Emilie feels like her whole face is getting warmer, so she tries to cool herself by drinking a glass of juice straight.
"Are you alright, sweetheart? You drank the whole glass of juice straight..." Amanda worriedly asks her.
"Oh, I'm feeling a bit warm and thirsty, Auntie." that was all she can say.
"Spring is almost over, and summer is now fast approaching. We can feel that it's getting warmer day by day." Lara enunciated.
While their mother and Auntie Amanda are busy chatting, Emilia and Emma started giggling.
"What's so funny?" Emilie snaps at them.
"You were blushing like a steamed crab awhile ago, Em." Emma answered.
"And it's all because of Jayden." whispered Emilie.
"Shut up!" Emilie hushed her sisters. 
"Everyone, the table is now set and ready, so let's go to the dining table for dinner!" Auntie Amanda suddenly announces, much to Emilie's relief. At least her sisters will finally leave her at peace.
All of them started walking towards the dining room to have a lovely dinner...

After a few minutes.
The Albreicht and the Doe family are having a good time chatting and eating dinner. Everyone enjoyed eating the delicious dishes and everyone's in a happy and relaxed mood.
"I know that we might be imposing on you too much, but we have a favor to ask of you, Emmett and Lara." John suddenly spoke.
"What is it, John and Amanda? We are willing to help you in any way that we can." Emmett enunciated.
"John and I needs to fly to the United States to visit my old parents and stay with them for a month. The problem is, Jayden can't come with us because there's still school, and it's impossible to file a long leave of absence as they are going to graduate soon. So, we were thinking if it's possible to let our son stay at your house, until we're back home." Amanda relayed her problem.
Emmett and Amanda looked at each other for a few seconds, then afterwards, they turned their attention back to John and Amanda.
"Of course, John and Amanda! We don't see any problem welcoming Jayden into our home. We're already a family by affinity so he's always welcome at any time!" Lara agreed right away.
"Oh, you're both lifesavers, Emmett and Lara! We know that our helpers will be able to take care of Jayden, but we feel that he should have a bonding moment with the girls as they practically grew up together. And the four of them can go to school and go home together!"  Amanda happily pronounced.
While the adults are happily talking, Jayden, Emilia and Emma are talking to each other, while Emilia was just eating silently in her own seat.
"Welcome aboard, Jayden!" Emilia excitedly said.
"I hope you enjoy your stay with us." Emma said as well.
"Thank you Emilia and Emma." Jayden said in return.
"Aren't you going to say something to Jayden, Emilie?" Emilia encourages her sister to speak, as her eyes sparkled in amusement, same with Emma.
"Just like what Dad and Mom said, you're always welcome at our house, Jayden." Emilie forces herself to speak.
Jayden stared at her straight in the eye with a smile on his face.
"Thank you, Emilie. It means a lot to me." he replied.
"Yay! We can hang out together just like the good old days!" Emilia happily enunciated.
Emilia, Emma and Jayden started chatting with each other, already making plans during his homestay. Meanwhile, Emilie is just listening to them, as she is still confused with the sudden turn of events.
"Jayden is going to stay with us for one whole month! They will be together for twenty four hours a day, seven days a week! How can she face him everyday without feeling awkward?" those are the things that is going on her mind right now, and she feels like going crazy!

St. Therese's Cafeteria.
Emilie and Claire are currently eating lunch at their school's cafeteria. Emilie told her best friend about what happened at the intimate dinner party at Doe's family house, and the possibility of Jayden staying at their house for one whole month!
"Wow, this sounds like a daytime soap opera, or a romantic-comedy movie! So, how do you feel that there's a possibility of you and Jayden staying at the same house for one month? You're going to see each other twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week?" Claire curiously inquired.
"I really don't know what to say and feel about it, Claire. But actually, my sisters are so excited and happy because they really like Jayden and they treat him like their long-lost brother." relayed Emilie.
"And how about you, Em? Do you treat Jayden just like a brother? Or do you feel something else for him?" Claire did another follow-up question.
Emilie fell into a deep thought after hearing Claire's question. She and her sisters and Jayden are always together, ever since their diaper days. They practically grew up together, went into the same school, celebrated every birthdays and summer vacations, Christmas and New Years together with their own set of parents. They are almost a family by affinity.
But the question is, what does she really feel about Jayden? She is very much aware that he's getting cuter, and he is getting more and more attractive. Maybe she's having a crush on him, but she's not 100% sure yet.
She's also wondering on what Jayden really thinks about her? Does he think of her as a childhood friend, an enemy or something else?
Emilie shook her head wildly, as she snaps out from her thoughts.
"All I know is I have to beat Jayden on getting the first honors in our batch. I should be the Valedictorian, and not him. I have to study my butt off so that I can be number one!" she firmly stated, while banging her fists on the table.
"Whoa! You're really going out to beat Jayden, huh?" Claire enunciated.
