“ Guys come take a look” Emily called again.
“ Uhh! we are kind of busy here” Elvis replied as he, Josh, Seon Hye and Dante were trying their very best to hold the door.
“ This is urgent, look ” Emily said pointing at Annie.
“ Yeah about her, I knocked her out” Maddie said, Maya walked towards Annie and knelt down to check her out.
“ No, her nose is bleeding, did she get bitten by those things ?” Maya asked and Maddie shook her head.
“ Look you all exaggerating” Maddie said,“ no we are not, this is one of the signs, Emma was also nose bleeding before she transformed” Emily replied.
“Nosebleed is the first sign? ” Kayla asked.
“ No, she looked a bit pale at first and her temperature began to drop, she looked like a dead corpse, look at Annie she kind of looks pale” Emily said.
“ Annie has always looked pale, it's her skin colour, I just think I hit her on the nose really hard so that's why it's bleeding, just so you know, she was trying to kill me” Maddie replied.
“ Emily I think you're just exaggerating, Annie's temperature is normal” Maddie replied.
“It's alright Emily no one's been bitten here, so don't worry” Kayla assured, Emily nodded and crouched on the floor.
That's when Annie opened her eyes, Maya noticed and said,“ oh she's awake” , Annie looked around for a while and frowned. She tried standing, but she couldn't, Maya grabbed her hand and said,“ hey, let me help you up”, Annie glared at her, smacked her hand off, stood up and grabbed Maddie's neck.
“ You bitch, why did you let them in? ” Annie yelled as she strangled Maddie, Kayla rushed to grab Annie's hand and tried pulling it off Maddie's neck, but her grip was too strong and Maddie was finding it hard to breathe,“ shit how is her grip so strong” Kayla cursed.
“ Hey Annie stop,” Owen said.
“ Stop what? Trying to Kill your favorite sister,” Annie yelled as she glared at him, Owen wanted to say something but he kept quiet.
“ A-asshole let go of my neck” Maddie mumbled. Owen watched Kayla struggling to pull Annie's hand away, ' I can't let my sisters fight like this ' he thought and asked,
“ Annie stop, do you think killing her will change anything? We are in a rough situation as it is,” . ' calm down, not now' the voice in her head said, Annie let go of Maddie's neck and said,“ on second thought, killing her really isn't worth it, she's just a dirty orphan girl who's bound to die anyway”.
Seon Hye frowned when he heard what Annie said, but he had bigger problems.
“ Ahem! Are you done fighting back there? We need y'all help, asap” Dante yelled. Then the banging stopped, so Josh, Elvis, Dante and Seon Hye left the door.
“ The banging stopped, the fuck is going on,” Elvis asked.
“ Did they all go just like that? ” Dante asked. Seon Hye shook his head and said,
“ no” and that's when realization hit him, ' The concierge'
“ Everyone stay away from the door now!! ” Seon Hye yelled, everyone stayed away from the door but nothing came from the door,
Then the unexpected happened, the sucker of the Concierge broke through the ceiling and charged towards Seon Hye,“ Seon Hye watch out” Kayla yelled, but it was too late it had already grabbed his leg and pulled him.
“Oh shit! ” Dante cursed and grabbed Seon Hye's arm and pulled him, but the sucker was too strong,“ I could really need some help, ”.
“ You guys should get the hell out of here !!! ” Seon Hye yelled as he struggled to get out of the tight grip of the sucker as Dante continued to pull him. Kayla grabbed Seon Hye's other arm and pulled, The rest of them joined in and grabbed his arm, they all tried to pull back at the same time, but the sucker's grip was still too strong.
“ Ahh! You guys are literally tearing me apart,” Seon Hye yelled.
“ Pull harder! ” Kayla ordered, and everyone pulled harder simultaneously. Annie just watched them struggle with a crude smirk on her face.
“ Since they are busy I will be on my way, there's no way I'm going to die with these losers, I'm getting the hell out of here” Annie mumbled to herself and ran towards the door, Maddie spotted Annie and furrowed her eyebrows, “ seriously? You're going to leave us here?” . Annie ignored Maddie's question and began to remove everything they used to block the door,“ Annie stop don't remove those things we are uncertain if those things aren't still out there” Elvis yelled, Annie didn't listen and continued to remove everything.
After removing everything, she was about to open the door, as she touched the handle of the door, the hand of the Concierge broke through. Annie's eyes widened as she stumbled and fell back.
“ Ahh!!! ” Annie screamed.

Officer Jones and Chester didn't see any draugr on their way to the second floor. After checking all the rooms on the second floor.
“ Let's go to the third floor” Officer Jones said, Chester nodded and closed the room door. When Chester and Officer Jones were about to climb the stairs, They both heard a scream. They both looked at each other sharply, nodded, positioned their guns properly and climbed the stairs slowly.
When they reached the top, Chester peeped and saw the concierge trying to break the door of the third room. He turned back and nodded. Officer Jones nodded and told him to keep quiet.
“ We are going to aim at its neck, ” Officer Jones whispered and Chester nodded.
“ Remember no matter what, don't stop shooting” Officer Jones added. Chester nodded again and said,“ alright”
“ At the count of three, one … two … Three, go” Officer Jones yelled, he and Chester jumped out of their hiding spot and aim their guns at the concierge. The concierge turned to look at them and began to walk towards them.
“ Fire! ” Officer Jones yelled, they pulled their triggers simultaneously and the bullets hit the neck of the concierge, the aimed and shot at its neck rapidly until its head came off.
The sucker that held Seon Hye's leg let go of his leg, making him fall into the arms of his mates as they all fall to the ground. Annie stood up quickly and moved back.
“ Oh shit! What the hell? ” Kayla winced as rubbed her back.
“ Are you okay dude” Dante asked and Seon Hye nodded,“ yes although my leg hurts *winced* that thing twisted it pretty bad”
“ I heard gunshots” Josh said, he stood up quickly, he ran towards the door and opened it,“ is it the police? ” Elvis asked, Josh looked back and shook his head. They all stood up quickly and ran towards the door, only to see Chester and Officer Jones.
“ That guy looks very familiar” Dante whispered, Kayla recalled what happened earlier today, “ he's the guy who was with that weird girl we met on the highway”
“ Okay kids enough murmuring, I'm Officer Jones chief of police and this kid's name is Chester, we came to rescue you,” Officer Jones said as they all just stared at him with dull expressions on their faces.
“ If you guys want to live this place alive you will have to come with us” Chester said.
“ He's holding a gun, ” Dante whispered.
“ That's pretty cool,” Kayla replied.
“ Shut up and follow us” Chester said as he and officer Jones began to walk away, Dante was about to follow them but Seon Hye pulled him back“ we can't just follow them ”,“ *scoffs* look dude I'm pretty sure we are safe with them, I mean look they have riffles, and what do we have? Nothing” Dante replied and walked away, Kayla nodded and said,“ he's right” and followed Dante. Maya and Emily looked at each other and followed, too. Josh and Elvis followed behind Maya and Emily.
“ I think it's best we follow them, it's the logic thing to do right now” Owen said to Seon Hye.
“ *scoffs* doubt much” Maddie said mockingly to Seon Hye as she walked away, Seon Hye groaned, glanced at Owen, nodded and went with him. Annie stared at Seon Hye and Owen as they walked away. An eerie smirk formed on her lips,' I don't think they are going to survive with us around,' the voice in her head said. Annie stopped smiling and she followed them.
