“First time? When it was my first time it almost look like a disaster. You even put a shading and look at his features, tell me, you memorize his face that’s why this looked so perfect?”
I laughed again and shook my head she’s like Rica minus the wild side.
“You know, he’s handsome,” I admitted that made her tease me more.
We just stopped laughing and teasing each other when our instructor came. He first checked Tanya’s work, Tanya got so much praises for her work. After that he proceeded on my work. 
“Hmm, Miss Berdin, sharp edges but a great start,” I nodded and smiled at him.
“But it made the drawing more attractive. The shading are good too, some parts still needs improvements but its easy. Very good and your subject is really gorgeous,” he commented.
“Boyfriend?” he asked so sudden that I couldn’t answer right away. Tanya then answered for me but he told him that Lucas is my boyfriend. My face heated out of embarrassment on Lucas, he’s not my boyfriend. I don’t want him to think I was spreading lies about us.
“Nice taste,” the gay instructor added before going to the next table. I looked at where Lucas was sitting, he was still looking at me. I smiled at him a bit before looking away.
When the instructor finished his checking, he picked some of our works and showed it in front of everyone. Tanya’s work was the first to show because her work was definitely the best.
She was a bit shy about it though. The next works was good too, they are all beautiful. There’s really a lot of talented in our company, I am very entertained to see all of their works. All of the presented work was perfect that I wasn’t expecting to see my work but when it showed I felt all of my blood running on my face. 
“What the hell?” I whispered.
I heard my colleagues gasp for air when they saw my work, I even felt more embarrassed when some of them glanced at me as if they were teasing me.
I looked at Lucas that is now playing with his lips, trying to stop himself from smiling or laughing. I looked away and wished to be invisible.
The instructor explained why he liked my work but I couldn’t focus on what he is explaining. Tanya keeps on teasing me. Why the hell did that instructor have to pick my work, this is embarrassing! For sure there’s better work than mine!
Good thing the next instructor distracted my colleagues, they all focused on the lecture about colors, pallets and themes.
I was still beside Tanya but we were both busy taking down the tips and techniques that would be useful for us.
We were in the middle of the discussion when the employees of the resort served us food. The lecture and discussion continue. Most of the participants started to eat as they listen to the lecture. I looked at where Lucas is but he wasn’t there. Maybe he’s out to eat so I decided to start eating too.
We were all quite and busy listening on the discussion. I was about to finish my food when another employee approached me and served a coffee and a slice of cake. It also has a note.

I couldn’t hide my smile when I red the note. Tanya was smiling beside me too. Good thing we are distanced with our other colleagues, they couldn’t ask me about this.
The discussion went well, unlike the first discussion this felt lighter. Besides the fact that the instructor now was not too strict she sometimes strike a joke for us to loosen up.
We had an activity on how to put colors on a certain designs that would make it look more elegant, classy and expensive. If the first activity was for individuals, now we are tasked to do it by partner and my partner is Tanya.
In the afternoon, we still continue the discussions and activities until 7:00 o’clock in the evening.
I was still fixing my things when I felt a soft hand touched my waist. I looked at Lucas that is smiling at me now. Tanya smiled at us teasingly. 
“I gotta go, Vy. Enjoy the rest of the night hihi,” she said and waved at us. I nodded at her and waved back.
“Hi. I missed you,” Lucas whispered. I smiled wider and pinched him jokingly.
He took my things and guided me out of the venue.
“Let’s eat so you could rest,” he said. I agreed on him and let him guide me. He decided to eat our dinner on the resort’s restaurant.
“What do you want to eat?” he asked me after he sat on his chair.
“You choose for us. My neck hurts, we had a lot of activities,” I said and slightly massaged my neck.
“Your work was beautiful, even the one with your partner,” he said while smiling.
I bit my lower lip as I remembered my drawing on our first activity. He’s my subject and he saw it!
