SABRINA’S POV
A few days had passed since what happened in the boutique. After I had finished getting ready that day, I immediately went to the address that Aiden had sent. It was still fresh in my mind what happened that night, especially his sincere words. Those words were like music in my ears, and every time I remembered them, they caused butterflies in my stomach.
FLASHBACK:
When I arrived at the address Aiden had sent me earlier, I was shocked when I saw him alone. However, I immediately shrugged it off and came closer to where he was. I think he instantly noticed my presence. He seemed shocked seeing me, so I felt shy about the way he looked at me.
“ You look exceptionally beautiful tonight,” Aiden commented in amusement while smiling widely at me. He did not remove his eyes away from me.
“ Stop joking around, Sir Anderson. What meeting is this? I need to follow it up because you are supposed to be with someone right now.” I tried to compose myself as I rebuked him. I was simply being cautious. I did not want anyone to speak something terrible about me.
“ Let just say that I am meeting with soon-to-be Mrs. Anderson,” He widely smiled while standing up from where he was seated.
I slightly got shocked because of what he said. It also seemed like my brain was slow to process what he said. Wait, meeting for soon-to-be Mrs. Anderson? Am I the one he was pertaining to? I stopped thinking too much when I felt a slight hit to my forehead.
“ What were you thinking? You seemed not happy to what you hear,” Aiden childishly tantrums, which made me smile.
“ It was your fault. I really thought that you have a business meeting,” I chuckled, but he frowned.
“ You were the one who told me that I would be too busy this whole week. I will be leaving tomorrow, so I want to spend some dinner date with the woman who inspires me to do everything I am doing. She also served as my only rest,” He sincerely explained and smiled at me. I felt all my blood rush into my cheeks.
“ Stop it already, you complimented me enough for today,” I blushed as I hit his arm weakly. He chuckled because of what I did.
“ My soon-to-be wife is really cute,” He stated and pinched my nose.
“ Aiden,” I called him while trying to hide my giggles, but he continued to laugh.
“ Let us take a seat,” He remarked after he stopped laughing. He also supported me as I sat down on the chair parallel to him.
“ Thank you,” I smiled. He smiled at me before going back to his chair.
As soon as Aiden sat down, the server came out of nowhere, and the staff started putting our food on the table. It seemed like Aiden really planned this night, which made me smile. I do not know what I did to be blessed with an Aiden Anderson.
“ Stop that,” I heard Aiden speak, which made me back to reality.
“ Huh?” I asked in wonder.
“ Stop making that face, or I might forget that we are in the restaurant and start kissing you,” He threatened me with a smirk, which made me close my mouth. Tsk, I am sure he will not stop himself from doing that because it worked in his favor.
“ W-why are we here? W-what we are doing here?” I stammered while asking him since he looked at me seductively.
“ Nothing special. Just like what I said earlier, I just want to spend time with my soon-to-be wife since we will be apart for many weeks because of the business summit,” He replied without cutting off his seductive look.
“ Stop that,” I seriously said. He simply laughed before sitting properly.
“ And what do you mean about soon-to-be wife thingy? That will be far in reality, especially since your parents disagreed on our relationship,” I sadly stated and slightly lowered my head. I lifted my head when I felt his gentle touch on my hand, which was on top of the table.
“ Do not think much about my parents. I am prepared to fight for you, for us, because I love you so much. I am sure that the time will come when they will finally accept you again. However, I cannot wait any longer because I could not see the next days of my life without you bearing my surname,” Aiden said, smiling at me with sincerity and love in his eyes. I could not help but shed tears.
“ The same with me, Aiden. You will the only man I will love until the end of my life. I could not see myself loving another man except our children and grandchildren,” I smiled widely at him, and we could not help but laugh because of my last words. Aiden reached my cheeks and gently wiped the tears from my eyes.
“ Always remember, Sab, I love you so much and am ready to do everything for you. Even if you and I are against the world is no longer applicable in modern times, that is fine because you are the only world I know. So, I will do everything to fight for you,” He remarked, which made me laugh.
“ You ate so much corn, Mr. Anderson,” I chuckled.
“ You still love me,” He said and smiled.
“ Yes, I really love you so much,”
END OF FLASHBACK
Tok, tok, tok
I came back to reality when I heard a sound coming from my table. I only realized that I was here in the office and its time for me to work. I looked at whoever knocked on my table, and I almost fell to the ground when I realized who it was.
“ M-Mrs. Anderson,” I stammered while calling her. I hurriedly stood up.
“ In my office, Ms. Cruz. “ She said with full of authority. She turned her back to me afterward.
I only fixed my clothes to look presentable and immediately followed Aiden’s Ma’am. Gosh, it seemed like I would be in a bad shot again.
AIDEN’S POV
I was currently looking at the scenery displayed outside my hotel room’s window. Singapore is really a beautiful place with a perfect sunset. How I wish Sabrina was here so that we would watch this beautiful scenery together. I was about to get my cell phone in my pocket when I suddenly hesitated. Sabrina might only go home right now. I will postpone my call to her. I will let her be on her own and take a good amount of rest.
“ Hey, Aiden! Do you want to join us in the club later?” Mr. Villafuerte asked me. He was one of our business partners that I am with here at the summit.
“ I think I will pass. I quit clubbing a long time ago. “ I politely declined.
“ Is it because of Sabrina? Come on, Aiden, just for tonight forget that you have a girlfriend. Besides, she is not here. She will not know if no one will tell her,” He tried to convince me and winked at me.
“ It does not mean she is not here; I would act like a single man. You should enjoy without me,” I remarked.
“ You are such a killjoy, bro. How about this? You will join us, but you will not drink. Do not be too lonely here,” He tried to convince me again. I sighed.
“ Fine, no drinks and no girls.” I replied with authority.
“ Fine, fine. No drinks and girls for you, then. See you. “ He smiled before leaving my hotel room.
After almost two hours, I heard someone knocking on my door, so I opened it. I saw Mr. Villafuerte and some of the bachelors.
“ It seems like you are ready. Let’s go. “ He said before putting his arm on my shoulder.
I closed the hotel room door and went to the bar they had arranged with the other bachelors. Rather than going to the dance floor area, we went to a VIP room where expensive alcohol and many girls were almost naked from head to toe. I hurriedly looked down to remove my attention from those girls. I went to the bar table, where an exclusive bartender was serving us.
“ Oh, Tiffany you are here.” I heard one of the bachelor's remarks, so I looked at the woman he called, who currently wearing a tight-fitted dress.
“ Duh, of course. I am still one of the representative of our company,” She arrogantly replied and passed through the other bachelors.
I shifted my attention to the glass of beer the bartender had offered me earlier. Because I could not do anything, I drank one glass in one shot. It would not hurt, maybe, if I drank one glass. I am going to use it as a sleeping pill.
“ Hey, Aiden. You are here,” Tiffany greeted me and massaged my shoulder seductively.
“ Of course. They did not stop bugging me until I said yes,” I answered and avoided her hands.
“ Do you mind if I join you? It seemed that the other bachelors were already drunk,” She said. I simply nodded to end my conversation with Tiffany. I was not comfortable with the way she looked at me, mainly because of what she was wearing.
I did not remember what happened the rest of the night. I just woke up the next day in a room I was sure was not mine. I hurriedly stood up when I saw Tiffany beside me. I looked around, and I saw my clothes scattered on the floor. Fudge, Aiden! What have you done?!
