Julia stops walking as she suddenly feels tired. She's been walking for a long time now, with no direction in mind. She looks up at the clear, blue sky while gasping for breath.
She then realized that she's in the middle of their subdivision's playground. She walks in one of the swings and sat there. She swung herself unto the swing while she's deep in thought.
She is not ready to give up her feeling towards Van. She's been in love with him for a very long time already, but she's willing to wait for him, and once their perfect timing comes, they'll be together again...

The day that Julia has been dreading to come has finally arrived. This is the day where her brother James and her first love Van will go to the Metropolitan city to study at prestigious University there.
Julia decided to lock herself in her room. She just lied to her parents that she's suffering from a migraine, and they seemed to believe her.
The truth is, she just doesn't want to see her brother and Van go... 
She's now standing by the window as she secretly watches them outside.
She saw her mother crying while their father comforted her. Her brother James, looks a bit sad as well, but she knows that he's looking forward to become a University student.
James started to put his suitcases at the trunk of the car. Her heart skips a beat when she saw Van looking up at her window. She quickly pulled the curtains and hid herself in the wall.
After a few minutes, she heard the sound of the engine. She bit herself to suppress herself from crying as she finally realized that she has to wait for a long time before she can see Van again...

After 4 years.
"One, two, three...Say cheese!"
Julia forced to smile in front of the camera while holding her high school diploma. After taking numerous shots, she roamed her eyes around the area.
"Don't worry, sweetheart. Your brother is coming. Maybe got stuck in the traffic." her mother reassures her.
She just nodded in response. She's really looking forward to see her brother again, and of course, Van.
Julia wants to share her happiness of graduating to her brother and Van. She's really excited to see them again, and she wants to show Van that she's not a child anymore, and she's becoming more mature.
Her thoughts stop in halt when she heard her father's voice.
"Oh, look! There's your brother!" he informs them.
Julia held her head in suspense as she slowly turns around to look at her brother... And Van.
"Congratulations, brat! You made it!" James greeted her warmly, while hugging her baby sister.
Julia also gave him a tight hug, but she's also curious because she couldn't see Van around...
"Well, it's time for a celebration! Just wait here and I'll get the car." their father said.
"I'll come with you, honey." their mother suggested. 
Julia's getting nervous because his brother looked so tense and worried.
What the heck is going on? And where's Van?

At a certain restaurant.
Julia doesn't have an appetite, so that's why she only ate a little amount of food. She wanted to ask her brother about Van, but she can't find the perfect timing to do so.
James is acting really strange today. He's more talkative than usual, and he just couldn't look at her straight in the eye. And she's absolutely sure that something is wrong...
Julia stood up and decided to go to the restroom.
"Excuse me, I'll just need to go to the comfort room." she excuses herself.
 
She then made her way towards the Women's Comfort room. After a few minutes, she came out and she was surprised to see her brother standing at the hallway.
"Julia... I need to tell you something." James began, with a serious look on his face.
"Is there something that I need to know, James?" Julia asked, as she getting herself ready for what she's about to hear from her older brother.
James took a deep, calming breath before he speaks again.
"I don't know if I should say this..."
"I know you don't want me to get hurt, but I still need to know about it." Julia insisted.
"There's no use waiting for Van. He eloped with his girlfriend because she's pregnant. Since then, I've lost communication with him." James said it all in one breath.
James and Julia became silent. James is getting more and more worried for his younger sister.
At the same time, Julia feels like her chest has been shot by an arrow. She's in deep pain right now, but she doesn't really know how to react.
In the end, James went towards his sister and gave her a comforting hug. Julia bit herself to suppress herself from crying...

After 8 years.
"How's the storyboard coming along?"
Julia almost fell from her swivel chair because of shock.
"David! You almost gave me a heart attack!" she reprimanded her boyfriend.
"I'm sorry, babe. By the way, here's your coffee." David places a cup of her favorite macchiato on her table.
"Hmm... It smells so good. Thanks, babe!" Julia smilingly thanks him.
David started looking at the storyboard that Julia has been working for a few days now.
"This looks good. Is it almost finished?" he asked Julia.
"Yeah. I think I'll be able to finish it by the end of the week." Julia replied.
She took up Advertising course and she was just a fresh graduate from a middle-class University. Due to her being Cum Laude, she was immediately accepted by an advertising company. And there she also met David Monserratt, a young and successful CEO of the company she works for. And they've been a couple for two years now.
David and Julia's conversation suddenly got cut off when her mobile phone rang. She smiled when she saw her brother's name on the caller screen.
"Please excuse me, babe. I'll just answer this call." she excuses herself.
"Alright, babe. I'll see you later." David smilingly nodded in return. 
"Hello, James?" Julia finally answered the call. 
"Hey, 'lil sis! Are you busy today?" James asked from the other line.
 
"Yeah. I'm kinda buried with all of the paper works." Julia responded.
"Okay. If that's the case, I'm gonna go straight to the point. I'll be coming back home next week. The company gave me a paid vacation, but don't say anything to Mom and Dad yet, is that clear?" her brother instructed.
"Don't worry, my lips is sealed." Julia reassures James.
"We have lots of things to talk about, sis. Most specifically, we need to talk. about your boyfriend." 
Julia helplessly sighed. It's clearly obvious that her brother doesn't approve of her boyfriend yet.
"James, he's not just my boyfriend, and he has a name. His name is David." she gently reprimanded him.
“I will only call him by his name when we meet in person. So get ready." her brother replied, in a serious tone.
"James ,I'm not fourteen years old anymore-----" Julia's mind suddenly went to the past, to the time when she was only fourteen years old...
