Harnik nodded. “What things exactly?” Dave's curiosity rose. “I have no idea. It seems personal.” Harnik said as Dave's face fell. “Why, something wrong?” “Madina works at the Dance Palace and she's very close to Natanie.” Dave muttered. Harnik furrowed his brows in silence for a moment. “This Natanie, who's she?” Harnik asked as Dave bit his lip awkwardly. “She's a woman _ I am strangely into.” Dave stated as Harnik's mouth formed into an ‘O’. “But strangely? You haven't accepted the fact that you like her?” Harnik asked as Dave bit his lip. Harnik got the point. “Okay so, what're your intentions, you wanna use this Madina Sorris to get your girl or what?” Dave eyed his friend. “Use? No Harnik, not ‘use’.” Dave reclined into his chair. “Then what? You don't ask these things for no reason.” Harnik's brows raised in expectation as Dave ran his hand through his hair and leaned towards his friend. “I just want to know if they share some kind of special relationship.” Dave mumbled. Harnik folded his arms against his chest and stared intently at his friend. “A special relationship?” Dave gave a curt nod. “I wanna know if they're in any way related.” Harnik looked away from Dave and sighed. ** Cathera felt happy and sad at the same time. She had the marriage document almost at her possession but there's still something that has never failed to bug her for years and also something she has to be certain about. Her sister's demise. She had adopted Natanie when she was a child and she took care of her as her own. Her sister had given birth to a baby girl years ago but she stole her sister's child and somehow made her sister believe she had lost her baby. Afterwards, the two sisters had a big fight and separated. Thus, she's being looking for her sister, not in hopes to make up with her but she couldn't afford her showing up and finding out about Natanie. She's got big plans on the roll and she couldn't afford any mishap. Cathera has heard rumors about her sister's disappearance and subsequently the rumors of her death. But if her sister's actually alive, she has to make sure she gets rid of her. Because she couldn't afford to give back her sister's wealth and her daughter, and she definitely could not afford to lose it all. ** Dave walked quickly as though Harnik had given him the thumbs up to find out about Madina said Natanie. He had secretly watched them both and had a weird feeling about them that he couldn't describe. At first, he thought they were simply close friends but he was curious and had to confirm if there was something more. When he got to Madina's quarters, he got in and greeted her. “Hello Madina.” Dave said as he closed the door behind him. Madina was surprised to see the director in her quarters. “H-Hello, director.” “Dave. Please call me Dave.” He said and paced around her space slowly. “It's not my intent to scare you _” He began. “So I want to ask for your cooperation and I'd really appreciate it if you'll be free with me.” Madina hesitated before she nodded in agreement. “So, how can I help you?” She asked softly. Dave continued to pace round the room. “Do you a woman by the name, Cathera Mordrid?” Dave spoke directly. Madina froze at the thought of the name and her slightly fidgety hands made it obvious that she indeed knows the person by that name. Tears flooded her eyes gradually as she tried to blink it back because she remembered her daughter Olivia, whose death will forever keep her in constant torture, pain and loneliness. “By the look on your face, I believe you know exactly who I'm talking about. So please Madina, tell me everything you know about her. I'm asking in favor of a friend.” Dave sounded desperate. Madina observed Dave's face for a moment a looked away. She had lost her child at birth and her only sister was so far away. The loss of the two people that mean so much to her had been a thorough nightmare. “She's _ my sister.” Madina said as tears formed in her eyes yet again and protested to thread down her cheeks. Dave was mute as he expected more from her. Madina moved away from her spot and paced slowly round the room. “We separated after I lost my child, Olivia.” She swallowed the lump in her throat. “I'm really sorry to hear about the loss of your child.” Dave said softly. Madina shook her head. “I've lost everything. My daughter, my sister, everything! I've got absolutely nothing to live for.” Dave slowly approached her. “No Madina, you still got people around that love you. Take Natanie for instance _” Madina's face lit up a bit at the sudden thought of Natanie. “She seem more like a daughter to you than you care to admit, and I'm pretty sure she loves you more than a friend. So I bet you can admit she's worth living for.” Dave said to her. “Thank you so your kind words.” Madina smiled. “No, I should be thanking you for being honest with me.” Dave smiled back. “I gotta go now.” He mumbled and moved away from her. “Dave.” Madina called out softly as he froze on his tracks. “Can you do me a favor?” Madina asked as he hesitated for a moment. “Sure.” He nodded. “I have secretly noticed the way you look at her, and I'm pretty sure you feel something for her. So I ask that you look out for Natanie, please.” Madina said as Dave nodded. “I intend to and I will.” He said and walked out of the room. As he walked away, what does she know about me or my feelings? He thought. Then he quickly dialed Harnik's phone. When Harnik picked up on the third ring_ “What's up man?” Dave sighed. “Harnik, I got a clue.”
