Chapter Fifty-Five: Now and Forever

Julia is standing infront of the church as she waits for the staff church to give her a go signal to walk into the aisle. Today is her wedding day, and she can't wait to get married to her first love, present love, and her greatest love...
Julia is standing with her father, and she's holding her father's arm.
One of the church staff gave them a go signal and the big church door suddenly opens.
"Are you ready, dear?" her father asked her, while gently smiling at her.
"I've been ready for this almost half of my life, Daddy..." Julia smilingly stated.
Julia and her father are now walking at the aisle side by side, while the piano version of John Denver's Annie's Song is being played. son to the altar.
Everyone at the church gasped in admiration as Julia started walking down the aisle. She could see her highschool friends smiling at her. She can also see her co-workers waving at her.
She's also  happy to see David at one of the seats, and he mouthed the word "Congratulations" to her. She mouth the words "Thank you" towards his direction, and she continues to walk with her father.
Julia's heart went out for het brother when he saw his face getting all red and getting teary-eyed. She mouth the words "I love you" to him, and he did the same thing as well.
Julia didn't realize that she's already infront of the altar. She saw Van shaking hands with her father, then afterwards, Van lovingly held her hand and escorted her towards the main altar.
"You look like a dream, sweetheart. I love you so much." Van lovingly whispers at her.
"I love you too, darling. Always and forever." Julia whispers back to her future husband.
Van and Julia walked together, hand in hand towards the main altar. After a few minutes, the priest finally started the wedding ceremony...
=========================
After a few hours.
Everyone is having a good time at David and Julia's wedding reception. The newly-wed couple are now listening at one of the speeches given by one of their principal sponsors.
It is now James' turn to give the new husband and wife  a congratulatory message.
"Congratulations to my baby sister, Julia, and my best buddy and her new husband, Van. I am over the moon because of so much happiness, and I am praying, hoping and wishing that you'll live a long, healthy and happy life us husband and wife. I've witnessed on how you became friends, how your love for each other grew, and how did you overcome the pain and the intense heartbreak. But after so many years, here you are right now. You're both officially husband and wife.  You know very well ho how much we love you guys. We wish you nothing but the best and we're waiting for little David and little Julia to come into our lives. Don't make us wait for too long, alright?  I love you both. Congratulations once again..." James finally ended his speech.
Julia felt her husband's hand on her hand, as they lovingly smiled at each other.
"Do you think it's time for us to play cupid and find a potential wife to your brother?" James suddenly whispered at her, and there was a hint of amusement on her voice.
"I think so, too. It's time for him to get the love that he deserves." Julia nodded in agreement.
"I still couldn't believe that we're finally married now. We've been separated from each other for eight years because of a big lie, and we were given a chance to be back in each other arms, and now, here we are." Van wistfully remembers their past.
"Fate and destiny really bought us together, my love. We've come a long way, and many things have happened. But in the end, we still found our way back to each other." relayed Julia.
"So what do you think of an idea of having a mini-me and mini-Julia? It's not a bad idea, isn't it?" Van suddenly suggested, while giving his wife a playful wink.
"I actually like that. My parents have been talking non-stop about having grandchildren. And it might not be obvious, but James is secretly looking forward on having a nephew or niece." Julia smiled.
"Oh no!" Van suddenly blurted out, and he looks a bit worried.
Julia's brows met in a curious frown while looking at her husband's worried face.
"Why? What's wrong?" she asks him.
"What if our future son or daughter becomes James' mini-me?" Van suddenly enunciated.
"That's going to be real trouble!" Julia jokingly exclaimed.
Van and Julia looked at James' direction, who's clearly having an enjoyable chat with one of Julia's co-worker, who is also invited at the wedding. They both smiled because it was obvious that James is smitten with the female guest, and they both look great as a couple.
"Well, well, well... What do we have here..." Van wondered aloud, while grinning from ear to ear.
"We might be hearing some wedding bells soon." Julia smilingly added.
"But on a serious note, honey, I'm looking forward on starting a life with you as your husband. I promise to be a loyal, faithful and loving husband." Van promised to his wife.
"And I'm yours, forever." Julia said in return.
The new husband and wife shared a kiss, as they look forward to the next day...
