Annie smiled brightly and let Maddie's body fall. Owen glared daggers at Annie as he was about to say something but Seon Hye interrupted him and yelled, “ what the hell is wrong with you? ”
Kayla glanced at Seon Hye with a thought in her mind, ' why does he look so pissed? The person who should be acting like this, is Owen, not like he isn't meant to act like this but it's just weird for someone like Seon Hye to care '
“ Maddie! ” Seon Hye and Owen yelled, Seon Hye tried getting on his feet but he couldn't. “ shit! ” he cursed under his breath.
“Holy shit! ” Dante mumbled.
“ Annie stop this bullshit right now ” Owen yelled.
“ you care for her right? Why don't you try saving her? ” Annie said, chuckled and continued, “ even if you try you won't be able to save her on time ”
“ stop this Annie! ” they all yelled as they watched Maddie fall.
Before Maddie could reach the ground, she disappeared, Annie's brow rose and thought ' what just happened? '
Charlie appeared behind Annie with Maddie in her arms, raised her right foot and kicked Annie. The force of Charlie's kick sends Annie flying and eventually smashed her body through the building opposite the convenience store.
“ Charlie? ” Chester called as he slowly stood on his feet with a shocked expression on his face, the rest of them did the same. Charlie glanced at him and nodded, he nodded back.
“ oh my…  she's so cool ” Dante mumbled, Elvis nodded and said,“ so cool”
Seon Hye ran to Charlie and Owen did the same. Charlie laid Maddie's body on the ground, Maddie was sweating profusely as she found it very hard to breathe.
“ she's finding it very hard to breathe, Owen where's her inhaler,” Seon Hye asked, Owen, looked down and said, “ Annie destroyed it”
Seon Hye stood up quickly, cursed“ that fucking bitch, ” and was about to match toward the building she crashed into but Charlie grabbed his hand and said, “ leave dealing with Annie to me, just take Maddie away from here and find a way to save her ”, she then looked at Owen who's eyes was filled with tears. Charlie smiled faintly and said, “ you too Owen, Maddie would want you by her side ” as she walked passed him. Owen stood on his feet, and said to Seon Hye, “take Maddie somewhere safe,” and turned in the direction Charlie was going before Seon Hye could say a word.
Maya ran toward Seon Hye and said, “ let's take her into the convenience store, I know how we can stop this asthma attack and save her ”, Officer Jones took the pry bar from the ground and inserted the pry bar at the bottom rail and applied pressure.
“Quickly! We don't have time ” Maya said, Officer Jones, panicked and yelled, “ yes I'm trying my very best to open this door, okay? ”

Charlie stopped and turned to Owen, “ why are you following me? ”
“ I want to help,” Owen said, Charlie folded her arms and said, “ no way go back it's too dangerous, you know what she's capable of doing ”
“ no, I want to confront Annie once and for all and I want to save her before that thing completely takes over her” Owen said
“ she has already signed the contract, there's no way any moment from now her hatred for you  will spread and that draugr will take over her body completely,” Charlie said, Owen furrowed his brow and looked away,
“ Now go” Charlie replied, turned and began to walk away. Owen's eyes widened as his face brighten, like he just had an idea, “ Hey Charlie I have an idea”
Charlie groaned and paused on her track, “ what is it now? ”
“ you said her hatred for me will spread and it will make the draugr in her take control completely, what if I get her to trust and see me as her loving brother again ” Owen suggested. Charlie's brows rose, she was beyond puzzled.
“ and how are you going to do that? ” She asked. Owen smiled and said, “ I have a plan ”, Charlie rolled her eyes and signalled for him to come along.

