Chapter 70: Untamed Allies My head was hurting badly when I was listening to their report back then, I was very pleased, and those Alphas sounded good. What a disappointment when I met them. “You must have plotted your revenge meticulously.” An Alpha my age said while sitting informally. “Yeah, you should’ve planned this flawlessly since you already call us. When-“ “I doubt she already has. Judging her pack, it was barely stable, she should have fixed her pack before that in my opinion.” Another Alpha spoke. I did not foresee that gathering Alphas in my pack would be this chaotic. They may be sat peacefully but they kept throwing sharp remarks at me. I secretly massage my head. “Are you sure you should move now? As I could see your army hasn’t gotten any muscle.” I saw how my Deltas react to that, but they choose to let me handle it. And it was followed with countless support and even added worse comments. “I’d appreciate it if you’d shut your mouth.” They all shut their mouth and all eyes were on me. “Chill, your horns are showing off.” And that snapped me, Miradel spoke with a full grin. “Who told you I was hiding that, Miradel?” I looked at the werewolves around the table. “Do you even realize your behaviors since you set a foot in my territory? I was on the verge of kicking you all out of my pack, don’t try me.” “Then why don’t you?” The female Alpha said. “Cause that’s what you planned all along, and I hate lame setups. You could have put much effort to insult me so I would not suspect your motive. Don’t mock me.” They did not know how pissed I am. “You need us, aren’t you going to treat us, right?” Miradel asked and big-headed Alphas agreed. “If you don’t want, then leave.” She stood and looked straight into my face. “This little lad had to learn her lesson.” She absurdly spoke. “You should know who you’re talking to, you gathered these Alphas to help you, you should treat them with respect! They’re here to help you. At least show some respect.” Her heroic speech earned snorts from my Deltas. “You just look idiot, Miradel. You better sat down and keep your mouth shut. I don’t need your breath to poison mine.” “You brat-“ “I said shut it.” “What an-“ I roared loudly and eyed the old man who was about to speak. “Want to say something?” I asked while throwing him death glares. I guess I could not manage this without force. “Alpha,” I heard Linda call me. “If you do not agree to help me, instead of insulting me and my pack, just leave.” I harshly said. I think my pack could handle it alone. I rather die than beg them to cooperate. “Alpha, you must calm down.” I took three huge breaths to calm myself they were getting on my nerves. Miradel bravely stood expecting that someone would stand up to her and walk with her out. She took three steps before looking back. “Aren’t you going to stand up? She said she doesn’t need us.” She asked. “You heard it wrong, that’s not what I’ve said.” She looked around waiting for help, she must have forgotten she was the only witch in the group. “I thought your idiocy has lessened since you had stepped into such a position.” “Sat back, as far as I know, Trigonia sent you here, you are here for their presence; you are obliged to be here as I and the Trigonia leaders talked about. While the Alphas around you don’t hold any liability to me.” I eyed her sharply. “They came willingly, and I am sure you poisoned them along the way.” “How dare you-“ “Lady Miradel, you have no right to talk to Lady Zenith that way. According to Trigonia Law, any descendant of the tree Leaders of Trigonia must be respected in position or not. Especially Lady Zenith who was a direct descendant of Lady Minerva.” “And may I recall you are only my grandmother’s FRIEND. I’d love it if you know your place here, Miradel.” I added. “If your grandmother is here, she’d want me to have her position than you, you clearly had no potential to be a leader.” “Her FRIEND SLAVE.” I wanted her to remember what she was before my grandmother acknowledge her existence here on earth. “Only if my grandmother is here, she’d see how your head got big.” “If I am one of these Alpha, I would not help an ungrateful brat sitting like a queen, and even dare to call up a meeting.” “You might want your tongue intact, I suggest you keep quiet as possible. I don’t want to hear anything from you, act as if you’re not here if possible.” I shut her off. I eyed the Alphas around me, and no matter how they hide their motive, I could smell it. “Back to the business, I knew you knew about their allied pack.” I fully knew I opened the right topic. They tried to hide their interest but failed. “Black phantom is the closest pack to them.” The old Alpha instantly spoke. “But I think we shouldn’t skip the introducing ourselves part formally.” I successfully inserted that. I have been trying to plot how should I do that. And I hate I found it harder than killing. I stood up, I knew I should do it first. “As you all know, I am Zenith Alpha of Moonshine Pack. And yes, it is true that I am prideful, sarcastic, and have a sharp tongue. You may find me ungrateful, but I can assure you, I will never disappoint you. You are free to doubt my capability. You can see it for yourself if you want.” I faced my Beta, “This is my Beta, Linda. And my Gamma Lizo.” Lizo stood up and bowed his head. “Please meet my Deltas,” they all stood up. “Timor, Gunner, Gilo, Devon, and Lior.” The female Alpha stood up next, “I am Riva of Thorn Flower Pack.” She spoke and I smiled at her. The old man stood up, “Bonor of Raven Pack.” He said he might have killed me if he knew I killed his daughter. As Linda said, I could see the resemblance. The Alpha at my age did not bother to stand, “My name is Liam of Rebel Fang Pack.” The traitors as Linda said. No wonder. The Alpha who was older yet not old enough with a good body build stuck his hand out. “Alpha Flyn of Golden Lion Pack.” It was him who insulted my pack. I accepted his hand and shook it. The other Alpha stood up formally, as I could remember he hasn’t spoken badly. “I am Kiel the Alpha of Moon Yokel Pack, please to meet you, Alpha Zenith.” And the good man among all I presume. And the Alpha next to him made my heart almost jump, his aura seemed familiar, I think I knew someone who have the same aura as him. Mysterious and stood proud. “I am Titus of Grim Howlers Pack.” The Alpha had a human mate. And lastly, the only Alpha that pleased my eyes was, “I am Alpha Gado of Falcon Pack.” “Nice to meet you all, I hope your heart would find to trust every one of us. Let’s have a seat.” “Did you forget about me, or do you just want to insult me?” Miradel spoke when I did not let her introduce herself. “Neither,” I said and threw her a glare. “This is Miradel of Trigonia, as you can see, I also asked the witches’ help. I believe they have a great part in this war. Dion or should I say Venon was associated with the werewolf, humans, and witches. Hunters had been involved for a long time. And the witches had a great part too. I could not slip this part.” “Venon had been mysterious and surprisingly could pull strings easily. I could not draw her connection out, I knew for myself that she had more in her sleeve. This information is just the tip of what’s underneath. That is why I need you to widen my connection. Honestly, I do not know what is waiting for me…for us.” “How is she associated with the humans?” Alpha Titus asked.
