" Thanks for the reminder... " Sushie said with a smile.
" Oh? I thought you'd be angry instead. " He said knowingly.
" Of course not. I wouldn't be so unreasonable alright? "
" Um... Sure you won't. But who knows... "
" Whatever... "
" So are you still going to have your food or are you still waiting for me to leave the room? "
" It's not like you'll leave if I tell you to anyways. " Sushie said.
" I am glad you know that... "
" Whatever. "
" So? Are you still not going to get up from that bed or are you planning to stay there forever? "
Sushie wanted to get up but Hesitated a little, " Well... "
" Come on. It's not like you'll get stained so easily. " He said as if knowing what's on her mind.
Sushie's ears turned red from embarrassment when she heard that.
" You know, I studied basic science in elementary school, I did biology in Highschool and I am also taking health science in medical school so there's nothing I don't know... "
" But you don't have to be so blunt about it! " Sushie said as she finally stood up..
" Sometimes, bluntness is needed when dealing with you. " He replied.
" Whatever. "
Seeing, Sushie sitting on the bed and about to open the food, Danny said.
" No , no. That's not happening. You are not going to sit and eat on the bed. "
" And where would I sit then? "
" Here. " He said, pointing at the space beside him on the couch.
" But... "
" No buts. You either do as I say or continue starving. "
" How Domineering! " Sushie grumbled but, she still obeyed.
She was about to carry the tray of food from the bedside table when Danny stopped her.
" I'll do it. Come sit first. " He said and Sushie obeyed.
He then stood up and then carried the tray of food from the bedside table before placing it on the glassy round table in front of Sushie..
Before Sushie would make a move, he beat her to it.
But not before making a comment that left Sushie completely red-faced, " It's not bad. At least you've learned to take care of yourself. '' Though his comment sounded innocent but the way he was staring at her said otherwise.
Well, we can't blame him for saying this since Sushie paid more attention to herself this time by tying up her hair in a ponytail, wearing a mid length dress and jeans trousers.
She also made use of the Powder, Face ointment and perfume.
Which was really unlike her.
" Whatever! You better mind your own business! "
" You are my business, aren't you aware of that? I am currently with the responsibility of shaping you into a fearless teenager who wouldn't hesitate to fight back! So of course everything about you is my business! "
" You...! " Sushie couldn't find words to retort.
" Anyways, it's time for you to eat. " He said while opening the cover of the food. It was a simple meal of custard and milk with no added sugar.
Sushie was surprised to see that the meal was custard, she has actually been craving it.
She was about to take the spoon when Danny beat her to it.
" Since I brought it up then I must taste the meal first. " He said as he took the spoon and spooned a few custard.
And, when Sushie thought he was going to eat it, He brought the spoon towards her instead.
" Open your mouth! " He said and Sushie compiled almost immediately and he fed her.
Sushie was really surprised at this, And when she thought he was going to hand over the spoon to her.
She was proven wrong once again as he continued feeding her till the plate was emptied out.
" Ah! Now I understand how tasking it is to be a father. "
" A father? " Sushie was confused by his words.
" Of course, a father. Taking care of you is like taking care of a child. So I know how it feels. "
" Whatever. It's not like I asked you to anyways. "
" But I had to, regardless of whether you asked or not. " He replied, taking his seat.
" You wish! "
" So my baby sis, She is a lady now, isn't she? " He teased again..
" And my baby brother is a man now. " She retorted.
" I have been a man since four years ago, so you lose. " He said with a sink.
" So arrogant! "
" Arrogance has Always been my second name. " He replied.
" Whatever! "
" Now I have this. " He handed over the glass of orange juice to her.
" Oh... " Sushie received it from him and then drank it all in one go.
Then, she handed over the cup to him and he dropped the cup back on the table.
" Good girl. " He praised her.
" Good boy! " Sushie replied back..
" I see you've got guts, ah! "
" Of course I do! I have to grow them if I really want to be strong. "
" You are right though. "
" Indeed… so I won this time didn't I? "
" You did. " He smiled.
