Henry fell to the ground with wide eyes.
“Spare me Alpha King, I'll get her ready for you now" Henry uttered with a shaky voice as he knelt down on stage. Ares reluctantly looked away from Myla and stared down at Henry with a stoic Expression on his face.
“Leave him, Cornelius. Take her away and make sure she's ready in five minutes. I don't like to wait" And with one last glance at Myla, he turned around and walked away with Cornelius behind him.
Henry immediately stood up from the ground and grabbed Myla's arm.
“James, you can take care of the rest" James nodded and watched Henry dragged Myla away with a frown.

As soon as they got out of the auction house, Cornelius turned to Ares with a raised eyebrow.
“I thought you weren't going to buy any slaves? I thought you hated humans? What just happened?" Ares turned to him with a glare and he Immediately shrank back.
Cornelius cleared his throat then scratched the heck of his head nervously.
“I'm just worried about you man,you know what happened last ti...." Cornelius choked on his words as Ares grabbed him by the neck with his eyes blazing red.
“I thought I told you not to speak on that again?" Then he threw Cornelius to the ground. Cornelius immediately stood up and bowed his head.
“Sorry Alpha, I forgot my place" Ares turned away from him and walked away but before they could get far, Isabel ran up to him with a smile on his face.
“Ares, you told me you weren't going to come. Did you later change your mind because of me?" She batted her eyes at him with a happy smile on his face. Ares didn't feel like he needed to explain himself to her so he just kept quiet and continued staring down at her which seemed like a yes to Isabel.
She latched onto his arm and grabbed his biceps.
“That makes me so happy, Ares and I'm glad you came but I don't like that you bought that slave. Can't you return her back and take someone uglier?" Ares' gaze immediately turned sharp but Isabel didn't flinch.
“And why would I do that?" Isabel pouted.
“I just don't like her, she's too.... beautiful to be a slave to you" Ares raised an eyebrow at her.
“Whatever I do and whoever I'm with is none of your concern. If I have thousands of beautiful women stationed at my Chambers, that's my business not yours" Isabel frowned.
“But I'm going To be your wife soon and...."
“With this your behavior, I might just reconsider that" Isabel gasped and her hand slid off his arm.
“Cornelius, get Isabel back to her guards, I need to go see how my slave is doing" Cornelius nodded then turned to Isabel.
“Let's go" She turned to him then nodded and walked away.

Myla couldn't help but notice the huge smile on Henry's face as he carried her back to the waiting room.
“Why are you smiling like that?" Henry turned to her and narrowed his eyes.
“You don't speak to me in that tone just because you're the Alpha King's slave. You're going to wish you were back at the warehouse after he's done with you" Myla frowned.
“What do you mean by that?" Henry grinned.
“The Alpha King isn't known to be a monster for nothing. He hardly buys human slaves but the ones he had bought in the past are all dead. Rumor has it that his demon feeds on them at night but don't worry, you'll get to experience that soon" Myla's eyes widened. What an atrocity! That can't be true, can it?
Before she could think more on that, Henry grabbed her roughly and tied her hands with chains which ended up hurting her wrist.
“Ow! Be careful. Why do I still need to be chained down when I'm already owned?" Henry rolled his eyes but didn't reply to her.
“She's right, why are you chaining her?" Henry immediately froze then raised up his head and saw Ares staring at him with dead cold eyes.
“Erm... This is the normal protocol and no one has ever complained before. This girl is very cunning and might try to escape" Ares turned Myla and stared intently into her eyes.
“Will you try to escape?" Myla gulped. For the first time, she was actually rethinking this mission. He was definitely not the same young boy she met when she was younger. His tone was soft and calm but the aura around him told her that he won't hesitate to slit her throat if she dared defy him.
“I won't," Area nodded, then turned to Henry.
“Unchain her now!" Henry immediately nodded and unlocked the chains on her. After he was done, Myla turned to Ares with a nervous Expression. She had no idea how this worked.
“Come here" He said to her and she immediately obeyed. It was like his voice compelled her.
“My Beta will hand you your money" Henry nodded.
“Thank you for your kindness Alpha King" Myla watched as Henry bowed down to Ares and she couldn't help but frown. Yeah she bowed down to her father but not in this matter. They were treating him like he was a god and it infuriated her.
She turned to him with a glare before her brain could process it. Ares turned to her and their eyes immediately locked in.
Myla could only see one of his eyes but it was still the same shade as before but the difference was that his gray eyes held no warmth or hopefulness.
Ares was the first to look away and was about to walk away when he caught sight of the bruise on her wrist.
“What happened to your wrist?" He questioned without looking her in his eyes.
“The chains, one of them injured me but it's no big deal" He raised up his head and stared at her and at this Moment,Myla wished she could read his mind.
“Myla, go outside and wait there for me. This town is full of wolves and they hate humans so I suggest, you don't run away and get yourself killed" Myla nodded then immediately walked away.
As soon as she was gone, Ares stalked towards Henry with his red eyes. Henry shook with fear and fell to the ground.
“It was a mistake, please spare me" But Ares wasn't listening, He grabbed Henry's right hand and broke his wrist. Henry let out a pain filled scream as he slumped to the ground.
“Next time, be very careful when dealing with my properties" Ares whispered into his ears before walking away.....
