Chapter 76: Cold Memories
I tried to do not to fight more unless it was needed. I need to conserve my power. I cannot let myself overuse my power. They probably suspect that I was pregnant, her words left me hanging. I was surprised. I need to choose my fight now. He sent a battalion of the army, but he hasn’t shown himself again.

But at the edge of my eyes, I saw the black-capped man staring straight at me. I ran to him and attacked him using my claw. If he was a werewolf, he should shift but I never saw him shift.
“Who are you?” I asked him. “Why was he calling you Rylan?” I asked and kept attacking him. “HOW DARE YOU USE HIS NAME!” I shifted and attacked him furiously. He was too fast to avoid all my attacks so I shifted back and summoned my wand.
I flicked my wand and cast a spell, but he only pointed at me, and my wand fell.
“Alpha,” I heard Linda. I did not turn to her while avoiding his attack.
“Tell me not to kill him, Linda.” I glared at her, “When he wants to kill him, go on and tell me not to kill him!” How dare he use his name!
“Alpha please, he was just manipulated.” She shouted. I turned my head to leave him but he attacked me again. I created a shield, but he was able to break it. Lizo jumped in the middle and faced him.
My head suddenly hurt, I tried to keep my body still but I fell on the ground.
‘Mate,’ I was seeing myself in wolf form.

‘Why does she have to be a rouge?’ It was his memory of me. Then the scene of me killing his brother, and father. I was protecting Tasio.
‘Olive,’ he whispered.
‘Find her! Kill her,’ Vernon’s face was fuming anger, tears all over her face. Then the scene of him rejecting me. After pushing me to the cliff, he fell on the ground…crying?
‘She begged,’ he was whispering while silently crying.
‘To fool you, you did was right. Didn’t see how she protect that hunter?’

‘No buts! This is your fault! You killed your brother, and your father and left this pack hopeless! Do at least what make this pack safe. Erase her from your system! Do you hear me?’
She let him control him because he blamed himself for their death when it was my fault. He suffered more than I thought.

‘I don’t need a Luna.’
‘YOU ARE! Do this for your father, do everything for the pack he left for you!’ The scene shifted to another.
‘She’s alive.’ Venon said. ‘Kill her,’
‘Maybe we could give her another chance.’
‘You can still feel the bond? Did I tell you to reject her?’ That was why we both suffered without bond. He never wanted to reject me.
‘Are you in pain, torn, and hurt? It was all because of her. Make your brother and father proud. Prove to them that you are more than just you, prove to them that you can do everything for this pack. The pack that they fought for. The legacy they passed down to you. Hurt her, she’s hurting you. Make her suffer 'cause she’s making you suffer.’
The image of Aunt Zinny’s house burning, then I came. My nose was bleeding due to over usage of power. I fainted and Dion immediately run to catch me. Rylan was watching him. He cared.
‘She’s with another man, she has a new lover while you are stuck with her.’
‘I married another she-wolf first.’ He defended me.
‘And you’re the one who’s hurting! What a shame an Alpha is weaker than a mere rouge.’
‘Kill her!’ The image of my sneaking into his pack, he saw me but did not do anything. He’d fight me for a show, he’d hurt me for a show but never intended to kill me. He couldn’t.
Until I did not show up in his pack anymore, he was waiting for me to come and create a disturbance.
‘Beg her, beg her to come with you. We need her.’

‘Are going to let her live happily while you are miserable?’ When he begged, those were true but opposite agendas. He truly wanted me back. That was why I give in.
And then me, crying hard beside the dead body of Rylan. All the time that I was being stubborn he was hurting. He was hurting more than I. He was more miserable than I am. I opened my eyes and tears were pooling in my eyes. I looked around and everyone was around me. Doing everything they can to protect me.
“Dion,” my heart crashed knowing everything that happened to him. I closed my eyes, he suffered because of me. I ruined his life. Then I saw him walking into the woods, I ran after him.
“Dion!” He slowly turned to me, and he smiled warmly. He closed our distance and stood across me.
‘Thank you for freeing me. Please forgive me, my Olive. I love you.’ My eyes couldn’t hold my tears back and let him hug me. In my eyes, I watched him vanish in the air.
“Forgive me too, Dion. Free yourself from pain, I forgave you.” I whispered until I could not see him anymore. I wiped my tears, and I knew my comrade knew what happened.
I ran back to them and saw the black-capped man escaping with Venon. I shoot him with my arrow, and it hit his shoulder. “Alpha!” Linda instantly reacted. But I did not care anymore. I need to take Venon down, I wanted to rip her throat, tore every part of her body, and watch her scream in agony.
I shoot Venon too, but the witches suddenly appeared and helped her.
“Get her!” I heard, Miradel shouted to get Venon. I froze when I heard a heartbeat. Inside me.
I need to finish this.
“Kill her, Rylan!” She hid behind him.
“How dare you use his name!” I shouted and shifted. I jumped at her, but he got me. He threw me to the away and good thing someone caught me.
“I’m done with you!” I attacked him and ripped his cape. I clawed him hard as I could. I pushed him hard and jumped to Venon.
I clawed her face. “You’re heartless,” she managed to speak.
“Speak for yourself!” I roared loudly to make everyone bow.
“RRAAAAGHHHHHHH!” Everything went quiet. They should feel my pain! They should feel my anger! They should feel my sorrow. For her selfish ambition, she went too far to this. Invading witches and werewolves. But she was a simple girl too. When I did not kill her husband. Maybe I deserve all the pain, but those innocents should be out of this.
I mercilessly bit her neck and tore her head off her body.
Then someone pulled me from her but too late. He was about to punch me when I bit his fist. I saw him pull out a knife, so I used my hand to cover myself. He broke my ring and every memory about him came to me. I shifted back and looked at his face.
