Chapter 51 I don't want to hear anything about Love

CAMERON FELT LIKE his brain was about to explode as he listened to her cousin Shei’s cries. They met at his parent’s house in Dasmariñas Village where Shei went straight to from the airport.
“Kuya, I need to get Mitos back. Why didn't you take that Love away from him anyway?”
"Are you crazy? What do you want me to do to make you satisfied with your obsession with that Mitos? Want me to kidnap him?”
"Anything. Do anything. I can't live without him.”
He still hasn’t been able to recover from everything he discovered that day. Love pretending to be blind. Shei hides the truth from Mitos. Women would really make him lose his sanity. They were messing up his life.
“Why didn't you tell Mitos that Love needed him? Don’t you know how much of a mess you just created?”

If Shei didn’t hide Mitos, Love would have been together with him sooner. He would not have had to pretend to be Mitos. He wouldn't have fallen in love with her. He wouldn't have to be fooled by her.
He couldn’t get over her deceit. He was an expert on playing around with women, but Love was able to make a fool of him just like that? He thought he had found the woman he could trust with his heart. He was too stupid to believe that.
“Kuya, do you think I will just give up Mitos to that woman? I finally have my chance with him. Of all the women he had been with, he finally noticed my existence. He loves me, Kuya. If only someone didn’t call him to tell him where Love was…” She removed her shoes and threw them away. "Who the hell was that anyway?”
“Shei! You almost hit my Ming vase! That’s expensive!” his mother said hysterically. “You’re still not over with that Mitos guy? You are beautiful. Men would be willing to sacrifice themselves just to have you.”
Shei hugged his mother. "Auntie, I really love him."
“Shei, Aunt is right. You shouldn’t be crying over that poor waiter. Anyway, he finally got back together with that blind girl. Good. They deserve each other.”
His eyes narrowed when he saw Janice follow his mother. With those sly eyes and the cunning smile on her lips, he knew that she was responsible for all the chaos. She had his revenge on him because he rejected her.
"You think so, Janice?" he asked with squinted eyes.
She turned to him with a smile. “That goes for you, too. You’re not really angry that I told Mitos where to find Love, are you? Maybe it's time for you to come to your senses. See? If it wasn’t for me, you will never know that Love is such a big fat liar. That she was not really blind. She was just using you.”
“Didn’t I tell you, Cameron?” his mother turned to him. “That woman is a cheater and she finally showed her true color. Good thing Janice managed to help you in time."
"Ma, that's enough!" he said. "From now on, I don't want to hear anything about Love."
Anger flashed across Janice's face. “Don't say you're still crazy about that woman? Mitos is the one she loves, not you!"
"Do not worry. I already know that,” he said with a sad smile before turning to leave.
He felt stupid for the first time in his life. He learned a bitter lesson. Women should not be trusted.
They were capable of deceit for their own gain.
And now he has lost Love completely. Mitos was back. Love doesn't need him in her life anymore.

LOVE COULD FEEL her heart beating hard against her chest as she waited for the elevator to arrive on the floor where Duarte International Bank had its office. She had not seen Cameron for a few days now and she couldn’t stop thinking about him. They needed to talk. She couldn’t just let him think that she cheated on him, that she played with his feelings.
Marvin was waiting for her when the elevator door opened. “You can go straight to his office, Miss Love. He didn’t know I was the one who let you in and…he’s not in a good mood today.”
She nodded. "Thank you."
Marvin had already mentioned to her that Cameron has not been smiling for a while now. His anger was also quick to flare up when employees were not able to do their job immediately.
She knocked and gently opened the door. His forehead furrowed as he focused on the laptop in front of him.
He looked so serious and was angry at the world. This was not the Cameron she knew. The Cameron she knew was always smiling. Whenever she’s down, his smile was enough to raise her morale. Now she could do nothing for him because she’s the reason why he could not smile anymore.
“I thought you needed to fetch some papers from my father’s office, Marvin. Why are you still here?” he asked without taking his eyes off the laptop.
"M-Marvin wasn't outside so I just went in."
