LOVE WAS AMAZED at the massage parlor and café owned by Lorena. Both of them got surprised when she applied for a job at the newly opened massage parlor. Lorena, the wife of the former syndicate's leader, turned out to be the owner. The woman was able to report her husband to the police and exposed the syndicate’s illegal activities. Now she had turned over a new leaf. Lorena wanted to help the other women at the club who wanted to change their lives as well by giving them decent jobs. 
"I want to work here," Love said. The place looked cozy and very relaxing. The atmosphere is nice. A very far cry from the establishment her former husband owned, who, by the way, was now in jail together with his ugly men.
“But I want you to work at the café. I wanted to have a singer here, so you can still go to school. You want to continue your studies, right?”
“Yes. I still want to fulfill my mother’s wish for me.”
She decided to let her father stay in Guimaras where he had a decent job. She realized she wanted to grab every good opportunity that came her way. She would let Kulas follow her father to Guimaras to watch over him.
“That’s what I want from my employees. For them to have a dream. Don’t worry. I will give you free rein in your schedule when you start your studies.”
"Thank you." There were still a lot of people who cared about her ‘til this day. That’s why she wanted to finish her studies so she could help others as well. That was all the people who helped her wanted in return.
Mitos was waiting for her when she came out of the café. “Hi! Did you get the job? Come on! I’ll treat you today. You cannot refuse. You’ve denied my help quite a few times already.”
She was forced to go with him. They were still friends. She just didn’t accept his offer to pay her father’s debt to Cameron. They even argued before because he said she accepted Cameron's help but not his. Mitos didn’t show up for a week. He’s always been like that when he was sulking. But when he finally showed up, it meant they were okay with each other again. 
"Love, can't you love me again?" Mitos asked.
“I don’t know, Mitos. My feelings had been gone a long time ago, since the time you didn’t come back. And right now, I don't feel like I can love you again. It's not that easy to forget Cameron either. I still love him."
It was as if Cameron had just passed through her life. Maybe he had forgotten about her already. Kinda unfair because she just couldn’t forget about him, not even for a single moment in her life. She couldn’t even give Mitos a chance. She could not deceive how she felt.
"If I don't really have any chance with you, I was thinking of going back to work in another country."
"You’re leaving already?" he asked.
“I just came home for you. Because I want to make it up to you. I want to take care of you. But you don't seem to need me anymore.”
She held out her hand to him. “I’m also thankful that you came back. I hope I'm still your friend. We’ve been through a lot before anyway, right?”
Reluctantly, he shook her hand. “Of course. I hope it's okay with you if I still call you. It kinda gets lonely and sad living in another country sometimes.”
“I don't think you'll be too sad. You would still meet up with Shei, right? She already apologized to me.
I hope you can forgive her already. We make mistakes sometimes because we love someone too much.”
He looked surprised. "Is it okay for you if Shei becomes my girlfriend?"
She nodded. "Of course. In fact, I actually like her for you.” When she had the chance to talk to Shei, she realized the woman was a good person. Just like her cousin Cameron. Shei just got a little over the top when she fell in love with Mitos. “Maybe now you can finally forgive her. After all, you had a nice relationship and you were happy with each other when you still didn’t know about my situation.”
“She reminds me so much of you. How can you take care of me before.”
“I'm not like before, Mitos. I am no longer that child. A lot has changed about me. When you learned the new me now, you probably would not like me anymore.”
"But Sir Cameron still likes you."
She just shrugged off her shoulders. “Maybe. But he probably likes another woman now.” She laughed. “Let's not talk about him anymore. Hey, don’t go around fooling women, okay?”
"Before I leave, I hope you won't refuse this." Mitos took out a folder. When she opened it, she was surprised to see a scholarship grant for her. It wasn’t just for her college degree but also for her master's if she ever wanted to continue her studies to a higher degree. "I can't accept this."
"Sir Cameron will get angry if I tell him that. Because he instructed me to give this to you and that I should not accept any refusal from you.”
“But why would he give this to me? Wasn’t he mad at me?”
"Why don't you just ask him yourself?"
