"Can you tell me more about your parents? I mean, tell me about your childhood with them, and how are they as your father and mother?" Clarissa asked.
"Well, growing up with a father like Michael Montserrat can be quite exciting and a bit suffocating. When I was a child, he was such a dedicated father. He makes sure that he spends time with me studying and watching ny favorite television show until I fall asleep. During the weekends, he makes sure that there's always a family day. We usually go to the park to have a picnic, go to amusement parks and try all the rides, and go and eat to our favorite fastfood restaurants." Michele relayed his childhood memories.
"That's a very nice and warm memory. How about your mother?" Clarissa asked more question.
"My mother balances her time really well. She can effectively divide her time being a wife, a mother and a socialite. However, she's not really good at expressing her opinions, especially towards my father. She believes that the father is always the head of the family and the household, and she should be a submissive wife." Michele explained.
"But looking at you now, I think she raised you well." Clarissa tries to console her boyfriend.
"I think so, too. You see, I had a simple, normal and loving family, but everything has changed when my father joined a Mafia organized group, and when he finally became the head of "La Famiglia" which is infamously known as the "Godfather." Michele continues retelling his family background.
"Have you tried talking to your father and mother?" 
Michele nodded before he speaks again.
"Yes, I did. Many times. But my father won't listen to me. He will still wants me to become the Godfather and be the leader of the La Famiglia. And he has high hopes on me, Clarissa. He will do everything and anything within his power to make his vision come true, and he will destroy the people who comes his way. That's why I'm worried about you. He thinks that you are hindering all of his plans and maybe he will pull some strings. But you don't have to worry a thing. I promise I will protect and shield you from my father in any way that I can." Michele seriously made a promise, as he plants a kiss on Clarissa's forehead.
"He's still your father and you're still his son. Maybe you're just overthinking. I still believe in the saying that "blood is thicker than water." Clarissa stated.
"But it's different with my family's case. Anyway, let's stop talking about this, okay? I want you to look ahead, I have a surprise for you." Michele immediately changes the topic as he doesn't want to spoil their mood and date.
Clarissa squinted her eyes as she stares ahead. She can see a bonfire and there was a table with some flowers and candles. There was also a long table which has different food containers and she can see a man holding a violin...
Her heart starts to melt when she realized that Michele prepared a special and romantic dinner date for her.
"Oh, Michele! How could you be so romantic?" she gushes at her boyfriend.
"I'm so glad you liked it, sweetheart. All I want is for you to be happy... Always." Michele lovingly stared at Clarissa.
The lovebirds started walking towards their dinner table hand in hand. Michele decided not to say any more about his family, as he doesn't want to scare Clarissa.

Celeste stops her Audi at a certain seaport. This is the place where she's going to meet the private investigator that she hired to do a background check on Michele Montserrat's new woman.
She steps out from her vehicle and walked towards a man who's having a smoke.
"Did you have a complete investigation on that woman?" Celeste instantly asks.
"Yes, Madam Celeste. This folder has got all the information that you're looking for." the private investigator replied, in a confident manner.
"Good. Here's what we agreed on. And don't you dare tell anyone that I asked for your services. Just keep your mouth shut or else your lifeless body will be floating at this port." Celeste said, in a casual tone.
The Private Investigator grinned from ear to ear as soon as Celeste gave him a thick brown envelope. Based on how thick the envelope is, he doesn't need to work for half a year.
"Crystal clear, Madam. It was nice doing business with you and we won't see each other again." he reassures his client.
After a few minutes, the Private Investigator went to his old-looking car and drove away. Once he is out of sight, Celeste went to her own vehicle and sat at the passenger's seat. Afterwards, she opened the envelope and started reading some information about Clarissa...
She found out that Clarissa grew up in an orphanage, without even knowing her father and mother. She worked hard by doing double to triple jobs just to support her studies, herself, and the children at the orphanage.
Clarissa is currently working at a certain convenience store and that's where she and Michele met. According to the interview conducted by the private investigator at one of Clarissa's colleague, it has been said that Michele came to the convenience store one night as he is suffering from the negative effects of his diabetes disease. Clarissa helped him by giving him candy because he has very low sugar levels, and at the end, she saved him.
And just like a sappy, old romance movie, Michele stupidly fell inlove with the woman, and he completely forgot that he is supposed to get married with her.
But she's Celeste Vitale, and "giving up" is not in her vocabulary. She needs to make a plan before she talks to Clarissa. She needs to convince her that Michele is not the one for her, and she would ask her to give up on him.
