LOVE TRIED to calm herself. The truth was that she wanted to thrash everything right now. Damn it! Mitos really ruined her moment. It was not enough that he left her and forgot about her. She didn’t even hear anything about him. And just when she finally met someone who makes her feel something new, that moron appeared and messed up her beautiful imagined future with the handsome stalker?
He really had the worst sense of timing. He just screwed up her happiness tonight!
"Where is he?"
She was still curious about him somehow. ‘Wonder what had gotten into her ex-boyfriend’s head and he appeared now after all these years. Or maybe he just wanted to ruin her day. Or night.
"He’s not here right now."
"But he's already in Manila?"
The man shook his head slowly. “Not there either. He still can't show up or talk to you yet but wants to tell you something important.”
She tightened her grip on the beautiful bouquet. That man was really annoying. He wanted to tell her something important but would not show himself to her? Is that idiot fooling her?
“Please tell him, I don’t have time for his nonsense. Excuse me. I still have important people to talk to. ”
“It’s okay. Take your time,” Avondale said and left her.
Her lips were pressed together. She was really annoyed. She wanted to make a scene, throw that bouquet of flowers she was holding up in the air. Her dream hunk was already there and waiting for her. She needed to get rid of Mitos’ messenger as soon as possible if she wanted her love life to bloom.
"Miss Love, Mitos’ message is very important,” the man said.
“I'm not interested. If he cannot say to me directly what he wanted to tell me, I don’t need to hear it.”
It had been five years since they last saw each other. She waited for him for years. She looked like a fool while he had forgotten about her. She did it out of love. But it was all over now. It was over for them. She had shed enough tears for him.
She just wanted this Mitos’ messenger to leave her alone now so she could continue with her current happiness. She already has her Macho Guapito admirer. She wouldn’t let Mitos ruin her happiness now.
And if Mitos’s messenger really wanted to, he could to her after her moments with her handsome admirer over there. Mitos could settle what happened to them before, but not now. Mitos could wait but she would
not let her new man wait for her. She doesn’t her handsome admirer to think that she had other admirers or
that she was already taken. He might not want to be with her anymore.
"Miss Love, if you can listen for a moment," the man begged. "It's really important…"
She got pissed off with the man’s persistence. Couldn’t he understand that she really doesn't want it?
“What’s so important about Mitos’ message? That he regrets what he did to me? That he wanted to apologize after all those years that he had forgotten about me? Was he gonna mess up my life?” Now the anger she harbored for Mitos has finally erupted. All the pain she thought she had forgotten had come back again. It was as if there was a dam of emotion inside her chest that had collapsed. “Is he still not happy with all the pains he has given me? Did I ever cross his mind even for a second, and ask himself if I was still alive? Why isn’t he here now to say whatever that important thing he wanted to say? Why couldn’t he face me? Was he really a coward?”
Mitos no longer mattered to her. She doesn't want to hurt anymore. She wanted something new in her life now.
"Something happened to Mitos…"
She clenched the flower with her hand. She didn't want to hear anything about that cheat and she didn't want to hear any more lies from this man.
Before she could stop herself, she had thrown the bouquet at him.
"Shut up!" Lovelllia yelled.
The man was hit by the bouquet on the chest. The man stepped away when the flowers landed on his feet.
“I don’t care what happened to him. He never cared what happened to me these past years. I'm okay even without him. May he have a little mercy on me. Was he still not satisfied with all the pains he had given me? Does he want me to suffer more? When he comes back, can he still fix everything that happened in my life? Will he be able to pay for the pain I have suffered because of him?”
