Charlie's POV
Chester said we should leave the house through the back to avoid the monsters at the front,' I still think we might encounter some at the back' I thought.
“ Aim at their necks and completely remove it, okay?” Chester said to me, I nodded. Chester wore a helmet with a touch light on it, I didn't wear one because I didn't need it since I have the Draugrs power. Chester used old hockey knee pads as protection on the areas the monsters would aim to bite. I decided to go out first.
As I stepped out, I saw quite a few roaming around. A mischievous grin formed on my lips, I charged towards every single one of them and quietly removed their heads from their body in other not to attract the other ones at our front yard. I gave Chester the signal that the coast is clear, he nodded and followed me.
I kept making sure the monsters couldn't come close to us, and Chester uses his rifle when necessary. But these things are many, it's annoying.
“ They just keep coming” Chester said, he was obviously almost winded. ' I noticed something, every time Chester's light contacts them, they react in a weird manner, this things hate light !' I thought, as I climbed over the fence in front of me, Chester was about to do the same, but that thing grabbed his legs and began to pull him down.
“Charlie, just go without me!” Chester yelled.
“ No, Chester, shine your light on it, they hate it” I yelled.
Narrator's POV
Chester did what Charlie asked him to do, and it worked, it let go of Chester's legs. Chester was able to jump over the fence.
“ They hate light, good thinking Charlie” Chester praised and Charlie nodded.
There were many monsters in their current location, Charlie already transformed to her half stage, her eyes turned white with black veins visible from her neck to her cheeks and developed really sharp claws on her hands. Charlie charged towards them and with seconds their heads were uprooted from their body. Every time she touched each and every one of them, they kept whispering' Holm's Founders' descendant',' what are they saying?' Charlie asked.
“ Chester, we must leave now before I …” Charlie said, she couldn't complete her sentence because her nose began to bleed again.
“What's wrong with you? Your nose is bleeding again” Chester asked as he rushed to her side.
“ It's an after effect for using 'its' power for more than 30 seconds, I will be fine” Charlie replied as she uses Chester's shoulders for support.
“ Grrrh!!” the sound of another set of monsters coming around, and they're all aiming for Chester, Chester used is rifle and aimed for each and every one of them, but they just kept coming. ' Shit! I have to do something' Charlie thought as she tried to stand on her fit.

Back at the hotel…
The draugr got closer to Maddie and tried grabbing her, but she grabbed it instead and smashed its head on the wall. Annie tapped Maddie's shoulder as she kept smashing the Draugrs head' why won't it die already?!' she thought with a frustrated look on her face, Annie who had fear writing all over her face tapped Maddie once more and said, “ Maddie, I think they heard us, they are coming back upstairs,” Maddie nodded she pulled the draugr before it could do anything and pushed it down the stairs. Maddie turned to Annie and pulled Annie with her. ' Ugh! My phone's gone, Maddie is the worst, but she's the best person that can help me survive this' Annie thought.
' Let's hope the other floors aren't infested with these creatures' Maddie thought.

Meanwhile, Josh, Maya, Elvis, Emma, and Emily all crouched down on the floor with fear writing on their faces.
“ We can't stay here forever, or else we might die, I will go check if the coast is clear, so we can escape. ” Josh whispered as stood up.
“ Be careful” Maya said, he nodded and walked quietly to the door, opened it slowly, so it wouldn't make a sound. He didn't see anyone or anything, so signaled for them to come out quietly. Elvis had his baseball bat with him and his bag on his back, Josh signaled Elvis to give him his bat, which he did.
“Come on” Josh whispered in a very low tone, Maya left first, Emma followed, Emily, Elvis and lastly Josh. The five ran downstairs as quickly as they could. Maya being at the front stopped because more of those draugrs were on this floor too.
' If more of these things are on this floor then this whole hotel and this city are full of these monsters' Maya thought.
“ The only thing we can do is fight our way through,” Josh whispered, He glanced at Elvis who held on to his bat tightly and nodded at Josh.
“ Let's go” Josh said as he and Elvis began to hit those things. Maya and the other two girls ran past them, they were about to reach the stairs, but one of those things came out of nowhere and jumped onto Emma.
“ Ahhh!!” she screamed as tried her very best not to let the draugr bite her.
Maya and Emily didn't know what to do, Elvis and Josh were also busy. Maya turned on her phone torchlight looked around for possible weapons and found the fire extinguisher, she rushed towards it and tried breaking the fire extinguisher bracket open which she did, she pulled the fire extinguisher out hit it on the head of the draugr trying to bite Emma, Emily then pulled a terrified looking Emma away.
“ Josh, I have an idea!!” Maya yelled as she removed the pin at the top of the extinguisher, the white foam came out, The draugrs couldn't see because the foams were everywhere, the five used this chance to run.

Kayla closed her eyes waiting for her and Seon Hye to make an impact with the ground, but luckily for them Dante and Owen grabbed the rope just in time. Kayla opened her eyes and smiled,“ I wasn't expecting them to grab the robe ”.
“ Hey. You guys should climb quickly, we can't hold this rope much longer” Dante yelled, ' I rest my case those two are weaklings' Kayla thought, with a disappointed look on her face. Seon Hye climbed the rope as quickly as he could and was able to reach where Dante and Owen were. Kayla climbed into the room before Seon Hye did. With their phone torchlights on, they scanned the room, everything seemed normal.
“Should we stay here for a while?” Dante asked, he looked restless and shaken by what just occurred.
Seon Hye looked at him with a calm expression on his face,' how can he be so calm? ' Dante thought,“ no, we have to find Annie and Maddie and leave this hotel at all cost” , Seon Hye walked towards the window once more and looked above him to see if the concierge was still there, but he wasn't there. ' Obviously not, that thing is smart' Seon Hye thought as he turned to look at his colleagues.
“ Guys we should leave here, that thing knows we didn't die and for sure it's going to come after us” Seon Hye said, everyone paid attention.
“ So what do we do, smartie pants? ” Kayla asked.
“ We know one of their weaknesses is light” Seon Hye started, and they all nodded.
“ So this light, it can be of any type, like fire, right?” Owen replied.
“ Correct, you've got brains Owen” Seon Hye said and Kayla frowned as she put her hands inside the pockets of her Jean shorts and asked“ so how are we going to make fire? And where are we going to set the fire on” , Seon Hye turned to the other end of the room and noticed about twenty bottles of vodka, he had a smugged look on his face as he looked back at them, he walked towards the bottles and picked one up, “ we are going to use these bottles”
