Luna Maurice received a call from the pack house early in the morning in the dining room.
"What? Murdered? How did that happen?" Luna Maurice's voice rose in shock.
"..."
"Damn it! Okay, I'm coming." After this remark, Luna Maurice ended the call.
"What murdered?" Bradley asked, while sipping his coffee.
"Adam found dead in his cage!" Luna Maurice uttered, her voice trembling with horror.
"He is lucky his death because he won't be able to taste my wrath," Bradley affirmed indifferently while remaining calm.
"Bradley, don't say that... Adam did terrible things; however, it's still not enough to wish his death..." Luna Maurice immediately contradicts Bradley's statement.
"Aunt Maurice, we almost lost Leila because of Adam's madness, so what do you expect me to feel knowing he was murdered?" Bradley retorted, while clenching his fists.
"Still—"
"—I'm furious! I should have killed him when I have a chance!" Bradley roared as he slammed the table.
"Bradley!" For the first time, Leila speaks up. "I should be one cursing at him, not you, since it's me who almost died on his hand..."
"Okay, enough — We don't need to argue because of him. He is dead, and his death has nothing to do with us." Luna Maurice retorted and stood up to clear the tension in the dining room.
When Luna Maurice left, Leila immediately pulled Bradley into a corner, away from Zeke." Tell me the truth... Did you kill Adam?" she whispered while her eyes widened.
Bradley leaned against the wall and brushed a strand of Leila's hair before answering. "No, I didn't kill him... I lost my chances."
Leila gave a doubtful look. "I know you left last night and came back this morning... So tell me, where did you go?"
Bradley signed and closed his eyes tightly. "I told you—I lost my chance last night. When I arrived at the cage, Adam was dead."
Leila's eyes widened, and she couldn't resist punching Bradley in the chest, causing him to growl. "I knew it! Your look last night told me you were up to no good, and my hunch did not fail me!" she retorted in disbelief.
"I'm not denying anything nor hiding my plan... Like I said last night, I would clean my territory—" Bradley sneered and gently pinched her nose.
“Is he crazy? Does he not know the gravity of the problem? If someone saw him last night—he will become the primary suspect!” Leila exclaimed in her mind.

In the middle of the day, the council arrived at the residence of the Silva, along with Ava, whose eyes were swollen from crying for a long time.
"Where is Alpha Bradley? He's a murderer! He killed my brother!" Ava roared as soon as she saw Leila in the living room.
“She is the girl I saw in the forest last time.” Leila murmured to herself as she recalled the scene she saw in the forest of Sapphire. "Take a seat, and please mind your words... Dont randomly accuse—"
Ava gaze remained sharp, but she sat on the couch with Head Council.
"Leila, call Bradley here." the head council said calmly. "Although he is the alpha, it is not enough for him to kill anyone. Sapphire is a pack that does not use violence, which is why killing is a great sin—"
"Really? As far as I know, Adam is no longer part of the pack. He is the cult leader that brings evil to the city..." Leila replied sullenly. "Do I need to include what he did to me?"
"Cult leader? It's just an accusation! You have no evidence to connect him with the group!" Ava roared and slammed the table. "What he did to you is not enough to kill him! You are alive and well!"
"Do you know what your brother did to her?" Bradley's cold and powerful voice roared; that's why everyone in the living room looked at the top of the stairs where he was standing.
"Alpha Bradley. You seem well for an injured person who almost died..." the head council commented with doubt.
Bradley sneered and went down the stairs without haste. "Why? Do you expect a patient who lies down and counts breathing until it stops?" he uttered with exasperation.
"Bradley! How could you kill Adam? He is your childhood friend! You grow up together! How could—"
Bradley looks at Ava. "Why do you think I didn't kill Adam on the day he almost murdered my woman?" his low and calm voice, but its threat can be heard. "Because killing him is a mercy! I want to torture him for the rest of my life!"
"Alpha Bradley—someone saw you last night. I'm afraid you need to come with us for the investigation." the head council responded while studying Bradley's appearance.
"So? Did this someone see me kill Adam?" Bradley sneered and sat next to Leila.
The head council did nothing because no one saw the incident. The only thing the witness saw was Bradley walking into the woods.
In the wake of that, what did you do in the Sapphire forest at the height of night? Ava asked.
"I went to the spring—do I need to explain why I need to go there in the middle of the night?" Bradley responded with the corner of his lips twisted because of the smirk.
"I don't believe it's just a coincidence! I know you're the culprit, and I will not stop—"
"Then don't stop!" Bradley roared, but this roar was not the reason everyone was silent... It was his eyes. For the first time, the head council felt the authority in him. "Head council, I'm not my father or Luna Maurice, who kneels easily. So this should serve as a warning to everyone because the next time you come to my house—you won't be able to get out alive."
Leila, who was the most nervous of the crowd, immediately grabbed Bradley's arm. "They are your ally, so there is no need for this chaos..."
"That's what I want to know... If these two are my ally or not—" Bradley's magenta-colored eyes glare at Ava and the head council.
"Don't use your alpha tone to them..." Leila whispered when she saw Ava and the Head council grimacing.
"Why not? Sometimes I need to exercise my power for them not to forget who is in power..." Bradley smirked, but returned his eyes to their original form.
Because of Bradley's authority, the head council was struggling to get out of Silva's house while Ava's body was still shaking. And not only that—Her wolf inside had run out of strength.
"I can't believe an alpha has power over his member's wolf! If Bradley uses this, no one will dare to fight him! Bradley Silva will rule the pack!" Ava retorted while gasping for air.
