SABRINA’S POV
“ Sabrina…”
I looked at my back when I heard his sweet voice. I gasped for air, and my tears started flowing more when I saw him kneeling on the ground and holding a small box with a shiny diamond ring on it.
“ Ai-Aiden,” My tears were still flowing from my eyes while I was calling his name.
“ Hush, my love,” Aiden tried to calm me and gently massaged my hand after he reached it. However, I noticed how tears started to form in his eyes.
“ Sabrina, you are the best thing that came into my life. It might sound corny and cheesy, but you light my world. I could not remember my life in the past when you are not around and I could not imagine my life will be in the future without you in my side…” He stopped talking, and his tears started flowing down his cheeks. I immediately wiped it and smiled at him.
“ That is why, Sabrina L. Cruz, please spend the rest of your life with me. Will you marry me?” Aiden asked and intensely looked at me. His eyes were waiting for my answer.
“ Of course, yes!” I said while smiling. My tears were still flowing in my eyes abundantly. This is one of the best days of my life.
After Aiden heard my answer, he smiled widely at me, removed the ring from its box and put it on my finger. After he put it on me, he immediately stood up and hugged me tightly. I also instantly wrapped my hands around his neck. I felt that I was lifted and Aiden carry me and turn around. I could not hide the happiness I am feeling right now because I felt like I am flying in the clouds, not only because of happiness but also the way Aiden carried me.
After a while, I heard a loud sound from the sky which made me look up. Aiden also put me down when he heard the fireworks. I gently put my head on his chest, and we both looked to the sky and enjoyed watching the colorful fireworks.
I only noticed the crowd when the fireworks started fading from the sky. I saw my friends in college who witnessed my love story with Aiden. I also saw some of Aiden’s friends. I could not help but smile widely when I noticed my cousins as well as Sheryl. Gosh, this is the reason why she advised me that way. She is informed of Aiden’s surprise.
“ Is there a problem?” I looked at Aiden when I heard him ask me.
I slowly shook my head, “ nothing,” I replied then faked a smile.
“ You’re lying,” He commented and looked into my eyes.
“ I just wonder if…” I stopped talking because I hesitated to tell him what I noticed, or I will just forget about it.
“ Do not think about it. I told my parents about my plan before I proposed to you. They could not come since they were in a business trip,” Aiden explained like he read my mind.
“ Thank you for coming in my life, Aiden,” I sincerely told him before hugging him.
“ Remember that I love you so much, Sabrina.” He sweetly stated and kissed me on my forehead.
Afterward, our family, friends and loved ones approached us one by one to congratulate us on our engagement.

“ Wait!” I shouted and hurriedly ran towards the elevator.
It was almost nine in the morning, so I am running. I woke up late since I went home so late yesterday. It was because Aiden and I decided to visit my parent’s grave after we left the park.
“ Oh, Sabrina!” Bianca called me when I entered the office.
“ Wait, Bianca. I will just say hi to Sir Aiden,” I hurriedly told her. I was preparing to run when I heard what she said.
“ Do not worry. Sir Aiden did not arrive yet,”
“ Huh?” I confusedly asked and face her.
“ Sir Aiden hasn’t showed up yet. He seemed like he was late too,” She replied, so I approached her.
“ Is that so? Whoo! That was tiring,” I shouted and breathed heavily. It seemed like I ran fast for nothing. But wait, why Aiden wasn’t arriving yet?
“ I am sure, girl. In fact, all of us here are waiting to Sir,” I wondered upon hearing what she remarked. I also looked around the office. She was right, everyone is not doing anything and they kept on looking at the door.
“ What is happening?” I could not help but ask out of curiosity.
“ Well, there was a rumor that Sir Aiden was already engaged,” Bianca whispered.
“ Uh-uh,” I choked when I heard it, so she gave me a water bottle. I immediately drank it.
“ Where did you hear it?” I asked. Gosh, the news spread faster than I imagined.
“ I don’t know, so we are waiting for Sir to know the truth. But, how about you?” She stopped talking and intensely looked at me.
“ What about me?” I asked and secretly gulped. Gosh, where did Aiden go? I am almost cornered here, but he didn’t arrive yet.
“ What I mean was, were you not aware about it? I mean, you are Sir’s executive secretary. Did you not notice anything?” She asked one after another.
“ Ah… Good morning, Sir.” I instantly greeted Aiden when I saw him entering the office.
Everyone’s attention shifted to Aiden who just entered the office. It also seemed like he was shocked when I shouted while greeting him. Well, I did not have any choice but to do what I do, so Bianca’s attention shift also.
“ Good morning, everyone. It is a beautiful day, let us do some work now,” Aiden greeted everyone with a smile, and then he walked toward his office.
“ Miss Cruz, bring me some coffee.” He instructed before entering his office.
“ Bianca, you should go back to your work. I have to make Sir Aiden’s coffee,” I said. Then, I went to the office pantry to make a coffee for Aiden.
I immediately knocked on Aiden’s office. However, I did not hear him reply, still, I entered his office. Maybe he was talking on the phone so he did not hear me. When I entered, I wondered where he was because I did not see him on his swivel chair.
“ Oh my gosh,” I shouted in shock when I felt someone wrap his hands around my waist.
“ Aiden, what are you doing?” I rebuked him and harshly tapped his hand. My ghad, I almost threw the cup of coffee I was holding in shock. I heard him chuckle because of my reaction.
“ How was the day of my fiancée so far?” He asked, which made me smile.
“ Let go of me first. Your coffee is hot,” I instructed. He looked like a child when he followed what I said. I walked toward his table and put there the cup of coffee I am holding.
“ Why are you being so grumpy?” He pouted and sat down in his swivel chair.
“ It was because the first thing that welcomed me in the office is the rumor that you are already engaged,” I said while my hand was on my waist. I could not help but raise my eyebrow when I saw Aiden's wide smile.
“ Oh, so what was the problem there? It was you who did not want to tell them that you were the one who they were looking for,” He teasingly told me.
“ You could not understand me at all. I did not want to let your parents or other people around you think that I am taking advantage on you,” I sadly explained and bowed my head. I felt Aiden move from where he was, then he held my hand.
“ Ai-Aiden, where are we going?” I asked when he started pulling me towards his office’s exit.
Aiden did not bother to answer me and just continued walking. I lowered my head when I noticed that we already caught our workmates' attention. Shocks, what was Aiden thinking?!
“ Everyone, listen up!” Aiden loudly instructed to get everyone’s attention inside the office.
“ What are you trying to do?” I whispered and tried to remove his hand from me. However, his grip on me tightened more.
“ I know everyone is curious about my girlfriend. So today, I want you to meet my girlfriend… correction my fiancée, Sabrina Cruz,”
My eyes widened upon hearing Aiden’s announcement. Gosh! I just said earlier that I wasn’t ready to announce to everyone my relationship with him. I closed my eyes and prepared myself on hearing my workmate’s judgement of us, however, I only heard loud claps from the crowd. It made me open my eyes on surprised and looked at them.
“ Congrats, Sir!”
“ Oemgee, we guessed it right,”
“ It took you so long to admit it, Sir”
“ Congrats for the both of you,”
I could not stop the tears in my eyes to flow upon hearing their greetings to us. Everyone in the room have a genuine smile while they were congratulating me.
“ I told you. You have nothing to worry about,” Aiden whispered, and then he wiped the tears from my eyes.
“ Thank you “ I whispered to him.
“ I love you, Sab.”
“ Ahem!”
