Narrator's POV
Kayla sighed and said,
“ ignore Dante, considering the fact that monster is smart do you think it tricked Mrs. Harper, lured her and used the opportunity to bite her”
“ Oh wow, I wasn't expecting you to give such an excellent suggestion” Seon Hye said with a bright grin on his handsome face, Kayla was utterly irritated, Seon Hye then gave a playful pat on her head. ' Did this fucker just' Kayla thought as she totally snapped, grabbed the hand he used to touch her, pulled him from the bed to the ground and used the arm lock technique on him.
“ Oh my God !” Owen and Dante half screamed with shocked expressions on their faces.
“ Shit! Kayla let go of my arm ” Seon Hye said as he struggled to free himself from her grip but that only made the pain worse.
“ I do not like it when someone touches me without my permission! Especially, if I don't like that person and see that person as my rival,” She said with rage as she tightened her grip on Seon Hye's arm.
“ Hmm Owen, isn't disliking someone and seeing them as a rival the same thing” Dante asked and Owen shook his head slowly and replied,“ no it's not, rivalry is like a competition and dislike is just hate. Kayla hates Seon Hye because of his overconfident nature meaning he doesn't see any fault in what he does and the fact that he is first place makes him her rival since she's second place”
“ Doesn't that make them your rival” Dante asked looking at Owen' Owen definitely has the ability to get first place, so why is he always third place' Dante thought. Owen's expression changed a little and suddenly became gloomy.
“ I want to avoid being first place,” He mumbled to himself.
“ Anyway, I can't be first, it doesn't suit me” Owen said with a faint smile. ' I might not be that smart, but I can tell he has something against being first place, some kind of trauma, anyway it ain't my business' Dante thought and shrugged it off.
Kayla tightened her grip once more and Seon Hye winced in pain, ' oh we forgot about those two' Owen and Dante thought simultaneously. Owen and Dante decided to separate the two immediately before Kayla completely breaks his hand.
“ Kayla, please calm down” Owen said as he grabbed Kayla and tried pulling her away, but she didn't let get of Seon Hye's arm, so it only made things worse.
“ Jeez, Owen, stop pulling her !” Seon Hye said, Dante, on the other hand, tried to remove Kayla's leg, but Kayla glared at him which made him stop.
“ She's a monster,” he stuttered as he moved back.
“ Kayla just let go of his arm because he's really going to need it” Dante said, Kayla groaned and let go of Seon Hye's arm.
“ Ugh! I wasn't even done explaining my plan, damn my arm hurts, apologize Kayla” Seon Hye said with a pained expression on his face as massaged his arm and sat on the bed once more.
“ I would say sorry, but I'm not sorry” Kayla said with an unregretful look on her face.
“ So fucking immature” Seon Hye mumbled to himself, but Kayla heard him. Kayla's eyebrows twitched and asked,“ What did you say?”
“ Nothing” Seon Hye replied and rolled his eyes.
“ Guys we don't have time for this” Owen said.
“ *sigh* Owen's right, fighting with you is a waste of time” Seon Hye said to Kayla as he crossed his arms.
“ Huh? wait, that's not what I meant” Owen stuttered. Kayla inhaled and exhaled to calm her nerves, so she wouldn't actually kill Seon Hye. ' I will not let him get to me' she thought.
“ Continue with explaining your plan” Kayla said with a grumpy tone.
“ Uh! Alright, yes it must have lured Mrs. Harper somehow, now this is the time Maddie and Annie start running. I'm pretty sure they are at the third floor now, if there are no monsters on that floor they must have decided to rest in one of the rooms” Seon Hye said.
“ How do you know they stopped at the third floor” Dante asked and just then realization hit Owen.
“ Maddie is Asthmatic, I totally forgot” Owen said.
“ *chuckles* bingo, it's because Maddie's asthmatic” Seon Hye said
“ But how do you know that?” they all asked.
“ I noticed it since I'm very observant, even though she's athletic and strong like you Kayla, she has never partakes in any sport activity” Seon Hye blabbed. ' Lies this guy is obviously lying, he might be good at everything, but he's really bad at lying,' Kayla and Owen thought.
“ I thought she was probably just the type that hates sports and didn't want to do it at all,” Dante said.
“ No Seon Hye is right, Maddie's really got at it but because of her asthma she” Owen said
“ I have always wondered though, Maddie isn't your real sister, but Annie is, so why do you seem close to Maddie” Dante asked out of the blue and Owen's expression turned gloomy again.

“ Maddie might be adopted but at least she treats me like her real brother” Owen said as a tear dropped from his left eye, Owen used his hand to clean the tear off his face and said“ I'm sorry I-I'm a bit …” he paused when Kayla placed her hand on his shoulder. “ No need to explain anything, we are not friends and there's no way we can help you feel better or help you in any way, life sucks when you have a family, but they don't really seem like one,” Kayla said' I should know that since my mom left me alone with my dad overly abusive dad,' she thought, Owen stared at her for a while and hugged her, Kayla didn't get angry at him because she knew he needed a hug. She didn't hug him back though, she only gave him slow pats on his back.
