CHAPTER 47 - Attack on Xia Na

Swaying her body, Xingyue reached the office. She had a coy smile on her face all the time. It showed she was in an enjoyable mood.
She put her purse on the desk and went to the coffee bar area.
Her gaze followed Xia Na and Tang Xue on their regular seats. They were having coffee when she walked to them and cleared her throat.
They turned around and glanced at her.
"Darlings, am I looking different today?"
They scanned her from top to bottom and replied. "Nopes! Is something special today?"
Her smile broke in an instant. She shrugged off Xia Na a little and sat down in her seat in silence.
She lowered her head and stared at the coffee all the time.
Just then, they noticed something was wrong and again approached her.
"I just noticed. You're looking beautiful today, Xingyue. Did you go to the parlor?"
She had a pissed look on her face. "I was just showing my necklace gifted by Xi Song. You guys-"
Tang Xue immediately cut her words off and praised her. "Yay! Xi Song's choice is not too bad. It's looking pretty on you."
Tang Xue gave a nod to Xia Na, and she also praised her. "Oh, yeah. Your necklace is... beautiful, darling. Especially made for you."
Hearing their compliments, her heart joyfully danced again.
"Now, you got my point."

After coffee, the three split into two groups. Tang Xue went somewhere else, and Xia Na & Xingyue were again on their way to their desks.
On the way, they encountered Tang Can, who knocked on Xia Na, which made her collide into an artwork. The corners were sharp, like the edges of a knife that ripped her hand.
The drops of her blood fell on the floor, and she felt extreme pain, which was visible in her groan.
She touched the wound with her other hand and closed her stretched eyes.
Xingyue's hands trembled, and it scattered the files that slipped away from her grip on the ground.
Seeing such a scene, she panicked. Her feet instantly ran towards Xia Na, and she picked her up.
She almost lost excessive blood.
Wasting no time, Xingyue held her arm and took her to the hospital.

Xi Song and Ling Xiao had just returned from a patient visit when a nurse came to their cabin and called him. "Dr. Song, your wife is here."
He slightly frowned and glanced at her with a cocked head.
He immediately got up along with Ling Xiao, followed him, and ran towards the corridor when his eyes fell on Xia Na and Xingyue, who stood in the front.
His gaze examined her whole body before calling her name out. "Xingyue?"
Hearing his voice, her attention shifted from Xia Na to Xi Song. She turned to look at him. "Xi Song, why are you here?" He rushed towards her and made her turn around. "What's up with you? Are you hurt anywhere?"
"Not me. It's Xia Na."
He grabbed her hand and turned to examine her. His breathing had stopped for a moment. But after seeing no ache in her body, he took a sigh of relief.
He then cupped her face and attached their foreheads. "You always make me worried."
His words made her smile as she held his hands and caressed them. "I'm sorry, Xi Song, I will never again make you worry."
Their relish moments sent chills down her spine as she chose to walk away.
"You guys enjoy it. I'm going." Xia Na then wandered towards Ling Xiao, and they went to the dressing room.

He said, taking out the bud from Kit. "Tell me. What were you doing?"
"It's just an accident, Ling Xiao."
"I see. You're so careless, Xia Na. Take care next time."
He again started treating her wounds, but hearing her laugh, he stopped and asked. "What?"
"I thought you're going to scold me like Xi Song."
"I'm not in my teen days to react like this. Besides, I think you don't prefer this."
"You're right. I prefer a guy..." Pressing her lower lip, she grabbed his stethoscope and pulled him towards her. "I prefer a guy like you."
Ling Xiao found her boldness interesting. His eyes narrowed while pulling her close. "Then, I only want a girl like you."
Her coy smile spread all over her face when his fiery breath touched her skin. He moved his fingers in her hair and leaned to kiss her.
She put her hands around his shoulder and moved towards his lips when someone opened the door and stared at them.
Putting one hand on her mouth, she started looking at both of them with widened eyes. "You both- are making love in the hospital."
Her lips curled as she scolded her. "You ruined our moment, Xingyue."
She raised her hands and started walking back and holding the handle of the door, she indicated. "I... I'll wait outside. Carry on."
Saying, she closed the door as both sighed.
"Ling Xiao, are you free tonight?"
"Sure. Do you want to continue?"
"It's been a while since we went on a date."
"No problem! I'll pick you in the evening. Let me open the door of fantasy for you." He then wiggled his eyes, making her grin. "You're such a nasty guy."
