“----Hello? You still there, Julia?” she heard her brother's voice again from the other line.
Julia wildly shook her head, as if she's shaking all her thought of the past. But one thing is for sure, she felt a twinge of pain as she remembered someone from the past.
"Oh, I have to go back to work, James. I'll call you back later, okay?" she abruptly changes the topic.
"Alright, see you soon, sis." James replied.
Julia ended the call, while feeling guilty. She wanted to talk to James more, but she feels like she's not yet ready to talk about what happened 12 years ago.
But part of her mind says that she shouldn't dwell too much on her past because she has to face her future with  sighed. She has to face the future with David. She needs live at the present time, and prepare for the future.
Once she regains her composure, she decided to send a text message to her boyfriend.
"I'll be down in 10 mins..." she sent a message to David.
After a few minutes, Julia stood up, slung her bag on her shoulder, and quickly made her way towards the elevator to meet up with David who's already waiting for her at the lobby...

It was a normal office day for the Creative Department of the Montserrat Advertising company.
Julia is now feeling restless because this is a very important day for her. This is the day wherein she's going to present her storyboard to their client.
"Don't be too nervous, Julia. Everything's going to be okay." David tries to comfort her.
"I hope the client will like my proposal..." Julia nervously stated.
David held her hand tightly, as he gives her a reassuring smile.
"Whatever happens, I believe in you, babe. I actually have an idea... Let's make a deal." he suddenly grabbed something from his pocket and showed it to Julia.
Julia wasn't able to speak when she saw a royal blue small case on David's hand. It's obvious what was inside the case...
"If the client signs the contract after your presentation, you will have to accept my marriage proposal. If not, well, this thing will have to wait until you sign a contract with another client..." David gave her a challenge.
"I really don't know what to say." Julia anxiously responded.
"You don't have to say anything else. Just do your best and bring home the bacon." David stated, as he playfully winks at her.
Julia just nodded in return. She's overwhelmed with so many feelings right now. There's a part of her brain which is telling her to be happy because David is finally proposing marriage to her, but at the corner of her mind, something is telling her that she shouldn't be with him.
But this is not the time to think about her personal life. The most important thing right now is to do her best with the presentation because her promotion and her future career depends on it. 
With shaking legs, she forces herself to stand up and she's now making her way to the Conference Room to start with her presentation...

After an hour.
"So, what do you think?" David asked their client after Julia finished her presentation.
Julia held her breath in suspense while waiting for their client's feedback. Their clients are from a non-government organization who's known for helping out-of-school youths that are residing in the mountains. One of their very important client is a well-known philanthropist, and he asked their advertising company to make a tv ad that focuses on out-of-school children...
The client became really quiet while reading the folder with the proposal printed on it. Afterwards, the old man started drumming his fingers on the table, and it's obvious that he's in derp thought.
After long, agonizing minutes of silence, the old philanthropist focused hos attention on them again.
"When can you start shooting the commercial?" he smilingly asks them.
Julia and David's faces brightens, after they heard their client.
 
"We can start next week." David immediately relies.
"Alright, then. We can start with the process, and the earlier we start, the better. And by the way, I'll be sending someone from the foundation to observe your work, would that be okay?" the old man relayed.
"No problem, Sir." Julia nodded in return.
Julia and David exchanged glances with each other, as they finally heaved a sigh of relief...

Julia and David are standing infront of the elevator, while waiting for the doors to open.
They are going to their favorite restaurant for lunch, and to also have a mini-celebration for the successful contract signing.
"You finally did it, Julia! I'm so proud of you." David happily congratulated her.
"Thank you for always supporting me, David."Julia sincerely thanked David.
The elevator door finally opens. They both went inside, and as the elevator is making its way down, David suddenly pulls something from his pocket.
"Remember our deal this morning, Julia?" David suddenly asks Julia, as he opens the small blue-velvet box.
"David, I---!" Julia wasn't able to finish her sentence when David suddenly bended on one knee...
“I'll go straight to the point, Julia... Will you marry me?" David finally pops the question. 
They didn't notice that the elevator door finally opens, and there were many people watching their every move...
"---Please say yes! You'll both look so good together as a husband and wife!" one of the female passenger encourages Julia.
"----If I were you girl, I would say yes to this gorgeous man in a heartbeat!' added the other woman.
The rest of the people all nodded in agreement.
"I will not stand here not until you say yes, babe." David spoke again.
Julia took a deep, calming breath to regain her composure. Then afterwards, she looks at David straight into his eyes...
 
"Yes, I will marry you, David Montserrat..." she finally said yes to David's proposal.
All of the people started clapping, as David slips the diamond engagement ring to her finger...
