Myla gasped in horror at the sound of Henry's scream. What was that demon wolf doing to him?
She wanted to run inside and see but before she could, a hand reached out and held her arm.
She turned around and saw a man who looked oddly familiar. She tried to yank her arm out of his grip but that was proving to be a hard task.
“Let me go, what do you think you're doing?" Before the man could reply, Ares walked out of the waiting room and raised an eyebrow at the scene in front of him.
“What's going on?" He questioned in a low voice as he walked up to them. Myla couldn't help but frown when she caught a glimpse of Henry wailing on the ground while holding his arm. She turned to Ares and subconsciously took a step backwards. He had just done God knows what to Henry but he was here acting like nothing happened.
“Ares, she was about to walk into the room so I just stopped her" Ares glanced at her lazily then nodded.
“Let's go, I don't want to spend anymore time here" He muttered then walked towards the carriage and climbed in.
“Let's go" Myla turned to Cornelius as soon as he said that. She took a deep breath before nodding. She walked behind Cornelius then climbed slowly in the carriage and sat opposite Ares. She glanced at him and could see the fatigue on his face.
Myla couldn't help but wonder what he had been doing these days? Did he ever regret what he did to her father? By the little things he has done and by the things she had heard about him, it seems he was also a menace here too. She could see the fear in everyone's eyes as he walked towards the stage where she was being auctioned.
She clenched her fist tightly, she couldn't wait to be done with this mission and be rid of him once and for all.
Her eyes immediately widened when he suddenly turned to her.
“Don't look away from me now" He muttered as she was about to turn away from him. She looked him straight in the eyes and he smirked.
“ You are the second person that has looked me straight in the eyes like that" He murmured as he blinked his eyes lazily. Myla didn't know what to say so she just kept quiet and watched him.
“Ares, what do you plan on doing with her?" Cornelius asked.
“She's my slave, I'll think of what to do with her later. When we get back to the castle,take her straight to my room" Cornelius nodded.
“Alright" Myla frowned. Why was she going to his room? Was he really going to use her as a sex slave? If that was his intention then she would have no choice but to kill him tonight.

As soon as they got to the castle, Myla couldn't keep her mouth closed. The castle was far bigger than she had imagined. He was definitely not just staying here with his family, right?
As soon as they walked inside, Someone called out for Ares. They all turned to the voice and saw a guy walking towards them. Myla felt Ares Aura turn cold and she definitely knew he didn't like the guy.
Ares turned to Cornelius with cold dead eyes.
“Get her to my room and get back here" Cornelius nodded then took her hand and led her away. Myla turned back to watch Ares but he had walked away with that guy.

Ares walked towards his throne majestically and slowly sat down then sharply turned to Leo.
“What do you need from me, Leonardo?" Leo gulped then moved closer to him.
“I heard you went to the slave auction and I just wanted to know if you...."
“Cut the crap, Leo and get to the point" Ares muttered softly but that was enough to make Leo's breath hitch. He fell to the ground and knelt before Ares.
“I know I've done you wrong but I didn't mean to" Ares chuckled with no humor.
“It seems you've begun to forget your place here. How dare you pass down an order in my kingdom without my consent?" Leo shook on the ground but didn't dare raise up his head.
“I didn't think it was that much of a deal. We all hate Humans and we had enough of them as slaves so I thought we could....." Before he could finish his sentence,Ares super sped over to him, grabbed his neck then pinned him to the wall which impact was enough to shake the walls.
“You have no business thinking about the affairs of my kingdom. The next time I hear that you give out such orders without my consent, I won't think twice before finishing you off, Brother" Ares spat before throwing him to the ground.
“I'm.... I'm sorry. I won't ever do it again" Ares stared down at him.
“Good. Put this in your blank skull now,I hate people that don't know their place and I don't usually give second chances but since we are blood related, I'll show mercy to you but next time, I'll have your body decapitated and sent to the lycans" With that he walked away. He was too tired to say anything more.

Myla heaved a sigh of relief as soon as they got to Ares' room. It was at the top floor so they had to walk up a flight of stairs. Why did he have to sleep so far away from the others?
Myla looked around and saw no one else on the top floor but them.
“Is there anyone else staying on this floor?" Cornelius turned to her with a sharp gaze.
“Don't ask questions you don't want the answer to. Go inside and wait for him, do not leave this room till he arrives" Myla fought the urge to roll her eyes and just nodded then opened up the door and walked inside. She heard the door bang behind her but she didn't bother turning around. The room was so dark, she could barely see a thing. Not only was the light switched off but everything in the room was black and dark red.
Myla could care less about the room though, she wasn't going to be staying in here for long. She was probably going to be sleeping with the other maids. She moved towards the bed and sat down on it.
It was much softer than her bed at home. She didn't even realize that she was already lying on the bed. It was like it was pulling her in and she was too tired to fight against her sleepiness. She laid her head on the pillow with a sigh and immediately fell asleep.....
