Sitting down on the chair with my hands relaxing on the table before me, I was in thought, in total confusion, not knowing what to do about any of this. Should I really go meet Mother superior tomorrow and tell her that I don't want to see whoever they found as my Mother?, The more the clock ticks, the more complicated life gets, I just can't imagine the next thing that would pop up the next time, every new day gives birth to something else, this time, it has given birth to something I never looked up to, it has given birth to my biological mother.
“ Evening honey..... What's bothering you this time honey?, The last time I saw you like this, it wasn't good.....”, her hand was placed on my shoulder as she speaks, I bent my head, rubbing my cheeks on the back of her palm rested on my shoulder, she stayed that way, standing by my side, allowing me to carve into her touch before I placed a kiss on her knuckles, before dropping my left palm on top of her hand.
Now seated beside me, I can clearly see the bump she was carrying, I put my hands on her tummy with a smile on my face, then I looked at her face, seeing the same smile placed there.
“ You know babe, no one can predict what the future has in store for him or her, I never knew back at the Orphanage, that I would one day be here with you on my side, our child growing inside of you, a parents to a child..... With you by my side, I am totally blessed ”.
She put her right hand on my hair while I kiss her tummy, resting the side of my face close to our unborn child while her palm keeps moving around my hair, massaging my brain, releasing all the thoughts bothering me, “ Mother superior called me this evening, said that I should come to her school before nine in the morning, that she's taking me to see my birth Mother.....”. She pulled my head back, her eyes on my face, as if she could see answers to her unasked questions on my face.
“ Is that what you was thinking about when I returned moments ago?....”, she asked while I just nodded my head, I guess she now knew what I might be going through in my thoughts, how will she feel if Mother superior tells her exactly the same thing?.
She brought me closer to her body again, as I was kneeling right before her, face placed on her tummy on our unborn child while she hugged me tight, “ I don't know what might be going through your mind honey, but this you should know, it's always a hard decision to let go of your child, I don't know there reason or even mine, I don't know how they ended up with that decision, but here's what I want you to know, I have already forgiven mine, even though I don't know them, I have already forgiven them and I hope you do the same....”.
Sometimes, I don't know whether she reads my mind or something, she wasn't congratulating me or persuading me that this was my opportunity to go see my parents, but instead, what she was thinking about was exactly what was inside my head, she's just a woman who lives in my heart and possibly knows all that's in there.
She said she would be going with me, she has already rescheduled herself to blend in with this journey, I really don't know how I feel right now, I am having this drive that I want to see her without wasting anymore seconds, yet I don't know how I am going to feel standing before her, or the answer I am going to get When I ask why?.
On getting to Mother Superior's school, I saw that the prosecutor was there too, I already knew he has a hand on this discovery because he's just investigating me, looking into everything about me, guess David's mom really hired a professional to bring herself down, yet find me my mother.
I shook hands with him, not knowing he was going to be here, mother superior never told me that he would be. “ Guess the more I look into you the more interesting it gets, quite a life for a boy at his twenties, haven't found any bug in you yet and feels more like I am wasting my time digging deeper.... From what I have seen lately, I would say you're an onions, the more you cut open, the tears you bring to my eyes, yet here you are standing strong, my respects.... I believe this is a family visit and it's about time I give up on your case and look into something beneficial, your step mother who hired me for this seems like she has a lot of bugs, guess her moves exposed nothing but her, she's now my new hunch, will get back to you later, will be heading out on my way now ”.
He left like he always does, walking away immediately he was done talking, guess he has a lot of things he's working on, never going to bother him while he works on providing me innocent.
We got to the address given to us, it was a six story building and it states that she's living on the third floor, we made our way up until we got to the entrance door, I took in a deep breath and exhaled, not knowing what I was feeling inside my head, guess I should just get on with it, I looked back at my woman who gave me a slight nod with her head, then at Mother superior who did exactly the same thing by giving nodding her head, I guess this is it, I knocked on the door.
