I quickly came out of my hiding place while my eyes were red from suppressed tears. “Please don’t kill him... If you want me—here I am. I will not fight back or run away for Bradley’s life...”
“Damn it! What are you doing here? I told you to stay—” Bradley did not finish his remarks when Alpha Connor’s foot pressed against his neck.

“Since no one knows I lose my ability, there will be no problem...” I mumbled, and walked closer to where they were. “Tell your pack to stop attacking the Sapphire pack, and I promise I won’t trouble you.”
Alpha Connor grinned and removed his foot from Bradley’s neck. “Very well... I will not slaughter the rest of the pack, but they will be my prisoner—including their Alpha!”
After this response, Alpha Connor signaled to the alphas while walking toward me. “Capture everyone and bring Bradley Silva to the cage!”
I clenched my fists as I stopped myself from running at Bradley. “Don’t worry... Everything will be fine—help will come, so you must survive and not lose hope...” I affirmed before Alpha Connor pulled me away.
“Damn you, Alpha Connor! You will pay for this! This is not the end! I assure you — the next time we face each other will be your end!” Bradley furiously screamed as he tried to break free from the hands of the one who restrained him.
“Silence! Just be glad your death didn’t happen!” one of the alpha exclaimed while pulling Bradley towards the cage.

Bradley clenched his fist. His mind is occupied with what is happening and his next steps. “I still have my ace... This is not the end of the Sapphire pack and certainly not my end!”

Meanwhile, Alpha Connor brought me to the office. He immediately poured wine and drank.
“Tell me, what are you planning? Why did you attack the Sapphire pack, and why do you want to kill Bradley?” I asked while monitoring his every move.
“I don’t want to destroy Sapphire pack since your mother worked hard to build it. But Bradley gave me no choice... He rejected my daughter and chose you!” Alpha Connor responded as he sat on the other couch holding the glass and bottle of wine.
“Cut the craft because I don’t believe you! I know you have other plans!” I roared as my hands gripped the seat tightly, pouring all my feelings into it.
“Ha ha Ha! You're right... of course I have a hidden agenda, and that is you and the offspring in your womb,” Alpha Connor affirmed with a cunning smirk.
“My baby? What do you mean by that? What are you trying to do to my child?” I asked, as my eyes widened with fear.
Alpha Connor sneered at me and said. “... Don’t worry; you and your baby will not be harmed. I will ensure the days and months are safe for you until he comes out of your womb.”
“Whatever you are planning, you will fail! I will not allow you to use my child and me for your dark plan!” I roared and slammed the table.
“Ha Ha Ha! Leila Aragon, I know your capacity and the way you think. That’s why I’m sure you won’t harm your son,” Alpha Connor retorted with a defiant gaze.
“He is right... I can’t do anything right now if I disagree with his wishes.” I murmured in my mind before sighing. “Then, release Bradley and let him lead the Sapphire pack!”
“Ha Ha Ha! Leila Aragon, do you think I’m stupid? Bradley will remain alive in my cage, and nothing you can say will change my mind on that matter... However, regarding the Sapphire pack, I will let your mother lead.” Alpha Connor affirmed with a smirk.
“So my mother is not here... In that case, to change the situation. I am sure she will do everything in her power to save Bradley and me... Aside from my mother, some members of the Sapphire pack survived. This is great! I uttered as I glanced at Alpha Connor, who didn’t lose his smirk.
“Fine! I won’t run away or fight you as long as you promise nothing bad will happen to Bradley and the Sapphire pack!”
“Of course, I guarantee their safety... Luna Maurice and your father are my friend, and I respect them. That’s why I will make sure that you and your offspring will live according to your destiny- to be a ruler with me by your side!”
Shock and terror prevailed in my heart as I glared at Alpha Connor. “What do you mean by your side?” I asked, even though I already knew what it meant.
“I will make you my Luna, and the child in your womb will be my heirs! He will recognize me as his father!” Alpha Connor declared with his forehead raised.
I closed my eyes tightly. The disgust I felt for Alpha Connor was deep in my bones. “I will never be your Luna and especially not the father of my child! Bradley-“
“Bradley will die if you defy me! And don’t worry; I will never lay hands on you... You will be my Luna only for the child in your womb!”
