" Believing in yourself doesn't only involve convincing yourself that you are enough and you can do it. You also need to put it to action, remember action speaks better than words. " Brother Added.
" Okay... But I don't understand how the thoughts can be put to action? " I couldn't help but ask.
" I know you'll ask that question. " He said with a smile before his expression turned serious once again. " Many students study and boast that they'll be able to pass the test or exam. But you know, a lot of them don't really believe in themselves. Some depend on cramming while others depend on last minute reading. Not all of them believe they could pass exams without doing all of this. " He said.
His words only got me more confused.
" How is it possible to pass an examination without cramming and last minute revisions? I don't think it's possible to. " I said, sounding confused.
" It really is, it's just that a lot of students have been so used to that method, that they don't believe it's possible to pass an examination without doing those. "
" Really? "
" Yeah... You know, I really don't advise people to cram, you know why? " He questioned.
" I don't. Why? " I asked him in return.
" That's because, Things crammed might not stay for long periods in the memory. Oftentimes it always disappears as soon as one is done with the examination. "
" You are right. " I couldn't help but agree with him on that as I too had experienced it many times so I can testify to it.

" So, I think the best option is to believe in yourself that you'll remember all that you've read and study effectively. "
" Um... You are right. " But, Studying effectively involved? "
" Studying for a number of hours : Concentrating on studying only, during that period of time. Taking self tests in between studying to evaluate yourself and then doing some revisions of what you've studied by practicing past questions related to that subject. "
" You are right. But, I guess lots of students, especially the lazy ones like me, won't love to go through the Hassle of having to take self tests and so on in between studying. "
" You are right. The self tests and evaluation might not really be necessary if one has got a highly photographic memory. "
" Oh... You know, I really admire those that have photographic memory. "
" Haha.... I thought as much, you know you can also train yourself to have that kind of memory too, if you want. "

" Well... I wasn't born with the memory but I asked for it and worked towards having it so I can say now that I have got a photographic memory. "

" You're funny. Having a photographic memory doesn't mean I won't study more in fact I have to study more since I am gifted with it. "

" So being blessed with that memory doesn't mean I'll study less. "

" So what are your favorite subjects in science? " He asked.
" Um... Biology and Agric. "
" Oh... What about Chemistry and physics? "
" Well... I enjoy some topics in chemistry and I don't enjoy some. "
" Oh... Physics? "
" It's too complicated for my liking. "
" Really? " I could feel the surprise in his tone of voice.
" Yeah... I am not a fan of calculations. "
" I guess that explains it. But, Physics is really an interesting subject. It's almost like a puzzle that needs to be solved in the calculatory aspects. "
" That's to you. " I said with a frown.
" Um... I guess. Anyways, since you don't like calculations then I guess you might not be a fan of math too right? "
" Yeah... Though I enjoy some topics in it like : Arithmetic Progression, Geometric Projections, Circle geometry , Compound interests, Mixtures and Matrix. "
" Oh... What about Further math? "
" Well... It was interesting at first but, when I got to differentiation and the rest, it got very boring and uninteresting. "
" That's expected. I bet you enjoyed Permutations and Combinations. "
" I did. It was fun solving questions on those. "
" Okay.. so what about English? "
" Well... I don't have problems in English except the oral part of it. "
" Oh... That's not weird. If you had grown up here then you wouldn't have had much problems with it at all. In Fact it would have been a piece of cake for you. " He said.
" I guess you are right. Sadly I didn't grow up here. "
" No matter how it is, I believe that everything happens for a reason. Though others might disagree with me, I strongly believe everything that happens to a person happens for a specific reason, though that reason might not be Known but I still believe that there's a reason behind it, whether known or unknown. "
" You are right. "
" So in a nutshell, the subjects you are having problems with mostly are, Physics, Chemistry , math and further math, right? "
" Yes. "
" Okay... I believe we can work on that together. "
" Really? You'll help me? "
" Of course. Forgotten about the promise I made to you so soon? " He asked, staring at me with a grin.
" Um... I haven't. "
" Good. So yeah... We are going to do this together. "
