Kailua stretched her neck to see what was in front but couldn't see anything rather than the people with her. Soon after, the queen mother appeared and they all began discussing. "Is the mother different from the queen mother?" They murmured. The queen mother who sat on the chair with two men, one holding a flag above her while the other fanning her, got up. "I am the queen mother." The woman said keeping them shut. "The person who you call mother is my assistant." She smiled looking around. "I will be showing you the exhibition before you go for your dinner." She said. Chairs appeared and they all sat. "Here is it." She said and hovered as she floated. A curtain opened and many things were displayed. "You were told that you will be given a task to do only after a week." The queen mother said as she floated. "That is your first official assignment." The queen mother fell to the ground after this word. "Each of you will pick an object on this exhibition table and choose to kill someone you love dearly." She said. This word rang a bell in Kailua's ear as she wanted to run away, but on remembering everything she heard, she calmed her nerves. The first person in her row walked up and chose an art. Turning her art back, she saw that she had to kill her brother. "But why?" She asked, but noticing the look on the queen mother's face, she kept quiet, returning to take her seat. Kailua closed her eyes as she prayed it wouldn't be someone she loved dearly. Finally, it was Kailua's turn for the exhibition. She trembled as she walked out. She picked up a beautiful phone with tears and turned it back. It was her parents she was to kill. She let loose her tears as she walked to take her seat. They all were crying except the queen mother and her entourage. Soon, the exhibition was over. The queen mother had told them that they need to complete the task within three days. "Doesn't she have a heart?" Someone asked. "She doesn't." Another said wiping his tears. "I believe that when you stay long as a witch, you won't have a heart." They looked at Kailua who sobbed quietly. "Your parents?" They asked her and she nodded. "I love my mother also but I will need to kill her unless I will be considered a spy." Someone said. "What will be done will be," Kailua said and got up. She walked to her floor and barged into Meni's room. "What is it, Kailua?" Meni asked. "Did you murder your loved one?" Kailua asked. Meni took a deep breath looking at Kailua. "I did murder my aunt." She replied. "Who are you to murder?" "My parents," Kailua said. "It's okay; so far, it isn't Doula who you want to initiate," Meni said without remorse. "Are you that heartless?" Kailua angrily asked. "Are you really angry with me?" Meni asked and it came shocking to Kailua. "Not really," Kailua replied. "We don't have hearts," Meni said. "Meaning?" She asked. "When we kill, we do not care whatever happens," Meni said. "It gets to a point where we don't have heart for humans." "Is that the reason you said my bond with Doula must be broken before I can initiate her?" Kailua asked. "Yes, it is," Meni said. Kailua placed her hand on her chest as she felt pain. "What is it, Kailua?" Meni asked. "I feel pain in this region." She replied. "Which means Doula is weeping thinking about you," Meni said. "Doula!" Kailua called and the pain subsided. "Let's go out for dinner," Meni said. "Shouldn't I take this phone to my room?" Kailua asked. "You should," Meni replied. "I will wait over there." Kailua nodded and then left to her room. Minutes later, Kailua walked to Meni, and together, they left to have their dinner. .... Waking up the next day, Kailua walked to the small bathtub in her room and laid on the water. She began floating, and all she could do was smile as all the dirt in her body was washed off as she floated. Minutes later, she was out of the tub and dried her hair thinking of her mission. It will be necessary for her to spend a day or two with her family before exerting her plan. She wore a simple gown and then walked to join others in having breakfast. When they were done, the mother looked at the new people and called. "Whosoever out of you have a request to make, he or she should do it now." She said. Kailua raised up her hand while they all stared at her. "I need at least two days with my family." She said. "You were given three days to carry out your mission so you have the liberty to stay three days with them." The mother said. Kailua nodded to this. She was not going to make Doula meet her for the three days but was going to kill her parents. "Nisha is going to be sad seeing this," Kailua said to herself. "But it's better than wandering between their world and this world." Kailua smiled remembering the art gallery. "What if she wasn't a hunter." She thought then shook her head. "The witches are always correct." "You new housemates should go to your room and prepare for today's mission." The mother said. They all rose from where they were seated and made their way to their room. Meni caught up with Kailua. "Congratulations, I am so happy for you." She said. "You will be going on your first mission." Kailua looked at her and shook her head. "Anyway, I need to get to my room." She said. "Not so fast," Meni said. "You seem not to be happy." "I am happy." Kailua said. "I do not believe you," Meni said turning Kailua around. "You look sad."
