"You know very well on why I came here to talk to you." Michele Montserrat's started with his agenda rightaway.
"Yes, sir. Please allow me to explain that I didn't try to convince Michele on anything. Everything he decided on, he mainly concluded them all by himself." Clarissa explained her side.
Michael nodded in return.
"Yes, I understand that. My son has this characteristic of being stubborn, and I can admit that he got it from me. I am perfectly aware that Michele decided everything all by himself, and he's not easily influenced by other people. However..."
Clarissa held her breath in suspense as she waited for the old man to speak again.
"But your presence has a great influence and impact towards my son. His feelings for you--whatever you call it, has got something to do with all of his decisions. Which made our relationship as a father and son very problematic." Michael's jaw clenched, as he tries his best to control his emotions.
"I am truly sorry, Mr. Montserrat, but have you tried to talk to Michele? He wants to live a life he has been dreaming of, and please give him a chance to tell his dreams to you." Clarissa politely persuaded him.
"Dreaming can only make a person weak, which makes him or her a vulnerable target in this harsh world. He has to be strong, never entertain any emotions that can weaken his resolve, or else, he wouldn't be able to survive. And that's what I'm concerned about. Because of you, my son might be in danger."  Michael reiterated, as he gets more and more serious.
Clarissa's nervousness rose a notch when she heard that Michele might be in an imminent danger.
"What kind of danger is he in, Sir?"
"Oh, you wouldn't even imagine it. But the main point is, if you want Michele to be safe and to live a life without any danger, then you should start thinking on how you'll be able to protect him, if you genuinely love him." pronounced the old man.
"I-I really don't know what to say, Sir..." that's all Clarissa has said, as she is deeply confused about the situation.
"Think about it. You look like you're a smart lady, and I know you'll make the right decision regarding my son." Michele Montserrat made his final statement, the afterwards, he bid goodbye to Clarissa, and made his way out from the convenience store.
Meanwhile, Clarissa's legs suddenly felt weak, and she slowly sat at the nearest chair. Her mind is thinking about Michele. His father clearly told her that he might be facing some danger because of his relationship with him.
She loves him so much that she is willing to sacrifice her own happiness just to make sure that Michele is safe, and nothing and no one will hurt him.
What she's going to do might leave her deeply heartbroken, she has to do something for the man that she profoundly loves...
She has to do this.

Celeste is currently having a dinner feast with her father, Carlo Vitale, who's the head of the Vitale Clan.
"I've been busy doing business trips for the passed few weeks, and I wasn't able to have a bonding time with you lately. How have you been, my princess?" Carlo affectionately asks his one and only child.
"It's alright, Daddy. I know that you need to do what is needed. Anyway, you're here now, we're having a lovely dinner, you just gave me all the jewelries and clothes that I've been asking you to buy for me... Thank you so much for everything." Celeste smilingly said to her father.
"Anything for you, my princess." Carlo told his daughter.
"Daddy, I have another favor to ask you and I hope you'd say yes." Celeste suddenly opens up.
"Sure, what is it?"
Celeste cleared her throat by drinking a glass of wine, then afterwards, she started to speak again.
'Daddy, I would like to momentarily go back to our hometown in Italy." she suddenly announces.
Carlo was taken by surprise with his daughter's sudden announcement.
"May I ask why would you like to go back to Italy?" he gently asks her.
"Well, I want to know our family deeper. I was born and raised here in America, and I suddenly realized that I don't have much knowledge when it comes to my paternal and maternal family back in Italy. I want to know our family's culture and tradition. I want to go back to our roots, Daddy." Celeste told him the reason why she made her decision.
Carlo nodded in agreement, as his daughter's reason makes sense and it's absolutely valid. And he approves of Celeste's decision.
"That's such a great idea, Chele. But I thought you are looking forward on announcing your engagement to the whole La Famiglia clan? I thought you are getting ready for your wedding with Michele?"
Celeste lets out a smile, but it didn't reach her eyes.
"I should have told you about this a long time ago, Daddy. I don't want to continue my engagement and my wedding plans with Michele. I'm calling it off." Celeste has already made his decision a long time ago, eversince she had a serious talk with Michele and Clarissa back at the orphanage.
She is willing to let Michele go, as she wants her to be happy with the woman he loves...
"But why? I mean, was it a mutual decision between you and Michele?" Carlo asked his daughter once again.
"Yes, it was. I think you're already aware that my life revolved around him, and I forgot to think about myself. And now, I've decided to reflect on everything, know more about my roots, and love myself more than anything else." Celeste sincerely revealed her feelings.
Carlo lets out a deep sigh afterwards. His daughter is one hell of a strong, independent woman, and he can confidently say that she got all those traits from her mother, who sadly passed away when Celeste was just eight years old...
"If that's what you want, go ahead and spread your wings. Just always remember that I'll always be here for you, and I will be waiting for you once you're ready to come back home." Carlo finally gave his permission to his daughter.
 Celeste smiles in return, while clasping her father s hand.
"Thank you so much, Daddy."
Carlo just smiled at her one and only princess. But something else is going on his mind. He somehow knows the real reason on why Celeste is acting like this, but he just decided to keep his mouth shut. 
And as a father, he couldn't just stand at the corner and watch his daughter suffer like this.
He will not let anyone else trample on, or hurt his Celeste...
