Narrator's POV
The students in the third room could hear the screams from the other room.
'What the hell is going on out there?' they all thought.
“ I'm scared,” a girl said.
Knock… Knock…
“ I don't think we should open it,” another girl whispered.
“ Pfft! You all are scaredy-cats, I'm sure it's just the other kids playing a trick on us” A boy said with a boastful look on his face as he walked towards the door.
“ But still, Daniel, don't open the door,” another boy said, shaking. Obviously, he's scared, they were all scared.
Daniel didn't listen, and he eventually opened the door and the students, who had transformed, rushed into their room and bit them.
Dante put his ear close to the wall to hear what was going on in the other room.
“Argh!! Get away from me, you zombie!!” Dante heard.
“Zombies?” Dante yelled as he moved away from the wall.
“ Z-z-zombie?! But my sister is out there” Owen stuttered with fear in his eyes.
“ Maddie is also out there,” Kayla added.
“They went out at the same time, and they were probably heading to the same place,” Seon Hye said. They all turned to stare at him with confused expressions on their faces.
“ So? How does that improve the situation? ” Kayla asked.
“ They are most likely striving to survive together,” Seon Hye replied as he tried pushing the bed.
“I highly doubt that,” Owen said.
“ Yeah, Annie and Maddie are mortal enemies, she fights with Maddie more than she does with Kayla,” Dante said.
“ And what are you trying to do?” Kayla asked, staring at Seon Hye.
“ They will break into our room any minute now, so let's barricade the door,” Seon Hye suggested. The rest nodded and helped him block the door with literally everything in the room.
“ We can't stay here forever,” Seon Hye said as he turned on his torchlight.
“ We have to leave this place, but how?” Dante asked, Seon Hye looked out the window and then looked back at them.
“ No, we are not climbing out of the window,” Kayla said.
“ I know it's like a dozen feet from here to the ground, and we don't even have a rope or anything we can use to go down.” Seon Hye replied.
“ Actually, I have a rope,” Owen said. Suddenly, they began to bang the door vigorously and loudly.
“ Where is it? Bring it out,” Seon Hye yelled.
“ It's in my back, but it's not that long” Owen stuttered.
“ We need to leave this room first,” Seon Hye said again.
“ Uh! Guys, we don't have much time” Dante said as he stared at the door and how the barricade they put up began to fall one by one. Owen nodded and rushed to his bag to bring the rope out.
“ I have so many questions for you,” Kayla said as she collected the rope and gave it to Seon Hye. At the end of the rope was a hook, Seon Hye hooked it onto the edge of the window and made sure it was firm.
“ Who's going first ?” He asked.
“ Owen” he called, Owen nodded and carried his bag. He took out his phone and turned on his torchlight. He then rushed to the rope and climbed down. When he reached the end of the rope which stopped at the window of one of the 5th floor rooms, Owen used his torchlight to check if the room was okay and yes, it was clear, no draugr, he opened the window and climbed in. Meanwhile, The barricade they put was falling apart the more.
“ Owen, did you find a safer room?” Seon Hye asked.
“ Yes, it's safe, you guys can come,” Owen yelled back.
Dante decided to go next.
“ I'm scared of heights, but this is a matter of life and death” he said as he climbed down.
“Kayla ” Seon Hye called. Kayla was lost in thoughts as she stared down the window.
“ Kayla, we don't have time,” Seon Hye said, bringing her back to her senses.
“ Fuck! I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm scared,” Kayla stuttered. Seon Hye stared at her for a while, trying to hold his laughter. ' Kayla is actually scared of something, this is new' he thought.
“ Ok we will go together is that fine” he said, gesturing for Kayla to hold his hand.
“ I guess” Kayla replied with an irritated look on her face, all the barricades they put suddenly fell.
“ Shit! Climb onto my back now” Seon Hye yelled, Kayla did as he said and just like that, he climbed down the rope. Their weight was too much for the rope, and it was about to snap.
“ Ah! Shit! ” they both cursed simultaneously.
“ Owen, Dante, the rope's about to snap” Seon Hye yelled. Owen and Dante looked through the window and looked above.
“ Ok, we have got you guys covered,” Dante replied. Just then, the Concierge and the kids who were bitten all rushed into the room Seon Hye and the rest were in. The Concierge walked towards the window, looked out and saw Seon Hye and Kayla dangling outside the window. He then looked at where the rope was hooked and back at Seon Hye and Kayla.
“ Is he gonna?” Kayla asked. Her phone torchlight, shining right at the face of the Concierge, caused the Concierge to stumble back a little. ' Light affects them?' Kayla and Seon Hye both thought.
“ Kayla, do you trust me? If you do hold on tight because we are about to fall” Seon Hye said, Kayla clutched onto Seon Hye's body. The Concierge was able to remove the hook as it stumbled back and Seon Hye fell with Kayla still clutching onto him.

Annie and Maddie were still running away from Mrs. Harper and the receptionist. When they reached the second floor, they noticed that there were others like Mrs. Harper and the receptionist there.
“What do we do?” Annie whispered to Maddie. ' There isn't much here, the smell isn't much either, although it is more than the smell Mrs. Harper and the receptionist gave off. I think the best option is to distract them, so we can go to the third floor' Maddie thought.
“Give me your phone,” Maddie said to Annie.
“ What the fuck? No way, why can't you use yours?” Annie said, almost yelled, but Maddie covered her mouth and forcefully took Annie's phone away from her.
“ Thanks” Maddie said with a mischievous smile on her face.
“ After I do this you're going to hate me more than you already do, Annie” Maddie said, she went into Annie's clock app and set an alarm. Maddie then threw the phone down the stairs. Annie was shocked and angry at the same time, before she could yell, Maddie covered her mouth again.
“ One … two … three” Maddie counted, and the alarm went off. The noise from the phone attracted the Draugrs and caused all of them to rush down the stairs where the phone was. ' They have sensitive hearing, cool, they are just like zombies' Maddie thought.
“ *whispers* Why would you throw away my phone ?” Annie asked angrily.
“ Let's just go” Maddie replied and grabbed Annie, but Annie refused to move.
“ You must go back down there and bring my phone back,” Annie whispered.
“ *whispers* you're joking, right? All you think about is that fucking phone, since you care so much about it, why don't you go get it yourself” Maddie snapped. Unknown to them, one of the Draugrs didn't follow the sound of the alarm, and it was approaching them as they argued with each other.
“ Oh really you're the one who threw it down there without my permission” Annie replied.
“ You don't need the phone, let's go,” Maddie said as she turned to see one of the Draugrs walking towards them. ' F**k, didn't it go down with the others? ' Maddie cursed in her mind.
