SABRINA’S POV
“Oh, you finally arrived. But wait, why you looked so stress?” Sheryl greeted me that way when I sat down. We are here in a Chinese-Filipino restaurant that Sheryl chose.
“Well, the world will not stop because I am getting married. Of course, aside from preparing for my wedding, I am also working,” I gasped for air while answering Sheryl's question. She handed me a glass of water.
“I could not understand why you did not want to accept Aiden’s suggestion. You should file a leave in your work, so you can focus on your wedding preparation,” Sheryl said.
“Duh, I don’t want any special treatment in the office just because Aiden and I are getting married. Besides, there are a lot of workload we need to do before our wedding. Of course, I do not want to work while in the honeymoon,” I jokingly told her. She laughed.
“So, you already looking forward to your honeymoon?” Sheryl smirked at me as she teased me. I felt like all my blood went up to my face because of what she said.
“Excuse me, Ma’am, are you ready to order?” I almost hugged the waiter when he suddenly appeared. I love his timing because if he did not appear, I was sure that Sheryl wouldn’t stop making fun of me.
“I’ll let you decide, Sheryl. I will just go to the restroom to re-do my makeup,” I told her, which made her nod.
“Excuse me, where is the restroom?” I politely asked the waiter after I looked in his direction.
“Just walk straight there, then turn left,” He politely responded and pointed out where I should go.
“All right, thank you,” I smiled at him. I stood up and walked towards where the waiter directed me to go.
When I arrived at the restroom, I was shocked when a woman wearing a hoodie suddenly bumped me. After she bumped me, she immediately left and never looked back at me. I could not help but shake my head because of how she acted. I was about to enter one of the cubicles when I noticed an envelope lying on the floor. Hmm, maybe the woman who bumped me left it here.
I got it from the floor and checked it. There was no name outside the envelope, so I did not have a choice but to open it to check. I was hoping that there will be some contact information, so I could give the envelope back to her. However, I could not help but crumple the paper when I read what was written. [Are you sure that your fiancée was not hiding something? If I were you, I will not show up on your wedding day.] Tsk! This cryptic message again. I’ve received this kind of message multiple times this past few weeks.
I immediately tear down the paper and then throw it into the trashcan. After I finished doing my business in the restroom, I decided to go back to where Sheryl was.
“Oh, here you are again. You arrived in the right time. Our order just arrived, but what took you so long?” Sheryl asked after I sat down.
I hesitantly looked at her before I responded, “there was a weird woman who bumped me in the restroom. She did not bother to apologize to me,” I said.
“Oh, maybe she was rushing to go somewhere. Just forget about her,” She replied and started eating.
“Yeah, let’s eat, so we can start planning other details about my wedding,” I replied and started eating too. Even if I want to tell what happened in the restroom earlier to Sheryl, I stopped myself. I was fully aware of this kind of prank, especially since Aiden is a CEO. Then, his competitors will always make a way to spread rumors to destroy his reputation.

A few hours had passed before Sheryl and I decided to go home. When I entered my condo, I immediately throw myself onto the sofa. Gosh, even if I did not work today, I looked like I worked overtime because of the way I felt so tired. I was about to close my eyes when my phone suddenly rang. I could not help but smile when I saw Aiden’s name on my phone’s screen.
“Hello,” I huskily greeted him as I answered the call.
[Sabrina?] Even if we are not together, I could see how he was frowning because of the way he called me.
“Hmm?” I replied. I was so sleepy.
[ What happened? Why your voice sounds like that?]
“I was exhausted,” I said.
[Is that so? Should we cancel our dinner date tonight?]
I instantly got up and sat down properly because of what he said, “Dinner? Wait, I could not remember that we have scheduled dinner today.” I heard him chuckle on the other line. Maybe because of the way I reacted.
[Yes, we haven’t, but I thought that maybe I should ask my fiancée for a dinner date. But, since you looked tired, I will just cancel it.]
I looked at my wristwatch, “Do not. It is only four in the afternoon. I can take some rest before dinner time,” I replied.
[You just miss me,] Aiden teasingly told me.
“Of course, did you not miss me?” I grumpily asked him.
[Of course, I miss you too. I’ll text you the address. Just get some rest, for now.]
“ Okay, see you.” After I said those words, I ended the call.
I slowly leaned on the sofa. Sab, you should not worry anything about Aiden. You are the only one he loves. And whoever doing this to ruin your relationship, do not let them. I stopped talking to myself when I heard someone press the doorbell on my apartment’s door. I immediately got up and walked there.
“Good afternoon. This is delivery for Ms. Sabrina Cruz,” the delivery rider politely said.
“That is me. What kind of delivery is that?” I confusedly asked him since I was not expecting any delivery.
“I don’t know, Ma’am. But this is already paid. Please sign here,” he said and handed me the paper where I will sign.
“I will go ahead, Ma’am. Have a nice day.” After he handed me the package, he bid goodbye and leave me.
I was wondering while I was shaking the package because I could not hear anything. Is this an empty package? Rather than overthinking it, I decided to enter my condo and get a scissor to open the package. I was shocked when I saw a plastic-made black rose and a picture frame where my head was cut. I also looked at the back of the picture and just like before, it had a message telling me to back out on my wedding with Aiden. Because of my anger, I destroyed the black rose and the picture frame and then I threw it to the trashcan. Whoever made this fuss, might not stop bothering me until the day of my wedding with Aiden. But I will not let him ruin the beautiful plan Aiden and I made for our future.

