Chapter 13 Never Come Back

"An official letter from the alpha of split moon, Alpha Cole Richardson, to the Alpha of full moon, Alpha Evander Merchant."
He stopped a bit and the stenographer scribbled fast. That was the way of the packs in the three moons wolf country. They always used letters for official purposes.
"The recent attempt to attack the full moon pack by my delta, Delta Isabella Cullen, has been without my prior consent. It is not hidden from you that her erratic actions has caused us the loss of twenty soldiers, who has served this pack with so much dedication while they were alive. You can, as your offender, do what you see fit, but as my and my pack's criminal, she is hereby, banished from this pack. She is to never step foot in this pack and if she does, she can be killed on sight. This is my final judgment, by the power vested on me as Alpha of the split moon, chosen and anointed by the moon goddess to lead my pack to prosperity."
He finished, a glint of pride in his eyes. he had finally done it. Beta Chris had come undone when he found out, and he had ordered him to be taken home.
"Send it to them."
He said with a wave of his hand and he left. The itch was now gone.
"Evander, its been over two weeks."
Jake said, holding Evander’s shoulder.
"Please don't continue this way.”
Evander's eyes were tired and he let his weight fall, and Jake followed him to the ground
. "Where did I go wrong? I love her so much Jake. Its been just a month, but I have come to trust and love her with so much intensity. Was there really no other way?"
He was crying now and Jake was patting his back calmly, soothing him.
"It'll be okay."
"Jake? Is something wrong?"
He shook his head.
"What's wrong, Alec?"
Alec glanced at Evander, whose eyes were closed now.
"We got an official letter from split moon. I'm sure its related to what happened."
Jake looked at Evander, whose eyes were still closed.
"Read it out loud."
Alec read the letter out and after he finished, exchanged glances with Jake.
" Take Isabella to my room, Alec, she has nowhere to go."
"But, Evander..."
"Just do it. For your alpha."
Alec nodded and walked out.
"Are you sure?"
He didn't answer, but he could feel his head move, and he knew it was a nod.
"Why don't you sleep? I could take you to the other room.”
He nodded and he helped him up, trudging carefully down the stairs when they met Alec and Isabella.
"Evander..pl.."
"Get me away from here, Jake. I can't stand her."
Jake nodded and took him away, while Alec eyed her, chuckling darkly.
"You deserve that, traitor."
She flipped the middle finger at him and stormed off into the room, closing the door behind her. There, for the first time in a very long time, she cried. She cried for all the things she had lost, for all the people she had led to hate her, for the anger and hate and sense of betrayal she saw in Evander's eyes. She stopped for a bit, breathing, holding her chest.
"I can't stand her."
She remembered and broke down again.
Evander lay on the bed, staring out. She had looked so innocent that day, so pure. He could never have imagined. Did she hate him that much? Was he really that weak? Too weak for her? He rolled on the side, the tears starting to fall again.
"I love you, Bella. I just can't forgive you yet."
"Jake, stop doing this. Evander isn’t rational."
Jake didn't say a word.
"Jake. You shouldn't be silent. Give her the damn letter and send her out of this pack. A traitor like her doesn’t belong here."
They were right in front of her room and Jake was going to give her food, before Alex stopped him.
"What letter?"
Both turned to meet her stony gaze. Not even a ghost would have guessed that she had cried the night before. Alec faced her squarely. They were the same height and green icy eyes met black angry ones, and none was ready to back down. Jake slipped between them cautiously.
"Uhmm... Alec was....u hmm..talking about. Well, the letter...from split moon."
She raised a brow
"The alpha sent a letter to Evander."
He said more clearly. Her expression didn't change for some seconds, then she smiled, her eyes still holding the same ice and even Alec thawed.
"He banished me, didn't he? That son of a...."
She stopped, looking at both of them as their eyes widened.
"....bitch"
she completed, smirking. Whatcha gonna do?
"We are wolves, not dogs."
Alec said. She looked him over and grabbed the letter Jake was holding.
"Well, his damn mother was too puny to be a wolf, I mistook her for a bitch and he, a fucking puppy. Take that food away, will you?"
She slammed the door on their faces and both blinked rapidly.
"I swear, she has finally gone crazy. I swear."
Alec said, eyeing the door and Jake shook his head.
"Let's go." "
Wait, its Evander."
They stopped and closed their eyes.
"How is she?"
"Crazy"
Alec said before Jake could stop him.
"Crazy?"
"Evander, I think she's having a mental breakdown, so...."
Jake out in, nudging Alex and almost putting him out of the mind link.
"Okay, come to me, now. I want to catch up with all the workI left."
"But..."
He was out already. Alex rolled his eyes.
"Another crazy person in the making. Oh, shit."
Jake just shrugged and went down, Alec following closely behind.
She read the letter. She knew it was coming and it didn't bother her as much as she thought it would. She laughed at the irony.
"So now, I am actually a rogue...damn you, Cole."
She shut the letter and crawled in to bed, hoping to fall asleep before she fell apart.
