The moon of my world
The morning was pretty refreshing. After getting drunk yesterday, Xingyue felt better today. She swung her hands around and yawned. And with her eyes turned to the right, she found a quiet sleeping moon.
The moon eased her heart, one who illuminates the night of her life, her husband.
Xingyue's POV
When I looked at the right, I saw Xi Song sleeping peacefully. He had a glowing face, even when he was asleep. I couldn't stop myself but stared at him.
After all, he was the only one for me. God blessed me with my own moon, which kept me happy even on darker nights.
Call me fortunate or whatever you want.
I was happy by heart with his entry into my life.
Everyone had a turning point where either your life turned bright like the universe or dark with sorrows in the heart.
The phrase of my marriage brought countless happiness to my life.
Our togetherness taught me. "Life is full of unpredictable moments. Instead of running away, we should cherish them."
I moved my body closer to him and bent a little to kiss his forehead. The smile hasn't left since last night.
I was smiling the whole night. I don't remember what I did last night to him. He must have gone crazy after taking care of me in a drunken state.
Grinning over my thoughts, I was about to move back when he, out of nowhere, held my waist and made me fall on him.
Our lips crashed on each other when he flipped, and he was over on me.
His fingers moved and touched my lips, sending chills down my spine.
He had a naughty look while poking his tongue out and drizzling his lips.
I was shocked to see him. Was he the same innocent husband? His hands that had a grip on my hands were over my head, and I had no choice but to play along with him.
With a slight tension running in my mind, I asked. "W-what are you doing?"
His lips curved into a smirk as he leaned, and I closed my eyes instantly. I waited for a few minutes, but I felt no movement that led me to slightly open my eyes and peeked.
I saw him laughing at me. "You literally think of me as a horny ass?"
His laugh was the reason why I spent this day full of embarrassment. Today, I had natural makeup as my cheeks were red, still repeating the scene again and again.
Today, Han Shuo was also on leave. And I had nothing to do. Then my mother-in-law's call came, and I started talking with her. We had a long talk until she pushed me to an exciting yet sticky topic.
Mom: And xingyue, what's your plan for your honeymoon? Is Xi Song taking you somewhere? Or do I have to pull his ears to remind him even about this?
I slightly chuckled at her humor and sadly denied it.
Me: Mom, currently, we haven't discussed it. He's so busy with his hospital. I think he doesn't have time for it.
Mom: Aaigo! Do you want me to scold him?
Me: It's okay, Mom. His job comes first.
Mom: You're too kind, darling. This stupid should take more care of yours.
Me: It's alright, Mom. I'm still happy to spend a little time with him. He sometimes cooked for us, helped me with housework. Even this is enough for me.
Mom: And that's why you and he deserve a break. Otherwise, I have to wait to see my grandkids.
Where we hadn't planned anything till now, on the other side, mom had already decorated Grandkids' dreams.
She made me blush so hard that I couldn't control myself too. But yes, her words gave me a slice of sight of the future.
Not today, but someday, we would be parents too. I didn't know why but even just a thought gave me butterflies in my stomach.
It was not a rush but a desire to hold my kid in my hands.

With a smile on my face, I rushed home. I wanted a hug to ease my heart once again.
And nothing could be better than surrounding me with his arms.
Today, he planned a dinner for us. We wasted too much time already. The argument almost tore us apart.
Looking back, I found us so childish. A tiny thing turned into an argument just because we cared for each other's safety more.
But just like once said. "Arguments made bonds stronger." I hope our bond becomes stronger than before.
Few months of marriage taught us a lot. And now, I could only imagine my future with him.
I clicked the handle and came in by opening the door. The smell of the food cooked by Xi Song was fascinating in the whole hall.
Rats ran in my stomach after sniffing the smell of the food.
I put my purse on the couch and ran to the kitchen only to back hugged him.
My hands circled his waist, and I rested my head over his back.
"Did you miss me?"
" A lot." He replied while cutting the carrots.
"Then... Did you prepare anything for me?"
The moment I said, he put the knife down and turned to my side. I gazed at him in confusion as he held my hand. "Let me show you something."
He led us to the couch, left me alone, and went to our shared bedroom.
Did he really plan something?
I stared towards the room with countless hopes in my eyes.
Finally, he came back with his hands behind.
"What are you hiding behind?"
He slowly moved his hands, and I spotted a peach-colored box in his hands.
Doubtful, I shifted my eyes to him and then back to the box. The wait was over. He opened the box, and I noticed a shiny necklace inside.
Is it for me? Is it really for me?
He was about to say something, but then I shushed him and kissed his lips, excitedly dancing around.
"You're the best husband, Xi Song."
"Oh!? Thanks, I guess. Anyway, is the necklace beautiful? I bought it... For my cousin."
All my excitement flew away in a second and turned into an annoying look.
I glared at him and threw the pillow at him.
"You know what, Xi Song? You deserve to be single. SUCH A JERK!" I rolled my eyes and left the hall.
