“You've got back with Natanie?” Fredrick asked as Isabelle sighed. “Not really, she seemed vile to me.” She said. “Well, what do you expect? She should be. All the while she needed you and you weren't there? You've not been a good friend to her.” Fred muttered. “Yeah, but I'm not particularly sorry for everything that's happened but rather, I'll be sorry for her after I teach her a lesson for going near my boyfriend!” She said angrily. Fred snorted at her. “Tell me you're bluffing?” She scoffed. “Do I sound like I am?” She retorted. Fredrick grabbed her arm. “You better don't do anything stupid!” “I wouldn't count on that.” She frowned. “Now, let go of me this instant!” He released her and exhaled heavily. She touched her arm as if it's been fractured by his hard grip. “You are such a coward!” She muttered under her breath. “Very well then, I bet it'd be thrilling to watch Dave suffer!” He said thickly. Her eyebrows furrowed in disgust. “You'll do no such thing!” He nodded mockingly at her. “Now I guess we're even.” “Crap!” She infused. “You're better than getting back at Dave just because I wanna teach Natanie a lesson!” She hissed and immediately walked away from him. Fredrick stared grimly at her as his chest was inflamed. As Isabelle walked away, and with every step she took, she knew that nothing would stop her quest to keep Natanie away from Dave as long as she lives! *** Natanie’s stared at her parents gaily. She'd never talk that would be with her parents having dinner together so she smiled profusely. “Natanie, you seem very happy.” Kingsley said. Natanie scoffed. “Of course I'm happy because we're a great family having an extremely great dinner.” “Yes.” Madina said in excitement. “But there is also this sparkle in your eyes that tells a different story.” Natanie never knew that until now. “What sparkle?” She asked innocently. “Of course, that sparkle that tells us that you are in love.” Madina teased. “What? Of course not.” Natanie mumbled the last part. She instantly remembered she had kissed Dave and he'd kissed her back. She bit her lip at the thought to stifle her amusement. “Now tell us, who is he?” Kingsley asked. “Is it Dave?” Madina cut in. “Gosh, you both are imagining things.” Natanie let out a short laugh just to wave it all off. Then the thought that Dave had kissed her back and the feel of his lips against hers. Does he love her? What if he did, does it mean that he isn't in love with Isabelle? Or was he just stringing both women at the same time? She thought. “Dave?” Kingsley furrowed his brows and nodded almost instantly. “He's a gentleman and quite a match if you ask me.” “Stop it, both of you. I've told you that you're imagining things. I'm not in love with anyone.” She whispered the last part and found herself smiling recklessly. Speaking about love, does she love Dave? Is he a match for her? Does the way he kissed her encapsuled in a more physical attraction? Was he using her? But was she his solace? She couldn't understand any of it but it was strangely thrilling. She smiled. “There goes the sparkle again.” Madina announced as Kingsley grinned hard. *** After the morning rehearsals, Natanie picked up her little bag from where it was tossed, and then a well folded paper fell off the bag to the ground. Natanie picked it up and threw a quick glance at Sharon who stood beside her. “What is that?” Sharon asked as Natanie shrugged and opened it. “It's a warning.” She mumbled. “A warning? What does it say?” Sharon asked with something akin to nervousness. ******** If you don't want to loose either of your parents, stay off of Dave! It's not a request, it's a warning! ********* “What is it about?” Sharon asked again. Natanie handed over the small paper. “See for yourself.” Sharon sighed at the content. “And what's this Sunday to mean?” “Literally what's written there.” Natanie said and thought about the night she kissed Dave. “Someone must have seen us.” “Us? Who?” Sharon was obviously bewildered. “Sharon, you see…” Natanie trailed off. Sharon's glare made Natanie's legs feel wobbly. “I kissed Dave the other night and I fear someone might have seen us…” “What?”
