Kassandra had a flat expression on her face while Jacob was hugging her from the back. “Let go, Jacob.” She demanded but he tightened his hug. She then felt him shaking his head. “No. You’ll leave me again.” She groaned and rolled her eyes. It’s been thirty minutes that Jacob is holding her from behind while they are sitting on the sofa. “The hell Jacob, of course, I should leave. We can’t be bound like this forever.” “Just five more minutes.” “Ackkh you said that, 20 minutes ago.” “It’s because you’ll leave me.” There is no helping it. Jacob is just so stubborn. Kassandra sighed. “Okay. I know you want me to say something. So this is it, I’m gonna tell the truth.” She paused for a few seconds. “I saw what’s on your wallet last morning.” She felt him still. And Jacob felt like a buckle of ice fell from his head after hearing that. Shit. He is mad at himself that he was not able to change that. “I’m sorry. I’ll remove it right away.” Jacob immediately removed his right hand from wrapping around Kassandra’s waist as he took his wallet from his suit’s pocket. “Stop it.” Kassandra suddenly commands, making him stop from getting rid of the photo on his wallet. “W-What?” “Let go of me first.” “No.” Jacob instantly threw his wallet somewhere and hugged her back with two arms wrapped around her. Kassandra did not speak for a while and just let him be. “I’m sorry. I’m really sorry. I don’t want you to go-” “I want you to take your time.” Jacob was cut by her sudden remark. Kassandra let out a sigh to prepare herself to make him understand what she means by that. “Just take your time moving on. I won’t force you to give me all your love the right way.” She paused. “Besides, I’m the one who enjoined you from this mess. I am not going to be greedy towards you since I solely know the reason why and how hard it is. Take your time. I will just wait until you fully give me all your heart.” So since that night they have talked, everything went back to normal. Jacob immediately changed his ex’s photo in his wallet and did all his best to make it up to her. A month passed and Jacob lost his spirit when he found their room empty. There was no Kassandra who usually waited for him at home. There was no flesh of Kassandra who he always wanted to see when coming home. Nervous and scared, Jacob searched the room running and saw no sign of his beloved woman. Until then, he saw a letter on the coffee table on the sofa. ‘I will be out for a while. Don’t get stressed without me, old man. If you miss me, come and find me in every corner of the world. Hehe - Your gorgeous cheri’ He was left dumbfounded while holding the paper with his two fingers. He instantly grabbed his phone and dialled her number but he could not reach her. Now, he regrets that he had no social media so he can at least send her a message. At that time, he felt like it was the end of his world just by thinking about possibilities of what could happen to her. What if she gets into an accident? A car crash? What if she gets robbed? What if she gets kidnapped? What if she gets stuck in the elevator? What if she falls in the staircase? What if she slips?! He thought about places where she might have gone or whoever that seems to know where she is and he only knows one person. Luckily, he had contact with her. He immediately calls 2-33’s number while panicking. “Hello. Can I ask if you know Kassandra’s location?” “I’m sorry to say it in advance sir but I was informed by the Princess not to tell you anything related to her location.” His eyes went wide. “W-What? But why?” “It is the Princess’ order, sir.” He gripped his head. “Did she take 2-31 and 2-33 with her?” he asked again as his mind got filled with the possibilities that might happen if she wasn’t with the two. “No, sir. But I can guarantee you that the Princess is safe wherever she is.” As the call ended, he was left unmoved and uncollected. All he could hear was the sound of cars’ engines and the moving of the curtains in the window. Minutes later, he is staring outside the window and then he would look back at Kassandra’s letter. He felt doomed and scared, thinking of all the possible places she could go and possible incidents that might happen while she is away. He is feeling that kind of feeling he had not felt for a long time. That feeling of- like losing everything when this certain someone is from you. And he knows this is coming. Since he had admitted his feelings to Kassandra, he had been afraid of the fact that she has a unique hobby and a unique personality that he likes and that he also had been afraid of. It is a fact that the woman he now wants to spend his life with, is dangerous. She is oddly dangerous that you want to put her into jail just with a reason that she could not run away from his domain anymore. Just where the f*ck is she? And what does she plan while away? And when would she come back? Meanwhile, to some space on the earth… “Good morning, everyone. I am Kassie Vasques, please take care of me.” Kassie had a wide smile on her lips while introducing herself to her co-workers to the mansion of Des Fluers’ family. She was told what to do and what work she is assigned to do. And then one of them told her to wipe the ornaments as they informed her where to get the dust cleaner. So then, she started working. While doing her task, she was looking at the surroundings and she could not stop but was amazed by how elegant the mansion looks on the inside. She couldn’t imagine Jacob choosing to left this home. “Who are you?” She directly stood up straight before bowing her head to greet. “Good morning, madam. I am the new hired maid of the household. It is nice to meet you, madam.” “Raise your head.” She did what she was told as she looked at the beautiful face of Jacob’s mother. She is even more beautiful in person than in the photos. “You’re so beautiful to be just a mere maid.” She smiled. “Thank you for the compliment, madam.” The madam smiled back. “Do you have more specialties?” “May I ask for suggestions to what you mean, madam?” The madam’s brows furrowed as she crossed her arms. “Like fashion, makeup, embroidery and more.” Kassie’s face lit up. “Fashion and makeup, madam! I can help you with those things!” “Tomorrow, come to my room at 7.” “Yes, madam!” The madam rolled her eyes as she passed her. Kassie is now smiling while doing her task. She is also thinking of what to do.