“You look so beautiful tonight, my love,” Aiden greeted me while widely smiling when he saw me.
“You still master how to flatter me,” I jokingly replied. He laughed and helped me sit down in my chair.
“I already ordered our food. I thought that you might arrive her hungry, so I ordered,” He said after he sat down. I nodded and smiled.
“What’s wrong?” Aiden asked, which made me in shock.
“What do you mean?” I asked.
“You smiled, but your eyes did not shine,” Aiden asked in wonder.
“Ah, don’t mind it. I am just tired,” I lied even if the truth is I am still wondering who the mastermind of those pranks would possibly be asking me to do not to show up at my wedding with Aiden.
“Aww, my fiancée looked pitiful. I already told you that we should hire a professional wedding coordinator,” he replied in his sweetest voice as he massaged my palm.
“You know that I don’t want to, right? I want to be the one hands-on in our wedding preparation,” I responded.
Aiden’s face changed into a serious one which made him look more handsome, “I just don’t want you to be tired.”
“I’m fine, I am just tired but at the end of the day, it will be a relief once I saw that everything was worth it in our wedding day,” I smiled at him.
“Fine, I will never win over you,” Aiden replied while raising his two hands like he was surrendering. I could not help but laugh because of how he looked right now. Who would have thought that behind a respectable young CEO is a childish man?
“Here’s your order, Ma’am, and Sir. Enjoy your meal,” the waiter said while smiling at me, so I smiled back at him. Afterward, he left.
I frowned when I faced Aiden with a dark aura, “what is your problem?” I asked.
“Psh, that guy, did he not see you are wearing an engagement ring?” he said while throwing tantrums then he get the spoon and fork.
“Pfft, are you jealous?” I tried my best to stop myself from laughing while I was asking him.
“Tsk, then you will laugh at me. You should be with him,” he grumpily stated. I stood up and approached him.
“My fiancée looked so cute when he is jealous,” I said and pinched his two cheeks.
“Stop it, there are a lot of people here,” Aiden grumpily said, so I pouted and let him go.
“So, are you ashamed of me? Then I should pinch the server’s cheeks,” I sulkily stated and turned my back to him. However, I immediately turned to him again and could not help but embrace Aiden when he suddenly pulled me strongly.
“What did you say?” He seriously asked me. I wrapped my arms around his neck. It was a perfect move since a piece of romantic music suddenly played in the background.
“I said that you should not be jealous of other men because you are the one I chose. You are the man I will be marrying and you are the only man that I will love for the rest of my life,” I sincerely said and smiled at him. He looked away, but I saw how his ears turned red. Is he shy with me?
“Aish, my husband is so jealous,” I said and smiled at him.
“What did you say?” He widely smiled at me as he asked.
“Hus-band,” I slowly utter the word ‘husband’. I saw how his ears turned red even more. He hugged me.
“What if I marry you right now?” He whispered, so I slightly hit his chest.
“Just wait on our planned day. It’s only few weeks from now,” I replied.
“I love you so much, Sabrina.” Even if I could not see him, I could imagine how full of sincerity his eyes might be right now.
“I love you so much, Aiden.” I replied. I felt how he gently kissed my forehead, so I could not help but smile. I could be the luckiest woman alive in this world.

“Just wait for a second,” I shouted from the kitchen. I heard a doorbell again.
I hurriedly went to the door. Since my dinner date with Aiden last night ended late, I also woke up late today. When I woke up earlier, I immediately started cleaning the house because Aiden mentioned to me last night that he will visit me today, so he can help me plan our wedding.
“Aiden, you are ea---” I stopped talking when I realized that it was not Aiden.
“What are you doing here?”
