Chapter 6 Protective of the woman he had just seen

“That’s why I’m here, isn’t it? I will tell Love myself what Mitos had wanted me to tell her. I made a promise to him,” Cameron stressed out.
Love needed to know that Mitos still wanted to be with her. Hopefully she would forgive him for all the mistakes he made. Mitos was not a bad person. But like everyone else, he was not perfect. He also makes mistakes sometimes.
"You would also tell her about the accident and him being in a coma?”

He suddenly thought about Marvin’s question. Would he be able to tell Love that she may not be able to be with the man she had been waiting for?
He sighed. “I don’t know if I can tell her. Love might get depressed when she finds out about Mitos' condition. She already had a lot of things going on in her life, learning about Mitos’ condition will only add to her worries.”
“Your plan is a bit vague, Boss. You might only make her more upset and not believe you.”
"Why would she not believe in someone as handsome as me?”
“Boss, the girl is just blind, not stupid. She will still ask where Mitos is, why she wouldn't be able to visit him or talk to him. Mitos must still be the one to face her. But since he is in a coma, you still have to tell her the truth.”
Cameron’s head hurt. He wanted Love to know how Mitos feels about her. At the same time, he also doesn’t want to hurt Love when he tells her that Mitos may never come back.
He suddenly became protective of a woman he had only just seen. He did not know why. He was not like that with other women.
With all the struggles she had been through, he doesn’t want her to get hurt even more. She was a special and tough woman. And he would not allow himself to hurt her.
"What's your plan now, Boss?"
He leaned back and closed his eyes. “I still don’t know. Let's just follow and observe her for now. I want to get to know her better.”
“Fair enough. If she already has a boyfriend, it might be confusing if you tell her about Mitos, Boss. ”
Love…already have a boyfriend? What kind of man would that be? That man might just play with her feelings and take advantage of her situation. He had more reasons to keep a close look after her now.
LOVE MADE A thumb’s up sign. "We had a great day today. We made a lot of money. ”
She continued munching on her dinner. It was six o'clock in the evening now and she had left the mall at five o'clock earlier. Another singer would perform from afternoon until night time, while Lovellia prepared to go to her other work after dinner.
She had an appetite and looked forward to working tonight because the income is really good these days. That means she doesn't have to be depressed and deprived herself of food. She can breathe easily and has nothing to worry about.
"I agree. We easily had a thousand at the start of your performance,” Bham said. She would return to the mall after dinner to look over the band members who were still playing until the mall closes. "And we have an invitation next week to perform for a Senator's party."
Lovellia applauded. “That is so great! Lots of money and lots of food.”
She immediately computed mentally how much money she would get from that gig. But definitely, it would be a big deal for her and her bandmates. And of course, a free food as a bonus was great as well.
She was not able to taste great food because she couldn’t buy one. Life was hard. She couldn’t even treat herself for a Jollibee meal on her last two birthdays. All she ever had in her life was problems after problems. So she learned to be happy with the little good things that come to her life once in a while, like delicious free food.
"That handsome man must be our lucky charm."
Lovellia scooped up the dish again and placed it on her plate. “A handsome man? You mean, the one who requested Till I Met You and gave us a one thousand tip?"
“Why? Have you ever seen another handsome man give us a big tip? There was no other handsome man besides him who showed up there.”
“How would I know? I am blind, remember? ” she said innocently.
“Pretty sure that if you really are blind, you would have wanted to see because of him. He looked like a celebrity. My God! I almost fainted when he talked to me. ” Bham rubbed her chest as her eyes twinkled. “I almost lost my shit when he looked at me. He was so handsome and seemed very rich.”
Lovellia just sighed as she imagined Bham's close encounter with that handsome man. Earlier, when he was just watching her from a distance, she already felt something different from the way he gazed at her. Weird. No man has ever affected her so much with just a simple stare. Well, there were many handsome men who gave her this kind of attention, but it was really different from that particular handsome man earlier.
Not to brag, but people said she was beautiful. And she believed they were not just pulling her leg. Many also tried to court her but backed out when they learned that she was blind.
"What was the name?" she asked casually.
“I don’t know. I was so mesmerized by his handsomeness that I forgot to ask his name. Then he just gave me that one thousand bill and said he wanted you to play his favorite song.”
“Oh, really? He seems annoying. Out of all the songs in the world, he had to ask for that song. I hated that song.”
Lovellia did not want Bham to notice she was that interested in that man. She knew she should not invest too much time in thinking about him because a man like him would never be interested in someone like her.
She was just intrigued as to why his stare affected her that way. The heat from his gaze was really making her feel…strange. It was nothing like the way other people look at her. Those looks were a mix of pity and mockery. But that man…he looked at her as a woman. As a beautiful woman.
