“Can I see the spot?” Dylan demand. This request was like a buffet to both Zack and Sonia.
“No” Zack and Sonia refused the same time. Sonia answered as though the pain vanished as soon as she heard the question.
“You haven’t found the leave you talk about” Zack reminded. This was to divert his attention from seeing the spot.
“Guy calm down. This is not the time for negative thinking. She’s your girlfriend, I know. I am not doing anything bad to her. I am not removing her ass or anything else. Do you permit me or not?”
Dylan hardly use such words so it amused Nazi and Mata. Nazi being so naughty couldn’t stop giggling. Zack found Mata’s giggles irritating. He hesitated before reluctantly permitting Dylan.
Dylan helped to raise the top up and her Jean shorts down. She had a very smooth spotless skin but that was not Dylan’s concern. He was concerned about the very spot the scorpion stung her. He found it further down.
“It is ok. You are seeing everything” Zack complained.
“Sorry, but I am not thinking what you are thinking”
“Seeing it will make you start thinking so, If not now it will be later”
“You can do it if you want. I will give you directions on what to do”
“I am not stopping you, just that…”
“I understand. The reason I chose to do it is that you won’t have the heart to do it well. You will pity her more than I can”
“Ok. Go ahead”
“Then try look away”
Zack looked a different direction but his whole attention was on what Dylan was doing. Dylan found the spot. It was stained blackish red.
“This scorpion venom must be different. Who has a sharper knife?”
Dina got one for him and he used it to make a quick cut on the very stained area to make the blood flow out. After pressing it out he demanded for a long piece of cloth. Nobody was offering then he walked up to Zack spontaneously, grip the lower part of his shirt and tore it round. Zack was surprised but he couldn’t do anything for Dylan was using it on his girlfriend.
Dylan folded it and pressed on the spot to control the bleeding and assured her quick recovery. She pulled up her shorts. They spent hours resting there chatting. Just as Dylan assured, the pain reduced. At least she stopped crying and fell asleep. Allowing her rest was what made them spend more time there.
As others were resting Nazi, Mata and Bond strolled to find something. There was a tropical tree they found with few fruits on it. The tree wasn’t very tall but where the fruits are was too high for their reach. They don’t know what kind of fruit it is but since they saw some of them eaten by birds and other arboreal they were certain that humans can also eat them. Nobody agreed to climb because it looks dangerous up there therefore they started throwing stones. Bond was too lazy to throw stones so he was going about picking stones and falling fruit. He was the first to taste to confirm if it was harmless.
“It taste really nice!” he confirmed. He took the ones he gathered to where Dylan, Zack and Dina were sitting watching over the sleeping Sonia. When Bond returned and there was nothing to pick he joined them to throw stones. All of a sudden his stone strayed, it struck a bee hive and scattered them. Nazi and Mata ran off immediately they noticed it while Bond stood there shouting, slapping them off his head.
He glued there until he was called out. And by then the wild bees have done to him all they intended to. Not long enough places the bees stung started swelling. He looked very ugly and funny. Mata and Nazi were stung too but nobody would notice theirs when Bond had what could draw all the attention on him.
“You look like a toad with these swellings all over you” Nazi joked as he helps him to pinch out the tiny black pins the bees left.
Sonia felt a bit relieved when she woke up. In as much as it was so the pain was the first thing she felt as she woke. She groans frequently. If anyone should talk about being relieved then it should be Zack. Seeing his girlfriend recovering was something to be happy about. He already lost hoping he would loose her.
