing, what were the questions she was supposed to ask him about. She didn’t even know what that kiss was for. Ah, well. She doesn’t care if Cameron was just playing with her now or getting his little revenge on her. All she knew was that she just loved this man. Even if he hurt her, she would accept it. The only thing that mattered now was that she could be with him again and she could feel his hugs and kisses once more. She would rather have that than cry every night whenever she thought of him.
"I love you, Lovellia Andrada," he whispered and kissed the tip of her nose.
"Was that for real? You’re not just joking, are you?” She pressed a finger to his lips. "Okay. No need to answer that.” She doesn’t care if it was true or not. What was important to her was that he was with her and she heard him say that he loves her.
He became serious and removed her fingers from his lips. “I love you even though you love Mitos. Even if you don't really love me. I didn’t give you that scholarship because I’m planning to take you away from Mitos. I just want to help you fulfill your dream.”
She got up and looked at him. He seemed like he was serious enough.
"But…aren’t you mad at me because I cheated on you?"
“Maybe you lied a little. But you can't deny that you want to be a teacher. You will be a good teacher.
I’m sure there will be a lot of kids who will be able to reach for their dreams because of you. Even if
you don't love me, I'll be happy when you finally fulfill your dream.”
She hugged him. “You do love me. You truly love me, right? Even if I’m not blind anymore, you still love me.”
He laughed and hugged her tighter. “Whether you’re blind or not, my feelings for you have nothing to do with that. You are a strong and spectacular woman. You deserve to be loved. If I had not met you, I might still not be happy until now. I might still know how it was to love and be loved in return. I miss you.”
She pressed her forehead to his. “I miss you too. I was afraid to tell you the truth before about my eyesight because you might disappear from me. It gets tiring to love someone sometimes. Because the people
I love, they all just left me. But you did not leave me. You don't know me but you made me feel like I'm not alone. That’s why when you left me, I felt like I no longer have my heart with me.”
“I will never leave your side from now on. I want to be there with you when you fulfill your dreams. And I just want you to make me smile.”
She squeezed his cheek. “So, where’s your smile? I miss that. During those times that I felt like I have no hope, your smiles give me the strength to move on. I will never let you go. You are my eyes and you are my light.”
He was about to kiss her when he stopped. "Just a minute." He reached for his cellphone and called Marvin.
“Come back after two hours. And when you unlock the door, leave our dinner at the door as well. Take a vacation. I will send you your bonus tomorrow.”
"What are we going to do in two hours?" she wondered.
"We'll make up for the lost time," he said and kissed her lightly.
"Sir, that is not included in my job description as a masseuse"
“That’s okay. That is included in your job description as my girlfriend.”