“Stop teasing me!” I pouted. He chuckled and pinch my nose teasingly. He did that easily because we were both leaning on the table.
I looked at him sharply and rolled my eyes on him.
“I looked handsome on your drawing,” he commented. I pouted even more, he keeps on teasing me about it.
“Stop teasing me! I should have look for another subject so you wouldn’t tease me about it,” I said irritated. He suddenly looked at me sharply.
What? He's still moody. 
“Good thing you decided to make me your subject, Veronica. It should be me only,” he said firmly.
I looked away and stopped myself from smiling.
“You’re work wouldn’t be that beautiful if I wasn’t your subject,” he added. I just nodded at him and agreed.
“Yeah, that’s why I chose you as my subject,” I said in a low voice. I looked at him slowly and saw him trying to hide his smile. I bit my lower lip to hide mine too.
I couldn’t believe he makes me feel a lot of foreign feelings. He makes me smile so easily and he makes me feel comfortable all the time. He gets a little moody sometimes but he always make me feel at peace after. 
Our food was served so we started eating. We stayed for a while after we finished our food and then decided to take a rest. He walked me to my room as usual before he goes to his room.
I couldn’t check my emails and other social media accounts out of tiredness. I just took a shower and then blow dry my hair and then sleep.

The next day was exhausting too. We spent our whole day with discussions and activities. It was very tiring but productive.
Like what we did last night we just ate and stayed for a while in the restaurant before he walked me to my room and then he goes to his. Tomorrow we will be heading back to manila but I decided to spend a little more time with him here so we’ll just go home in the afternoon. I just wanted to thank Lucas for staying with me here.
With those two hectic days he just stayed and waited for me. Sometimes he goes back to his room and then he’ll order a food for me that made Tanya tease me more on him. My colleague keeps on teasing me except for Miss Marisa who keeps on ignoring me, maybe she thinks Lucas is my boyfriend.
Before sleeping that night I get to answer Rica’s call. She just asked about work stuffs and then tease me with Lucas as usual. I just let her talk about her crazy thoughts when she knew that I decided to go back in the afternoon instead of morning and then when she feel satisfied she decided to finish our conversation.
Like last night, it didn’t took me long before sleeping. And then the next day, I woke up earlier.
I saw a message from Lucas.
Lucas:
Good morning, text me when you’re done. Let’s eat breakfast together.
I smiled and typed my reply.
Me:
Good morning, I’ll just prepare myself. You can go down first, I’ll just follow you there.
After sending my message I started my usual routine.
After taking a bath, I decide to wear a simple white off shoulder crop top and denim short with my flip-flops. I also tied my hair into a low bun and put on some lip balm. I smiled on my reflection and took my back and phone to text Lucas.
Me:
I’m done.
After sending it I headed straight to my door and saw Lucas walking near me. I thought he was already at the restaurant.
“Oh, you’re still here. I thought you go down already,” I said. I smiled at him sweetly, he smiled back. He put his hand on my waist, it was his usual gesture so I wasn’t shock anymore. I get used to it already.
“I want us to go down together. Good morning,” he said as we walk through the elevator.
I smiled when I saw our reflection. He was just wearing a simple clothes but his look scream hotness! No wonder he makes a lot of girls turn their heads on him. Sometimes I even feel like they couldn’t see me because they were too attracted at him! He doesn’t seem to know that almost everyone is attracted at him though.
He looked at me on our reflection and pulled me closer to him. He was almost hugging me from the side, I let him. I always like how he makes me feel loved and taken care of. It was as if I have everything every time he’s around me.
Ever since I knew him, he always feel sweet. I mean, before, of course not his way but even though it wasn’t at this point he always seem to care about me or anyone around him. He’s a nice guy. Sometimes I wonder how he manage to be this soft and caring when most of the time a guy with a good looks are assholes and jerks. He’s different and it makes him more attractive.
"I like it so much when you stare at me," he whispered.
