Kent extended his hand towards Nathaniel for a handshake.
"Nice to meet you, Nathaniel." Kent was the first one to speak.
"Likewise, Daniel." Kent said in return, as he shook Daniel's hand.
"Great! Please take a seat, guys. I'll just ask someone to get us some drinks and snacks." Michaela smilingly informs them.
Unbeknownst to her, Kent and Daniel are staring at each other straight in the eye, as they see each other as rivals when it comes to Michaela's love and attention.

"Are you aware that Daniel and Kent are inlove with you?" Sally suddenly asked Michaela a million-dollar question.
Michaela called Sally and begged her to have a sleepover at her house. She really needs someone to talk to at this critical time.
Few hours ago, Kent asked her to meet him at the Waldorf University rooftop. After all of their classes, they both met up at the rooftop.
Michaela had a surprise of her life when Kent suddenly confessed his feelings to her...
*FLASHBACK*
"I'll go straight to the point, Michaela. I'm hopelessly and helplessly inlove with you. I don't know when and how did it happen, but I'm 100% sure of my feelings for you... How about you, Michaela? What do you feel for me?" Kent said it all in one breath.
Michaela froze when she heard Kent's confession. She was not expecting this kind of scenario at all. She never thought that the "Golden Boy" of Waldorf University is inlove with a plain and nerd girl jus like her.
"But why me? I mean, there are many girls out there who's popular and prettier compared to me." Michaela suddenly blurted out.
"You're so much different to them. You're beautiful inside and out. You're the realest person I've ever met. I can be comfortable and relaxed with you. But the most important thing is my heart always longs for you, and I am absolutely sure that I'm inlove with you..." Kent poured out all of his feelings towards Michaela.
"To be honest, I really don't know what to say, Kent." Michaela said, in a confused manner.
"Well, you don't have to answer me rightaway. I am willing to wait until you're ready to answer. Unless..." Kent's voice suddenly faltered.
Michaela's eyebrows met in a frown.
"Unless what?" she paparotted.
Kent took a deep breath before he speaks again.
"Unless, you're in a relationship with Daniel." he stated.
"Daniel? Oh, we're actually friends." Michaela. tries to correct him.
"Look, I'm not being the antagonist here but I don't think Daniel sees you as a simple friend. I'm also a guy, and I know that he feels something special about you." Kent enunciated.
Michaela just lets out a helpless sigh.
"I just want to play fair. I can't stop Daniel to fall inlove and romantically pursue you, and he won't be able to stop me, either. In the end, it will be your decision, and I promise that I will respect whatever you have decided on." Kent seriously stated.
"And I appreciate you being fair, Kent. Please give me some time to think about it, okay?" Michaela asks for more time.
"Of course. And just like what I told you before, I am willing to wait." Kent reassures her.
"Hello, calling Michaela Montserrat back to earth!"
Michaela stops going down the memory lane when she heard her best friend's voice again.
"I'm sorry, what were you saying again?" she asked, while looking apologetic. 
"You're very much aware from the start that Daniel and Kent are inlove, right?" Sally repeated her question.
Michaela nodded as an answer.
"Yes. I didn't tell you about this, but after our high school reunion,Daniel confessed that he wants to romantically pursue me. And this afternoon, Kent and I had a talk at the rooftop and told me that he's inlove with me." she revealed.
"Oh, wow. The way you said it sounds like a sappy romantic movie!" Sally jokingly stated.
"Yes, but I don't want it to be like a romantic sappy old movies that we used to watch. This is the first time that two guys confessed their feelings to me!" Michaela cajoled.
"Okay, let's think about it deeply and seriously... So, after Daniel confessed to you, how did you react?" Sally suddenly became serious.
"I said, I need some think to think about it." Michaela immediately answers.
"And what about Kent? What did you say after he confess his feelings to you?" Sally did a follow-up question.
"I said the same thing." responded Michaela.
"Alright, then. So, what are you planning to do now?" Sally asked another question.
"To be honest, I don't have any plans to fall inlove and be in a romantic relationship as of the moment. I'm still enjoying my life as a single, College student and I'm currently satisfied with my life." Michaela finally revealed her true feelings.
"Are you 100% sure about that?" Sally just wanted to be sure.
Michaela looked at Sally straight in the eye.
"Yes, I am sure. There's no hesitations, no doubts at all."  she firmly answers, without thinking twice.
"And that's your answer to your problem. You're not mentally and emotionally ready to be in love and be in a relationship, so you oughta tell them exactly like that." Sally gave her a piece of advice.
"You know what, you're right. I don't want to hurt Daniel and Kent, and I don't want to lead them on, either." Michaela nodded in agreement.
Michaela now understands everything. Her happiness doesn't just based on being in a relationship or having a boyfriend. Happiness for her is studying hard and to do well at school, hanging out and creating wonderful memories with her friends, and spending precious time with her parents
She will have a talk with Daniel and Kent and tell them what she really feels. She's crossing her fingers that nothing will change between them, and she's hoping that they will remain as friends.
Michaela's already happy and that's what all matters to her now...
