Narrator's POV
Maddie and Annie both ran up the stairs to the third floor as fast as they could. As they finally reached the third floor, Maddie had to check if there were more of them on that floor, and surprisingly, there weren't any. Maddie sighed with relief and pulled Annie along with her to the third room. ' I guess we have to stay in here for now until I'm able to catch my breath and probably think of a way to escape this building' Maddie thought. She opened the door and walked into the room. Annie also walked in and Maddie locked the door, Maddie rushed to the wall closest to her and leaned on it as she tried catching her breath,' fucking asthma why do I have to be asthmatic' she thought as she searched for her inhaler in her pocket, but it wasn't there.
“ Dang it! I forgot my inhaler” She mumbled to herself.
' It seems she's having an asthmatic attack again, sucks to be her, anyway, that's what she gets for throwing my phone. I really hate her, I mean she isn't my real sister, just some bitch my parents decided to adopt even when Owen and I were very much alive. I'm not the only one who dislikes her though, My parents don't like her either but that's not enough because they still value her and I hate that hmm, Owen, Owen, I hate him so much, he cares more about that bitch than his sister, I will deal with them all later because right now, I have to survive' Annie thought, with a sly smirk on her face.
“ It is best if we stay here. I'm sure they will come for us,” Maddie said slowly. Annie scoffed and pushed a strand of her hair from her face and said,“And what makes you think they are even alive? Why would they even come for us, it's not like we are all close friends or anything, we only see each other as classmates and most of all rivals” Annie then closed her eyes and continued,“ there's no way they would work together, we might as well just give up on hoping they will come for us.”
“ *chuckles* you're really something else Annie, you are the one who hates on everyone the most, you are literally the only person that doesn't want any of us to get along with one another, you're practically the villainess. Anyway, you can give up but me I'm not going to give up” Maddie replied, Annie was obviously angered by what Maddie said, but she didn't show it. ' She's calling me the villainess, really? This bitch, I will make sure you regret saying those things' she thought.

Seon Hye tore a medium-sized piece of clothing from the bedsheet, he opened one of the bottles of vodka, and rolled the piece of clothing for it to take the form of a rope and put it through the opening of the bottle. He showed it to the rest of them, asked them to follow what he had done,, and they did.
“ Why are we using alcohol?” Kayla asked, and Seon Hye looked at her with a shocked expression on his face.
“ Wait, you guys don't have any idea of why we are using alcohol ” Seon Hye asked.
“ At first I thought you were going to drink it, but then you started doing something even much more weird,” Dante laughed and Seon Hye rolled his eyes.
“ It's not weird, okay, this is obviously simple organic chemistry. Alcohol (ethanol) is a very flammable and combustible fuel, ” Seon Hye explained, and that's when realization hit them.
“ Oh! So, that's why we are using alcohol,” they said.
“ That makes more sense, but since when did organic chemistry get simple ?” Dante asked with a confused look on his face.
“ We are lighting the cloth and throwing this at them, so they burn” Kayla said
“ Yes, that's part of my plan, another thing is how to get Annie and Maddie, ” Seon Hye said.
“ We came from the tenth floor, and we are on the sixth floor, it will take some time before the Concierge gets here, so we have to hurry,” Seon Hye said, and they nodded simultaneously.
“ Maddie and Annie both went down to the ground floor, right?” He asked.
“ Yes that's where they went” Kayla replied, not sure where Seon Hye was going.
“ I'm sure they didn't leave the hotel, do you know why?” Seon Hye asked, and they shook their heads, Seon Hye signed with frustration and sat down on the bed which was behind him.
“ Ugh! It's because they couldn't leave the hotel in the first place, Mrs. Harper would have bumped into them on the ground floor” Seon Hye explained.
“ But how did Mrs. Harper get to the ground floor in the first place?” Owen asked.
“ This information is too much for me to handle,” Dante said as he placed his arms on his head.
“ I haven't even started yet, no more questions, just listen to me,” Seon Hye said.
“ Ok so, hmm Mrs. Harper being the kind and caring teacher she is, would have wondered why there was a sudden solar eclipse without warning and to top it all a blackout occurs too. Of course, she would have left her room and decided to go inquire about what was going on, so she decided to go meet the receptionist” Seon Hye said.
“ She could have just met other staff,” Kayla said.
“ Yeah she could have, but I'm thinking the staff weren't reachable, meaning she couldn't find them because just like the Concierge, I'm thinking every other staff transformed and wander off somewhere” Seon Hye explained.
“ So you're saying Maya, Annie, and Mrs. Harper had an encounter with the receptionist who's already a monster,” Owen said as he rubbed his fingers on his chin.
“ Yeah, not really , I'm thinking Mrs. Harper was bitten by the receptionist,” Seon Hye replied.
“ Uh!!! Dude, the hell how do you keep assuming weird scenarios like that? Mrs. Harper wouldn't have transformed I highly doubt” Dante half yelled.
“ We didn't say you should believe me, after all I'm just stating made up scenarios” Seon Hye said with a subtle smile on his face.