Officer Jones finally opened the door and they all rushed inside and then closed the door.
“ wait, what about Owen and Charlie? ” Emily asked.
“ They will be fine, trust me,” Chester said, Seon Hye laid Maddie on the floor and watched her struggling to breathe. Maya knelt beside her and said, “ it's okay breath slowly, calm down ”, Maddie couldn't calm down each time she tried breathing, it was like a fragment of her life is being taken away little by little.
“ holy shit! we are losing her” Dante screamed, Seon Hye's eyes misted as he wrapped his hands around Maddie's.
“ goddamn it! Dante I know we are losing her, I'm trying to think so please keep quiet and let me think ” Maya yelled. Dante nodded slowly and kept his mouth shut.
“ ok I think I have an idea ” Maya mumbled
“ help her Sit upright. ” Maya ordered, Seon Hye nodded and gently carried Maddie's head and placed it on the wall.
“ Okay, I need soda and honey ” Maya ordered again, they all looked at her with puzzled expressions on their faces.
“ *chuckles* excuse me, you said you needed…? ” Kayla asked.
“ Please! trust Maya, she knows what she's doing ” Emily assured.
“ just trust me,” Maya said.
“ well, since this is a convenience store I guess it will be easy to find those items,” Josh said, he stood up on his feet and said again, “ okay, Elvis and I will go get them”
“ quickly… ” Maya said, Josh nodded and walked away, Elvis stood up and followed.
“ Okay, slow down your breathing by taking long, deep breaths. Breathe in through your nose. Exhale through your mouth. ” Maya said to Maddie, she began to breathe in and out slowly.
“ Good, just stay calm. Anxiety tightens your chest and back muscles, which makes it more difficult to breathe.” Maya said with a smile and Maddie began to relax.
“ it's working ” Seon Hye mumbled.
Josh and Elvis already found the items and came back with lots of them. Maya opened the bottle filled with honey and poured it into the cap, “ okay, this is alright, here make sure she drinks this ” she said while giving Seon Hye, He grabbed it and poured everything into Maddie's mouth. She opened the can of soda beside her and gave it to Seon Hye. He grabbed it and was about to pour it into Maddie's mouth but she held his arm and took the can away from him and drank it herself.
“ thank you, Maya, you're a real lifesaver” Maddie mumbled. Maya smiled and nodded. Seon Hye sighed a breath of relief, Maddie glanced at Seon Hye and said, “ I told you not to come close to me, remember? ”
Seon Hye chuckled and asked, “ why do you always push me away? ” Maddie rolled her eyes and looked away. Seon Hye grinned and said, “ I'm glad you're okay though, you don't know how hurt I would have been if you ... had died”, Maddie furrowed her eyebrows and half yelled, “ shut up, just shut up, it's because of you, it's all because of you, why my life is like this, why I'm a complete mess, why the bond between two siblings... Broke, it's all because of you ”
Maya, Dante and Kayla glanced at each other and then at them.
“ These two have something going on ” Kayla whispered and Maya and Dante nodded. One of Seon Hye's brows twitched and shot a glare at Kayla.
“ shut up Kayla, it's nothing like that ” he replied harshly.
“ then what? Why doesn't she want to have anything to do with you, why is she blaming you for everything ” Kayla said bringing her face closer it his as she peered into his eyes. Seon Hye darted his gaze and pushed her aside and walked away from her.
Kayla frowned and clenched her fist, “ asshole, don't you dare walk out on me ”, she stood on her feet and ran after him.

Charlie sensed something was watching them, she immediately told Owen to stay behind her.
' she's here ' Charlie thought as she darted her gaze from one direction to another.
“ I'm not here to fight, just come out and stop playing games ” Charlie demanded, Annie jumped out of her hiding spot with a clenched fist in the air ready to punch Charlie. Charlie swiftly used both arms to block the attack.
“ Charlie, I will handle this,” Owen said. Charlie exhaled and said, “ alright do your thing”
Annie's brow raised as she stared at Owen
“ Annie, do you remember the day you were diagnosed with that illness, I ... ” Owen said but he was interrupted by Annie's maniac laughter.
“*clucks tongue* oh! Owen, are you that naive? Do you think that will work? Cackles I discarded those memories a long time ago, the only memory I have is of your betrayal. And I still very much want to kill you ” Annie said, Owen's eyes widened while he shook his head. Something suddenly took over his body and pulled him towards Annie who then grabbed his neck tightly and bored her long sharp claws slowly into his neck.
“*coughs* A... n-nie*coughs*” Owen mumbled, she bored her claws deeper and his eyes began to fail him. He was losing blood and consciousness.
