The three of them continues on having an enjoyable chat, but it was interrupted because Kei's mobile phone suddenly rang.
He answers the call rightaway when he realized that his Manager is calling him.
"Yes, Shin?" he said.
"Where are you, Kei?" Shin asked from the other line.
"I'm at the Angel Voices Orphanage. Why? Is there something wrong?" Kei asked back.
"In case you forgot, you have an interview with two magazines." Shin reminded him.
Kei quickly checks his wristwatch and groaned inwardly when he checked the time.
"Oh, no..."
"Is there any problem?" Mariya can't help it but to ask.
"I'm sorry but I have to go. I've got work to do but I'll be back in a couple of days to visit Angel Voices again." Kei said, while looking apologetic.
After saying goodbye to the children, Kei quickly gets inside his car. He started driving away, but he steal glances at the side mirror to look at Mariya who was waving goodbye with the other children.
He can't really explain why, but there's something about Mariya that made him feel this instinct to protect her and take care of her...
Kei shook his head wildly, as if shaking all of those thoughts. This is not the right time to think about Mariya. He should focus at work first because they're going to have a very important interview today from one of the most popular international magazine that could help them promote their upcoming single and album...

After so many hours.
The magazine shoot and the interview went on smoothly without any problems.
Once they finally said goodbye to the staff and crew of the magazine, Kei quickly opens his bag and pulled his mobile phone to call Aunt Francia and check Uncle Onodera's health condition.
After a few minutes, Kei heaved a sigh of relief when he heard from Aunt Francia that Uncle Onodera is doing just fine, amd the doctor just needs to carefully monitor his heart condition.
He promised the two of them that he will visit the hospital early in the morning tomorrow, as he doesn't have any schedule for that day. He's looking forward to spend more time with them...

At the same time...
Once the call with Kei has ended, Onodera suddenly spoke.
 
"I'm running out of time, Francia. I really wish that Kei agrees to marry Mariya before I can finally say goodbye and rest. Oh, did I already tell you that I was able to talk to Mariya over the phone before I got hospitalized. I was planning to talk to you, and Mariya accidentally answered the call. I couldn't really say much like "I am your father" "I miss you" or "I love you." But I was so happy just hearing her voice..." the old man said, while getting teary-eyed.
Francia sadly caresses her husband's hair. She tries her best to let out a smile even though deep inside, she hurting to see him suffering like this.
"I'm telling you right now, you still have a long life ahead of you. You still have many chances to talk to your daughter, that's why you have to recover soon."  she gently told him.
"Promise me you'll take care of Mariya like your very own daughter, Francia. Please, I am begging you." her husband pleaded.
"I promise you, with all my heart. For now, you have to sleep and regain your energy for your next check up with the doctor, okay?" Francia tenderly said to her husband.
"Thank you for everything, darling..."
Her husband slowly closes his eyes, and after a few minutes, he fell into a deep sleep.
Meanwhile, Francia was silently crying on the bedside.
"Mariya and I still needs you, darling. Don't go anywhere yet..." she whispers, as she silently wept...

Kei ran like a madman as he is dashing through the hospital's hallway where Uncle Onodera is confined.
He received an emergency call from Aunt Francia, and she told him that the old man's condition has worsened due to the complications on his heart.
He is now transferred to the Intensive Care Unit for observation. Uncle Onodera needs to have an open heart surgery as soon as possible, but he's still on a waiting list for heart donor recipients...
Kei saw Uncle Onodera sleeping, with all of the tubes in every parts of his body. Aunt Francia is at the bedside, holding his hand while watching over him.
"Auntie Francia." he said, in a whisper.
The old woman looks up, and she tries her best not to cry out loud.
"Kei... You're Uncle is in a very critical condition. The doctor said he needs to undergo open heart surgery or else... I am not yet ready to lose him!" Aunt Francia tearfully stated.
"Everything will be fine, Auntie. I'm sure we'll find a donor soon." Kei tries to comfort the old woman.
"I hope so, son. I would do anything and everything just to make him well again." the old woman nodded.
Kei helplessly lets out a weary sigh while looki ng at his Uncle. He feels so useless because he can't really help him at a time like this...

Mariya is busy watering the plants with the other children at the orphanage. It was a bright and beautiful morning, and this is the perfect time for them to water the flowers and their vegetable garden.
While the children are having fun with their activities, Mariya's mind suddenly travels to the past. She can still remember her short conversation with Kei at the garden few days ago...
Her heart started beating like crazy again when she remembers that moment.
"I wonder when can I see him again?" Mariya wondered to herself.
"---Maria!"
Mariya snaps out from her reverie when she heard Mia's voice behind her.
"Yes, Mia?" she curiously asks her.
"You've got a call from none other than your prince charming." Mia informs her, in a teasing tone.
Mariya feels like her heart is going to jump out from her ribcage because of so much excitement when she heard that Kei is calling her!
"Thank you, Mia!"
And before Mia could say anything else, Mariya quickly runs inside to answer Kei's call.
"Hmm... No one can deny it. That's the look of a woman in love." Mia smilingly whispers.
Afterwards, Mia decided to hel the children water their garden...

"Hello, Kei? Sorry for making you wait. I was actually watering the garden with the children." Mariya quickly answers the call.
"It's alright, Mariya. Anyway, please be ready because I'm going to pick you up in a few minutes." Kei informed her from the other line.
Mariya thoughtfully frowned when she heard him. 
 "Uh, may I ask why? And where are we going?"
 
"I'll tell you all about it later. But for the meantime, get ready. I'll be there in 15 minutes..." relayed Kei.
When the call ended, Mariya is feeling confused with Kei's sudden request. Did something happened? And where are they going?
Since Kei is going to arrive in fifteen minutes, Mariya decided to go to her room and change into more presentable clothes...

Mariya is secretly watching Kei while he's silently driving. He just greeted her, and didn't say anything else while he's driving on the road.
She's afraid to ask questions because Kei looks really serious, so that's why she just decided to wait and see on where they are going.
After almost half an hour, Mariya's curiousity deepens when the car drives its way to a certain hospital.
"What are they going to do at a hospital?" Mariya secretly wonders to herself.
They are now walking at the hospital hallway, and Mariya is still unable to ask Kei some questions that are floating into her mind. 
They stopped at a certain hospital room, and before Kei could open it, he turned around and talked to her first.
"I apologize for informing you just now, but Mr. Takeshi Onodera, the founder and the owner of Angel Voices and Mrs. Francia's husband is in a critical state because of his complicated heart condition. They are both going to talk to you today, and I hope you can listen to them with an open mind." he gently informs her.
Mariya just nodded in return, as she's still confused on what is happening.
When Kei opens the door, her heart went out to Mr. Onodera who's looking so weak and he is obviously sick.
Aunt Francia looks so tired and weary as well, but she still warmly greeted them.
