Three months later, Kassandra had enough evidence to take down the madam. She dedicated all her time gaining the madam’s trust as she did all what ‘the’ madam wants. She meets Jacob in the best possible time and talks to the master of the household when the madam is not in the place.
Now that Amanda, the daughter of Mrs. Salvatoria, has been kidnapped by Jacob, because of what she had done at Jacos’ house in Holland, Kassandra has also prepared what she is going to do.
“Right now, you need to give her all she wants, papa.” Kassie reminded Mr. Des Fluers who agreed to what she asked.
Because Kassie knows what the madam is planning, they only need to do not is to gather real and authentic evidence to show the government so that Miss Shawn Dregion, the one who imprinted the real Mrs. Des Fluers, along with her father, will never escape.
After the talk between Kassie and Mr. Des Fluers, she called Jacob to talk to him.
She is now at the gate of the house to make sure that no one will hear her.
“How’s everything?” She asked Jacob.
“I got her. She confessed everything.”
“He is in Australia right?”
“Yes, as expected. We lost track of him back then.”
“Alright. That will be your task as the new Asta.”
“Yes. Leave it to me. And one more thing, we can also sue the Salvatorias with their current plan.”
Her brows furrowed as she leaned her back to the wall. “What could that be?”
“They are planning on harming my sister-in-law and invading her property in Holland, before June.”
Kassandra nodded her head, not worrying about that.
“That’s their second plan, actually. Miss Shawn is planning on kidnapping your younger brother while they will attack his wife. Her objective is still uncovered but I’m pretty sure that she will make papa do something this week so they can execute that plan most likely next week’s next week.”
The other line sighed. “So what are we gonna do?”
Kassandra hummed and started walking around the place. “As for now, do not let Amanda Salvatoria escape from the cell. Inform your brother about their plan so they can prepare themselves with the attack. And make sure to tell him to be as calm as possible.”
“Got it, that’s a simple task for him.”
They were engulfed with silence. Kassandra stopped walking.
“I miss you.”
“Want me to come? I’ll go right away.”
She laughed with his abrupt reply.
“No, it’s fine. Let’s end everything here first and we’ll do whatever we want after. We can also have lots of sex and dates to other places.”
Jacob laughed. “Now that you mention that, I want to come.”
“I’ll spank you if you come, man.” She directly disagreed.
“That’s so bad, cheri. I want a reward for being a good boy these past months.”
“Good boy to what? Because you didn’t ask for sex?”
Jacob’s laugh got louder. “That’s an honest disagreement, cheri.”
She chuckled. “Well yeah, you’re right. You’ve been a good boy these past months but just not this time, okay?”
He chuckled. “I love you.”
“Well, I love you too.”
Jacob was smiling before hanging up and then his smile faded as soon as the call ended. He then looked at the company employees who just looked away after he hung up.
He was actually in a general meeting and because it was his lover who called, he excused to stop the presenter and told them to wait for him to finish the call. They did not hear anything about the conversation but they heard the CEO laugh for the first time. And his secretary who’s standing beside him was stopping himself from showing any reaction because he had heard everything his boss uttered.
“Continue.” He commanded and went back to his serious usual self.
The next week, Kassie could only follow the madam around. The madam was so happy that she dragged her around into different shops the whole day, and the fact that the madam only brought her with her to shop.
‘This is annoying!’
She felt tired now especially after hearing the same thing every day. This madam is just a boring woman who only thinks about her mightiness and luxury. You had no time to talk some sense with the madam especially when she thinks that you have beautiful skin, good skin, and a proportional body. She would always waste her time talking and taking pictures. She would waste money by buying things that pleases her eyes even though it is not needed.
Kassie was trying to be patient because of the paper bags she was carrying with her and to the extent that she could only bite her lips when she saw something she really wanted to get.
“Is there something wrong?”
She came back to her senses when the madam spoke. She didn’t even realize that she was mesmerized with the beautiful green nightgown she saw.
“Do you want that?”
She was surprised by what the madam said, as if she was planning to buy it for her but it was just for a slip of second.
“The gown’s elegance will be ruined if it is worn by someone who touches more dust than food.”
She really wanted to roll her eyes now and speak for herself but she remembers that she has not still completed her mission so she showed a bitter smile.
“I was mesmerized because I think I’ve seen a celebrity wear it before.” She faked a laugh although right now, she wanted to kick this woman’s leg.
The madam scoffed and went inside the store.
“I’ll buy it for tonight’s honeymoon with my husband.”
She did not resist the insult and found herself rolling her eyes when the madam turned her back.
‘As if the master would sleep with you.’
There are still long hours to go and when she had finally stepped inside her room, she directly dropped her body into the bed and quickly fell asleep, feeling tired and drained.
The last thought she had before sleeping is, ‘go die, you bitch.’
