Chapter 11 Sing for me again

"Boyfriend?" She gave out a hollowed laugh. “Not for me. No man would want or like someone like me.”
Her debt was knee-deep. He even had to pretend to be blind just to escape being in trouble with the people whom her father owed money to. Even if she was not really blind, what kind of man in his right mind would take on the responsibility left by her father?
“You are pretty. You just don't have eyesight, but you seem kind. ”
"And I also look silly," she said with a laugh.
The men who showed interest in her thought she would accept them immediately just because she was blind.
She learned a bitter lesson. The only man she ever loved has forgotten about her even when everything was still normal in her life. Despite the good things she did for him, he never looked back. Never returned.
She had endured that for a long time. She waited for him, hoping he would come back.
And that would never happen again. No man would ever make her look like a fool again. She didn’t want any more trouble and heartache.
“Nah! I think you are witty and you have a great voice. ”
Lovellia smiled as she remembered him requesting a song to her and giving her a huge tip. "Sir, you must give me a big tip, okay?” she said jokingly.
“Sure. And I'll be back here. I will even recommend you to some of my friends. ”
"Thank you!" She remembered him requesting for her services earlier. "Sir, who recommended me to you?"
“Ah…. Marvin. My friend."
"Marvin?" She couldn’t remember any client named Marvin. Ah, well, whatever. It doesn't matter anymore.
The important thing was that her client was happy with the services she provided. “Just come back again,
Sir, and I will sing for you again. ”
He gave her a big tip after their massage session. “That’s just for you, okay? And I hope you will sing
for me again.”
She looked at how much he had given her. One thousand. And that was just a tip. She really got lucky with this particular customer.
Great to tipper. With a great body.
She imagined having her gaze roamed down the lower part of his body. Was he also big ‘there’…
She covered her mouth and giggled. That’s for her to know…and for her to find out as well.
“KULAS, if you could only see him, you would be really thrilled. His smile is beautiful. And those muscles…so good to squeeze those, I swear.”
Love was looking like a crazy person now as she remembered her handsome client earlier. Her cousin Kulas picked her up at the massage parlor. It was already past two in the morning when they closed. She was tired but it was okay because she had a few more customers who gave her quite a good tip.
“Ate, (big sister) are you okay? Where is the golden advice you always told me about professionalism?” Kulas asked. They are on the bus going home. There were hardly any passengers on the bus so they could talk however they wanted.
“I'm done with work anyway so I’m excused to be thrilled like this. Also, I’m not a stump, okay? What can I do if that client of mine is really handsome and full of charms?”
She was also wondering why that man had such an effect on her. She just couldn’t take him off her mind. And she seemed to be pumped with adrenaline everytime she thought about him, she felt giddy like a teenage girl on seeing her major crush.
"You’re such a flirt!" Kulas pointed at her. "You just saw a naked body and you already lost your mind."
She waved his finger away. “And why are you pointing at me like that? I’m still older than you. Have some respect.)
“Because you’re such a flirt, Ate. You need to go back to reality. You almost got busted for not being real blind. And you also mentioned that he was like following you? You saw him earlier at the mall. And then he specifically asked you to be his masseuse.” Kulas’ eyes widened. "Could he be a stalker?"
She was stunned. There was such a handsome stalker? “He was an admirer then, not a stalker.”
“What if he’s psycho? Or a rapist?”
She touched both her cheeks. “He’s too handsome to be a rapist. Anyway, I'm just here for him with open arms. He doesn't have to force me.”
Oh, my goodness. She must really be crazy now. If she had not restrained himself earlier, she might have attacked him while he was naked. He was really doing something with her libido.
"Ate, what if he turned out to be a member of the syndicate your father owed something to?"
“With that kind of face? Impossible!”
She had already seen the designated collectors of the syndicate. They looked like their faces were cracked. While that man earlier, he had the perfect face just like an angel. There was not a single blemish on his face. He had only tiny scars that he got from the accident he got involved in the past.
“Don’t be so sure. You know that many members of the syndicate are interested in you. If you were not blind, they probably would have taken you a long time ago.”
She had a sour smile when she remembered those ugly faces of the members of that syndicate group. They all looked like perverts. That was why she continued to pretend to be blind so she could escape from their interest.
“No! That handsome man was not one of those ugly goons. I feel like he was a decent man. He seems to be able to travel abroad. He also gave me a big tip.”
Kulas’ eyes were shining. "Handsome and rich?"
“Yes. He has no wife and no girlfriend.”
He rubbed his palms against each other. "What's his name, Ate?"
The sparkle in her eyes disappeared. "I don't know."
Kulas crossed his arms over his chest. “Ate, you’re a bit dumb, aren’t you? Before you lust over his body, you could at least know his name first, you know.”
“I'll just ask next time. He said he would come back anyway.”
