The door was opened for us, and there stood a woman who seemed to be at her late thirties or middle thirties I can say, she first looked at me, then at Jackie standing by my side before getting her eyes on mother superior standing behind us by Jackie's side, she then stepped away from the door, allowing us to enter without questions.
I feel like hesitating a bit, not knowing whether moving in should be the right choice, but still I saw myself gently matching into the space given to us as Jackie followed behind me.
There's this thought going on inside my mind, is this my mom?, She's the only one we have seen here for now, but she's way too young to be my mom, at least in my eyes. We all just sat down, a boy came out from the inside, stoping by the door to the sitting room where we were, those big eyes staring at us looks quite a lot like mine, I don't know who he was or if he was related to the woman we came for, but those eyes looks exactly alike with mine.
The little boy was carrying a small sized football in his hand, and just stood there, staring at us, to make the feeling seem genuine, I decided to break the lock, smiled and waved my hand in the air to him, he ran away immediately, from our view, I turned to Jackie who was putting on a smile, it's as if she finds my gesture to the little boy funny.
The young woman came out from the inner room carrying a bottle of wine with her, to show that she's welcoming her visitors, at least that's what it looks like. The little boy came out with her this time, hiding behind her, the woman doesn't have the same eyes like the kid, I guess that whoever is the mother to that kid is the woman we actually came here for, the woman here might just be a babysitter.
She sat down with the little boy standing at her knee side, eyes on us but in the shadows of the woman, as if he doesn't see visitors often. None of us has spoken anything yet and I believe she knows what we're here for, maybe she's just sitting for now in place of the woman we came for, maybe she's still inside.
“ You have the eyes of my mum, just like Michael here....”, she said, bringing the boy beside her knee to her front for us to take a good look at, her eyes began to water but she quickly cleaned it away as if she doesn't want us to see. Her eyes were mostly focused on me rather than the others around.
“ This is Grace, she used to work at the Orphanage as a cleaner until for some reasons, she had to leave the Orphanage against her will, but for a reason to secure key information that might ruin the both parties....”, Mother superior said.
Wait!, Was she talking to me?, Mother superior was staring right at me, I thought she was speaking to both me and Jackie or maybe the babysitter too, but no, all her attention was on me and I am a little bit naive to understand what she's saying right now.
“ Wait, so you mean she used to work at the Orphanage but have to leave for unknown reasons....”, I asked, Mother superior exhaled, looking like she wasn't telling me everything, she's still holding back some key informations, she wouldn't expect me to understand what she's saying when she's not giving me a clear information, I can't just jump into conclusions based on my thoughts.
“ I actually didn't say unknown reasons, but she had to leave for specific reasons which is why we're here....”, mother superior said again. If what I am thinking is correct, then what she's trying to say is that this woman sitting before us is my mother.
I turned back to the woman who was already crying, her little boy's back was on her while he stares at me with those eyes, probably having that feeling that this man here has the same eyes as him. With his back turned towards his Mother, he possibly didn't know that his mom was already in tears, our mom.
“ Does the specific reasons mean that she has to leave because of the pregnancy?...”, I asked, mother superior nodded her head repeatedly, “ she had to leave for giving birth....”. 
The more this goes, the more into confusion I go in, I don't understand her yet, anyone at all, Jackie was silent, possibly feeling like there's nothing she can contribute here, maybe. I looked at the woman whose eyes were fixed on me, tears running down her cheeks as she continues trying to hold back the sobb, I looked at Mother superior, hoping she understands the meaning of my stares because I can't get myself to talk right now, when I do, I might break the dam I am trying to hold back.
“ You see Jones, there are choices which are being made, not because it will be good for any party, but because those parties need to be protected no matter what.... Has Grace decided to take you with her, people will talk, the girl who works at the Orphanage, giving birth to babies, people might bring up insignificant stories, they may began to say, this babies in the Orphanage are given birth to by the church members, or even by the sisters, useless stories will be brought on, I also couldn't leave her be in the Orphanage, not when things can still get found out, so I decided to let her go without your father's knowledge, she was sneaked out and until now your father doesn't know of her whereabout, he believes that she ran away, he never believed it at first, but facts show that he possibly should....”.
I was getting more confused with what she says, she keeps on bringing up more stories to the one we are already speaking of, “ I know what you're thinking, who's your father?.... Yeah, it's him, Caleb the Orphanage driver ”.
