“Mom!” Leila lets out a scream as she rushes forward to greet Luna Maurice.
“Leila! Thank you, and I’m glad to hear it!” Luna Maurice greeted her daughter with open arms as she arrived home.
“It’s okay. Since Alpha Connor is interested in my child, I do not have to worry about him hurting me... What about Zeke? Have you found him?” After a moment, Leila pulled away from the hug and turned her attention to Johnny, who had stopped beside them.
“Zeke is in excellent hands... He wanted to come, but we refused because we didn’t know what Alpha Connor’s plan was,“ Johnny responded with a half-smile.
“Alpha Connor is interested in my kid... He told me he would make me the Luna of the Paragon pack so he could have my baby! He is going to make himself a King Alpha with our help,” Leila explained the situation very well.
Luna Maurice did not respond as her gaze focused on the open door. Alpha Connor, armed with a grin, materialized from that location.
“Luna Maurice... Beta Johnny Zaragosa, it is wonderful to see you both.” Alpha Connor smiled and extended his greeting before looking at Leila. “It seems the lady here already explained everything. How about we go inside, and I will tell you the details of the deal I am offering,” he added with a gleam.
Luna Maurice nodded but didn’t speak, and neither did Johnny. They moved stealthily while keeping close behind Alpha Connor.
When they arrived at the receiving area, Alpha Connor went over the terms and conditions of the transaction.
While he was talking, he did not exhibit even the slightest bit of regret or shame. Confidence and certain knowledge are the only things that can be tracked down.
“You’re crazy! Your strategy will never have our support. Since Leila and her child are members of the Sapphire pack and not the Paragon pack, the city will continue to be Leila’s home.” Johnny bellowed as he slammed the table angrily.
“Ha Ha Ha! Do you not grasp the gravity of the situation?” Alpha Connor chuckled.
“We place a top priority on the Sapphire pack, but Leila and her child take precedence in that regard. Because of this—”
“—Mom, I’ve decided... I gave in so that we could avoid disaster.” Leila interrupted with Luna Maurice’s refusal.
The rest of the room was silent, but Luna Maurice and Leila did not break eye contact and continued to stare at each other, letting their looks do the talking.
“Are you sure that this is the case? Once he has brought you to the city of the Paragons —”
The knock on the floor brought an end to the conversation that had been going on.
“Alpha, it’s urgent... I’m going to come in—” Beta Morgan’s voice soared.

“A letter was delivered to us... It all has to do with Eunice —” Beta Morgan made his assertions before delivering the letter to Alpha Connor.

Leila turned to look at her mother and Johnny after hearing the name Bradley and seeing the anger on Alpha Connor’s face. However, both of them shook their heads, showing that neither of them had any idea what was contained in the letter. Leila then looked back at Alpha Connor.
“It would appear that your Alpha is aware of how to play with the cards he has...” Alpha Connor murmured with a grimace on his face. “However, this alone does not render my plan useless!”
“What do you mean?” Leila questioned, with a look of bewilderment.
“The cunning of Bradley never ceased to astound and amaze me... Imagine, he saw into my plan—”
“Put an end to this charade! What action did he take?” Leila let out a loud scream.
“He took Eunice from her home!” Alpha Connor declared while his eyes were emitting danger. He then turned to Beta Morgan after making this announcement. “Please show our guests to the room we have reserved for them... I just need to take care of one more thing —”
As soon as she realized what was happening, Leila stood up and blocked Alpha Connor... “What do you have in mind to do? You assure me that Bradley will be safe!”
“Since Bradley slept with my daughter, that promise is void!” Alpha Connor yelled out in excitement.
“No! No! Permit me to speak with Bradley; He will listen to what I have to say!” When Alpha Connor continued walking, Leila shifted her position to the side.
While this was going on, Beta Morgan confronted Johnny and Luna Maurice, who stood up and got ready for the potential chaos that was about to ensue.
“Since resistance won’t be of any use to either of you, I suggest you come to me peacefully...”
Leila did not cease her pursuit of Alpha Connor and continued on in this direction. The latter bowed their heads and consented in the end. “Fine! You are welcome to accompany me... If you are present, it may be simpler to have a conversation with Bradley.”

At the far end of the Sapphire compound is a cave shaded by thick leaves and vines. Leila was visiting the location for the very first time, and it was difficult to fathom how Alpha Connor was familiar with it.

“Is the Sapphire pack still available for purchase? Who?” Leila asked in disbelief. Leila did not expect that there would be a betrayal within the pack, although there were misunderstandings among the members of the group.
“Ha Ha Ha! This, my dear Leila, is the public face of politics... The rot has spread throughout the Sapphire Pack. Because of this, it is simple for me to undermine the basis of the structure...” Alpha Connor said and opened the steel door.
When the door opened, Leila could not take a step forward because she could see the backs of two people. The person who was chained was beaten with a whip by the person who held the whip.
“The Chief Executive... Could you please refrain from doing that for the time being? Someone has paid a visit to our mighty Alpha,“ Alpha Connor declared this while flashing a broad grin.
The Head Council put down their whips and turned to face Alpha Connor with a broad grin on their faces.
During their conversation, Leila’s attention was fixed on Bradley the whole time. To be more specific, the flesh is cut with the lashes of the whip, which requires some force, as the blood is coursing through it. “Bradley...” she mumbled as her voice cracked and her entire body shook.
“It would appear that all of your plans have been realized. As a result, I count on you to carry out the terms of our agreement as quickly as possible,“ the Head Council remarked craftily.
“Naturally, the power lies in your hands... If you remain devoted to me, I will ensure that you get everything you desire...” Alpha Connor responded, and turned his attention to Bradley.
“He’s been out for an hour,” the chief council member explained, before glaring at Leila and sneering at her. “So the princess sided with you and cheats on her boyfriend—”
