We saw Miss Marisa when we get down but she ignore us. Lucas then pulled me even closer to him. We decided to try other restaurants near the resort. It was a grill resto, I let Lucas order our food since he got the best choices so far.
We were drinking our coffee as we wait for our food. He was staring at me and I was staring at him too so I didn’t mind.
I like us this way, even though we weren’t talking I feel at peace. I don’t feel any problem at all. I am genuinely calm and relaxed.
He took his phone and took my picture. I raised my eyebrow on him but he just smiled.
“I’ll take a picture. Smile,” he said. I just shook my head and instead of smiling on his camera I made a face that made him chuckled.
I laugh and he just took another shots. I smiled sweetly for the last chat.
“Is it alright if we go back in manila later than the scheduled time?” I asked.
He just looked at me questioningly for a while before nodding and smiling at me.
Our food was served and we just ate in silence.
“I just want to enjoy the place for some time and besides I want to spend time with you since you accompanied me here. For sure you get bored while waiting,” I said.
“No, I wasn’t bored. I enjoyed waiting for you but I don’t mind staying a bit longer. But I wasn’t bored okay? Besides I did some of my works on my room sometimes so you don’t have to worry. And another thing, it was never boring to wait for you Veronica.”
I pouted, trying to hide my smile. He looked even handsome now that he’s telling me that. Gosh!
After eating our breakfast, we started roaming around the place. We saw some souvenir shops and enjoyed looking for a good gift for my team and of course for Lucas. He just stayed silent behind me almost all the time, letting me take my time.
I couldn’t hide the happiness that I feel in my inside. I just feel so happy that I am with him right now and it flatters me every time he held my waist. Sometimes he kisses the side of my forehead that made some of the tourist look at us amazed.
I hold his hand and pulled him to the last souvenir shop that I saw near the resort. I saw a cute figurine. I took it and smiled even more. It was like a snow ball but it only has waves in it, there’s some shimmer on it that made it more attractive and beautiful. 
“You’re so in love with the waves,” he whispered softly. He’s still behind me, almost hugging me from the back. 
“Hmm, they’re so beautiful.”
I answered and bought the souvenir.
I turned to face him and smiled wider.
“Look at that smile, gorgeous,” he said and put some of my hair behind my ear.
“Here, this one is for you,” I showed him the souvenir. “And this one is for me. This is the only pair that they have,” I said excitedly. He took it and chuckled before kissing me on my forehead. I smiled even more, I feel like my heart is dancing because of too much happiness.
“Whoa! Aren’t you two going home already?” Tanya suddenly showed up and asked us. She already has her bags with her, since it was the scheduled time for us to go back. She was smiling from ear to ear, teasing us.
“Ahh yeah, we’ll just go back in the afternoon,” I answered a bit embarrassed. 
“Omg! You two enjoy since we’ll be busy once we go back. Take care. Bye, Vy! Bye Sir!”
She hugged me after that and waved on Lucas.
“Take care, see you in the office,” I told her and hugged her back. She smiled and winked at me before leaving.
I looked at Lucas. I could feel my face still heating. I just feel embarrassed for all the teasing.
“Sorry for that, they keep on teasing us. I told them that we are not together but they wouldn’t believe me,” I explained. I couldn’t even look at him straight.
He just chuckled and pulled me closer to him, then his hand automatically held my waist.
“It’s alright. I like it that way,” he said still laughing a bit.
My face heated more and he chuckled again teasing me.
I pinched him jokingly and just laugh with him. There’s nothing wrong with this, right? I could feel this way, right? I can be happy and calm around him, right? He calms me and gives me peace, there’s nothing wrong with all of this, right?
We spend our time in the morning exploring the stores and local shops around the resort. At lunch we decided to eat on the resort and go back to our rooms to take a rest.
Around 3:30 in the afternoon when we checked out and leave the place. We both slept earlier so we just talk about random stuffs on the way home.
Sometimes we get too excited and laugh hard and then sometimes we just stay silent and contented about it. He keeps on glancing at me, telling to take a nap but I refused since I don’t feel sleepy. I just mess with him and we keep on laughing at some stuffs. For sure, we both enjoyed each other’s presence.
8:00 in the evening when we reached my apartment and I was shock to see Xavier there, waiting.
“Xavier,” I couldn’t continue asking him. 
He looked at me sharply and then looked at Lucas.
“I was waiting for you for hours here. Rica wouldn’t tell me where you were, but I guess I already know why,” he said firmly.
“C-can we come in f-first?” I said nervously. I took my key and hell my hand was shaking bad that Lucas have to help me open the gate.
We entered the house, Lucas put my things on the table without even bothering to look at me and his jaw still clinched. While Xavier look at him sharply.
I sighed. I turned to Xavier to ask.
“What are you doing here, Xavier?” He looked at me questioningly, as if I asked him something forbidden. He couldn’t believe it. I bit my lower lip to hide whatever emotion I have.
“Let’s talk,” he said firmly.
“About what?” I asked nervously. I couldn’t even identify the reason why I feel this way. Is it because Xavier is mad or is it because of something else.
“Let’s talk alone, Veronica.” He said firmly as he looked at Lucas.
Lucas jaw clenched. I bit my lower lip again because of frustration and look away. I don’t know what to do, what the fuck?
He sighed heavily that made me look at him. He looked so serious and I couldn’t read anything on him.
