The next morning.
The sunrise is already lighting up her room, but Emilie is still wide awake. She didn't sleep a wink last night for some unknown reason. She almost tried everything for her to fall asleep last night. She tried drinking a warm glass of milk, she tried doing a bit of exercise to make herself tired, she also tried watching some movies on the television, and last but not the least, she tried reading the most boring book on her bookshelf but she wasn't able to fall asleep.
There's no use for her to stay in her bed longer. Eventhough she feels groggy because of her lack of sleep, she forced herself to get up from her bed. She decided to go out to the balcony to breathe in some fresh morning air and maybe it can help her be awake.
And just like what she expected, the crisp and fresh morning wind immediately greeted her as soon as she steps out to the balcony. She admired the wonderful view of Sunday morning. She breathes in a gulpful of fresh air and she feels a little better now.
Her eyes roamed around the area, and her attention is instantly caught by none other than Jayden.
She saw Jayden doing his morning jog around the wide and spacious garden. She can't help herself but to watch his every move.  He looked so serious with his exercise, and it was clear that he's sweating a lot.
She is quite impressed of his perseverance to stay fit, because it only mean one thing. He is truly dedicate with his position as the basketball team's captain, and he is motivated to improve himself for the better...
Emilie suddenly stopped surveying Jayden when she suddenly saw her sister, Emilia walking towards Jayden while she's carrying a tray of food.
"Morning, Jayden! Why don't you take a quick break and have a light snack?" Emilia suddenly calls out for Jayden.
Jayden instantly stops jogging, and smiles at Emilia while walking towards her.
"Thank you, Emilia."
Emilie watches Jayden and Emilia as they sat  at the table and seats at the garden. She felt a twinge of annoyance while watching the two.
Jayden and Emilia are talking and laughing together and they seems to be enjoying themselves.
Emilie suddenly did a double-check on her feelings when she realized something.
"Why am I getting so irritated by just watching Jayden and my sister happily talking to each other?" asked the back of her mind.
She can now see Emilia wiping Jayden's forehead with a towel.
"Hmm... Maybe it's time for you to admit that you're feeling jealous of Emilia because of her closeness with Jayden?" her heart started teasing her.
Emilie shook her head wildly, as if shaking those absurd thoughts.
"There's no way I would feel jealous of Jayden and Emilia! Sure, Jayden's cute and attractive, but I don't have a crush on him! Over my dead body!" she defensively whispered to herself. 
She decided to go back to her room to calm herself. It's too early for her to be thinking like this, and she should try her best to not think anything negative and be affected by Jayden's presence...

Emilie, Jayden, Emilia and Emma are all chilling out at the living room, while watching some movies and snacking on some food. They're watching a teenage television series wherein a group of high schoolers are doing their Pep Rally Bonfire at their respective high school...
"Well, I suddenly remembered that we're going to have our upcoming Bonfire Night High next week, and it's one of the biggest event at St. Therese's High. Are you planning to attend the event, guys?" Emilia suddenly asked everyone.
"All the varsity players at school are required to attend, so yes, I'll be there." Jayden immediately spoke.
"Jayden's right. As part of our school's volleyball team, it's also a mandatory for me to go to the Bonfire Night." Emma nodded in agreement.
"How about you, Emilie and Emilia?" Jayden asked the other two sisters.
"I'll definitely be there! As the President of our School Organization, I have to be present there!" Emilia proudly enunciated.
Jayden, Emilia and Emma suddenly stared at Emilie, waiting for her to answer.
"Claire told me that she's going and she asked me to come with me... So I have to go." Emilie casually answered.
"Great! We're all going! This is going to be our last Bonfire Night, so we have to enjoy that night..." Emma stated, while looking thrilled.
The truth is, Emilie doesn't really want to attend the said event. But she already promised her bestfriend Claire that she's going with her, and she is the type of person who doesn't break a promise to someone.
"----I can't believe we're going to graduate soon, guys. Time flies so fast, and now, we're bound for College." Emma suddenly enunciated.
"You're right, sis. So that's why I'm gonna make sure I'll have lots of fun and be responsible at the same so I don't have any regrets when I leave St. Therese's High." Emilia nodded in return.
Emilie was taken by surprise when she caught Jayden staring at her. When they eyes suddenly met, Jayden quickly averted his eyes away from her.
And it left her wondering...
Why is Jayden staring at her? Did he want to say something to her? And if yes, what does he want to say to her?

Their School Principal calls for an assembly meeting at the school's wide field. The principal is standing onstage, while holding a microphone on his hand, as he's talking about the upcoming Bonfire High Night. 
"As you all know, the Bonfire Night going to happen this coming Friday. The event will start at 7pm, and it will end at 11pm. Make sure you'll secure a signature of your parents on the authorization form. And make sure that your parents or your guardians will drop you off and pick you up for your own safety, okay?"   their school strictly reminded all the students.
