I couldn't put the two together, why was the both of us attacked by the cheerleaders?, why can't I find Stella?, if this was kind of a prank or something, then they definitely went too far, extremely far, but it wasn't anything like that, they stared at me with hate while they were on it, more like they were taking revenge or something, maybe I should seek her out, I should find Stella, she definitely knew about this, I don't know the reason, all I know is that she's probably behind this, since the whole cheerleaders were there except her, I can't say that I did anything to be striked, neither did Jackie, unless there's something I don't know.
I haven't seen her, I have been searching around with my eyes but couldn't find her, was she even in school today?, The others were serving detention, maybe she went there to accept the punishment with them.
I opened the detention class, pretending that I lost my way here, the teacher's eyes were on me, thinking that I was one of the students here to serve punishment too.
“ Oh sorry Sir.... I think I lost my way, it was a mistake....”, I left, not allowing him to ask questions, knowing that he's possibly processing the act from me, definitely going to ask the principal whether he sent another student to him, that's what they actually do, always happy to find students locked in there with him. I didn't see her there either, all of them glanced at me when I broke in, but I was fast to leave without seeing much reactions coming from them. I guess I will just go and hangout with my friends then, it's almost lunch.
Coming into the cafeteria, I saw Stella seating with Frankie, Drew and Francis, they were all finding whatever she's saying to them funny, can clearly see the grin on their faces, one of them whispered about my presence to her because she turned around and saw me standing by the door, looking displeased, she stood from her position and walks towards me, I thought she was coming to approach me, but she walks past me, I looked at my friends who were still laughing about whatever it was, I followed suit after Stella.
“ Hey..... I've been searching for you all day, it seems like you're bearing a grudge against me or something?....”, I stopped her by holding her arm, she looked at me from head to toe repeatedly, then looked at the arm I was holding her, “ Are you assaulting me?...”, she asked as I immediately removed my hand from hers, looking confused about all this, back at the Orphanage, things weren't this confusing with girls, not like I have ever been in a relationship with any of them, so all this were still New to me.
“ I'm sorry about that Stella, I wasn't trying to assault you.... Your friends striked me this morning and I don't know why?....”, I said to her.
“ So what are you complaining to me for?, Are you not a Man to take care of that than complaining to a lady to solve your issues....”, she barked at me.
At this point, I am totally confused, is she questioning my masculinity or what?, I wanted to know whether she knew about her friends act, I know she knew, but I wouldn't confront her straight away asking why she had to do that, but here she is saying that me, Jones was complaining to a lady for my problems, impressive.
She walks away, leaving me standing there alone like she wasn't the one I came for, showing me a number of disrespect in a single day, I watched her go and right now, I was lost of words, I will get back to that later, but for now, I have to seek for information from my friends, maybe they knew about the attack this morning and the reason for it.
“ Hey guys... I seem to be in a fight that I know nothing of, Stella is way pissed off at me and I have no clue about it, does any of you know why she's angry at me, just help me out here....”.
The three of them laughed amongst themselves, if not that I seek answers, I would have walked away, sometimes, it feels like I don't even know them, sometimes they seems to act nice, this is one of the time, one of the times the seem way distant than close.
“ I thought you always judged us for our moves, saying that the way we live is not a significant way of life, but now, here you're, Mr right doing exactly the same...”, Drew said as the three of them burst out in laughter again, I stood from there about to walk out, the students around all looking at me and removing their eyes immediately I look their way.
“ By the look of things Jones, I believe you really doesn't know what just happened to you.... Okay lemme spill the beans at you friend, the whole school already knew of your act, cheating on Stella with a common girl no one knows about, pictures were taken, video clips were made and everyone here knows about it, so the act in which you are acting oblivious to is already clear to everyone, you can check the school website, someone uploaded it there, best you always read the News to stay updated everyday....”, Frankie finished as I walked away from there.
I was searching for Jackie, I have to see her, she's definitely crying because of the problem I have gotten her through, she doesn't deserve that, my mistake shouldn't have affected her, someone was snooping around, looking for when to strike me, now I have gotten her involved just by hugging her yesterday and telling her that I was taking care of the situation with Mother superior.
What have I gotten us into?.
