On the other hand, Officer Jones drove his car and smashed through the entrance in the other to block the Draugrs that were chasing after the car.
“ That won't hold them for long,” Chester said.
“ But it will buy us some time okay, so let's go now” Officer Jones said,“ oh right the bullets are at the back” he mumbled to himself and Chester rolled his eyes. Charlie stared at Officer Jones pocket, put her hand into it.
“ Hey! What are you doing, kid? ” Officer Jones asked, Charlie ignored his question and brought out a pack of bullets.
“ And what might this be? ” She asked, Officer Jones had a surprised look on his face and said,“ oh! I totally forgot, I always carry one extra, thanks” , he collected the bullet pack and loaded his and Chester's rifle.
“ Charlie you stay here In case those things try to break through” Chester said.
“ I still don't understand how you're able to…” Officer Jones said, but was cut off by a slight tap from Chester.
“ We will explain everything once we are in a safe zone, come on, let's go,” Chester said. Chester and Officer Jones stepped out of the car simultaneously. When They were about to go upstairs, the whole building began to shake.
“ Guys go get those kids asap!, There's something here, something powerful, and it's after them” Charlie yelled. Chester and Officer Jones nodded and rushed upstairs.

The Third Floor…
“ Finally, we reached the third floor*pants heavily*” Dante said, They were all exhausted except for Kayla.
' Maddie and Annie should be in one of these rooms' Owen thought as he began to check each room.
“ Let's help,” Josh said, they nodded and rushed to open other room doors. Owen finally reached the third room at the other end and tried opening it, but it was locked.
“ Guys, I think this is it” Owen called, and they rushed to where he was, Seon Hye knocked slowly and said“ hey Maddie, Annie, if you're in there give us a sign, or just open the door, we are here to rescue you guys” , but he got no reply.
Inside the room…
The knock startled but Maddie and Annie, so they panicked, but when Maddie heard Seon Hye's voice she calmed down a little. She was about to open the door, but Annie grabbed her arm and pulled her back.
“ Do you really want us to die? What if they've all been bitten? ” Annie asked, Maddie eyed her and pulled her arm away from Annie's grip.
“ I'm opening the door” Maddie whispered, Annie reached for her pocket, brought out a pocket knife and pulled Maddie by her hair. She held the pocket knife close to Maddie's neck and said,“ if you try anything, I swear I will slit your throat open,” , pressing the sharpest part into Maddie's neck.
“ You don't know, how long, I have been wanting to this to you” Annie laughed, ' this girl has gone completely crazy' Maddie thought.
' Kill her, kill her,' those words echoed in Annie's mind.
' Who said that? ' She thought, Annie's nose began to bleed a little.
' Don't you want to kill her? ' It said again.
' Yes' she replied
' Then do it' it said. Annie smiled and cleaned her nose bleed with her arm.
Outside the room…
Seon Hye kept knocking but no one answered, “ something's not right” he said.
“ Let's try breaking the door open” Elvis suggested, Josh, Elvis, and Dante tried breaking the door open by simultaneously slamming their bodies onto it. Emily, on the other hand, heard a sound coming from the stairs. Whether it was below or above the stairs, she had no idea. She turned around and tapped Maya.
“ Something's coming” Emily said, Maya nodded and said,“ guys, I think Emily heard something”, Everyone stopped what they were doing and turned their attention to Emily.
“ Something is coming, we have to hurry inside now” Emily said, and she was right, the Draugrs below the third floor were coming to the third floor.
Josh, Elvis, and Dante nodded slammed even hard, but it wouldn't budge, Owen knocked on the door loudly and yelled,“ Maddie, Annie, please open the door now,”
“ you can all die outside for all I care” Annie mumbled to herself,' how do I distract this bitch” Maddie thought.
“ Open the door! ” Kayla yelled as she used her leg to kick the door repeatedly.
Dante looked back and saw Mrs. Harper climbing the stairs,“ son of a bitch! Dude, Seon Hye you were right” he yelled, they all looked back and saw her too,“ shit!” They cursed in union. Elvis banged the door the loudest he could and yelled,“ please, please open the goddamn door! ”
“ We are going to die!! ” Dante yelled.
“ More are coming” Emily said, They all had dreadful expressions on their faces. Seon Hye didn't know what to do at this point,' I think this is the end for us' he thought.
“ It was nice knowing you all,” Dante stuttered. Owen was about to cry as he continued to bang the door,
Inside the room…
' Her grip is loosened a bit, now's my chance' Maddie thought as she grabbed the arm that held on to her hair and pulled her hair out, before Annie could react, Maddie punched her in the face which made her unconscious. Maddie took the pocket knife and rushed to open the door. At that moment, Mrs. Harper and the other Draugrs were already running towards them.
“ Guys, enter now” Maddie yelled, Dante, Emily and the rest rushed into the room. Maddie threw the pocket knife into Mrs. Harper's eyes, slammed the door closed and locked it, but more of those things began to bang the door. Maddie was finding it hard to breathe as she blocked the door.
“ Hey block the door now! ” Seon Hye ordered, Josh and Elvis rushed towards the bed and pushed it towards the door. Maddie left the door and sat at the corner, trying her very best to catch her breath.
“ Maddie, are you okay? ” Maya asked and Maddie shook her head.
“ I have an extra inhaler in my bag” Owen said, he opened his bag and brought out an inhaler. He handed it to Maya, who collected it and helped Maddie put it into her mouth. Maddie inhaled and exhaled slowly, she grabbed Maya, signaling her that she was alright. Maya nodded and removed the inhaler,
“ *sigh* I have never felt more alive” Maddie mumbled, she grabbed the inhaler and put it into her pocket. Meanwhile, Josh and Elvis had already blocked the door with everything in the room. Emily turned to her side and saw an unconscious Annie with blood coming out of her nose, then it occurred to her that Emma also had a bleeding nose before she transformed.
“ Hmm guys” Emily called.
