Light staring Blaire’s picture lasted for seconds. Then after he looked at me, while I just keep on holding him my phone where Blaire`s photo was displayed.
“Who`s that?” he asked.
I slowly pulled back my hand and weakly placed my phone beside me.
“That`s Blaire, she`s beautiful isn`t she?” I asked.
“Yeah. She`s beautiful.” Light shrugged.
I bitterly smiled and painfully cussed on my mind.
“What do you think about her?” I asked controlling my voice not to croak.
“Hmm?” Light confusedly asked. Probably he didn`t get my point.
“What`s your impression about her? Did you find her good? For yourself? Did you find her appealing? Sexually?” I sullenly asked.
“Love, what are you talking about?” chuckling, Light asked.
I looked away.
“You said she’s beautiful right?”
“Well, yeah. She’s beautiful but for me you are more beautiful. No one can beat your beauty,” he tenderly stated.
I tightly bit my lower lip and with all my strength, I fought that overwhelming feelings. And killed the butterflies inside my tummy who suddenly came up because of what he said earlier.
“Don`t enter me on our topic,” I ordered and go back asking him again about Blaire without looking at him.
“So, do you imagine yourself living with her?” I bitterly asked.
From my peripheral vision I saw Light knotted his forehead.
“What are you talking all about?” like earlier he got confused again.
“Just answer me,” I hissed.
Light took a deep then shook his head.
“Nope, I don’t see myself living with because I only see myself with you,” he softly said.
I fisted my hand and snorted.
Can you still say that if…I’ll tell you the truth?
I mentally asked.
“What’s going on, hmm?’’ he asked, pursing his eyebrows. Not getting what I’m asking all about.
I moved to looked at him.
“Listen,” I ordered.
Light nodded but lifted his hand to put my hair behind my ear.
I immediately leaned back to avoid his hand also avoiding my heart to beat loudly.
“Listen, and stop doing unnecessary move like that?!” I frustratingly hissed.
Light’s forehead knotted again because of what I said but when I glared at him, he immediately raised his hand and pursed his lips, surrendering.
“Wew! Your mood swing is kinda difficult to manage huh?” he stated.
“I said listen! Shut your mouth will you!!?” I exclaimed.
Light stopped and signed to zip his mouth that made me exhaled.
Finally relaxed, I opened my phone again and showed Blaire’s picture.
“This is Blaire Apasill, she`s my best friend. The sweetest person I ever met. She’s very sensitive in and out but if your trigger her demons, you would regret it for the rest of your life. She was an orphan and like me she didn’t know her parents. She’s very kind, caring, genuine, soft, and loving girl. Knows how to cook and clean. She also loves children, completely a house wife material. Her favorite color is pink and yellow. She loves sweet and spicy foods. She's afraid of cockroach and spider. She's taking up Business Administration, 22 years of age. Single and ready to mingle." To you. I almost added it but thankfully i stopped myself. It's not the time yet.
Light just keep on staring me that's why after a second of battling with his stares i immediately looked away because i can't aim to battle with his fiery stares.
Thankfully, minutes later Light moved to speak.
"I don't get it why you introduce your best friend to me when it should be yourself," he stated with a knotted forehead.
I looked down.
No. It shouldn't be me.
I'm just a mere matchmaker.
I took a deep breath sharply and attempted to open my mouth again for another fact about Blaire when Light held my jaw and let me face him.
Light's hand raised from my jaw to my face as soon as i face him.
Thousands of chills and overwhelming feelings gushed to my whole body to the point that I suddenly wanted to cry.
How i wish we're on the other situation. How i wish i'm really pregnant with his child and i'm not just a matchmaker.
But i know i should face this, in the first place i would never be in this situation if i just let my mind control me not my heart.
"Your mood swing is really different from others." Light chuckled.
His hand is now on my hair combing it.
"Why don't we go somewhere for you to relax, hmm?" he suggested.
I opened my mouth to voice out my disapproval but no words come out.
"Let's also buy clothes for our child. Though we still didn't know it's gender. But i know that's a boy," he added.
I difficultly cleared my throat but still i can't speak.
"Let's go?" he softly asked.
I shook my head to disagree since i don't have any strength to speak.
Light chuckled.
"No. Let's go," he stated in final and pulled me outside of my room in a tender way.
I immediately attempted to let go from his hold but the thought of going to the mall makes my mind relax.
So i just let him pull to his cat and directly hoped in as soon as we get near.
He's right, maybe I need it so that i could think clearer.
Going to the mall, we only took minutes because it's just meters away from my boarding house.
Light immediately go out from his seat to open the door on my side.
As soon as I go out, i immediately took a deep breath and wipe my thoughts away to relax.
Light's hand immediately creep towards mine.
I aimed to let go from it but he tightened his hold so i just sighed defeteadly and let him.
"Maybe let's eat first," he said and changed our direction from the mall to a known restaurant.
We're walking quietly, not until a voice of someone i didn't wished to hear knack my senses up.
